Will never go back. Problems: -No live inventory. They claim it is. It isnt. -Unhelpful Staff "cant" do basically anything. Like order a gun. Which a gun shop ought to be able to handle. -Do not respect committed buyers. So let me lay down my story here. I went on their site and found a revolver that had 10 in stock. I emailed them immediately and asked for them to hold it, and headed to the bank. The next day, I checked it again. 10 in stock. Great! Time for a new revolver! Not so fast. Clicked ad to cart and was met with we are out of stock message. I immediately called in and asked what was happening. -"Oh, were sold out, yea" -Did you not get my email to hold a gun? Im a committed buyer FFS, I already agreed to buy it. -"Mmm yea, we dont hold guns and we dont have control over our inventory" -Ok.... weird, but fine. So when are new ones coming in? -"Oh, well, maybe next year?" -Really. Next year. Can I special order through you guys? I dont mind paying extra... -"Ooo sorry, we only get them through wholesalers." -Yes, Im aware of how importing firearms works; I was asking if you could special order me one. -"No." So not only did this gun shop NOT hold my revolver, even though I was a mere 12 hours away from my cash being ready to go, they didnt even bother to try to order me another one. What gun store cant get a hold of a gun? And to be clear; this revolver is still produced. Im not looking for a rare gun, this is just a basic Taurus. So. I rate them a "D". I will not go back, in fact the only thing that drew me in the first place was the price, which was only $5 less than the next store. But for the amount of heartache and disappointment in finding out the gun I asked to be held was sold out from under me, I will likely never go back to TSS. Staff didnt seem to understand how to place a special order. Or didnt seem motivated to, at any rate. I buy guns monthly; this has been my biggest let down in decades. Never met a gun store that wouldnt hold a gun for a committed buyer. At time of writing, I have placed a Taurus on hold at Shop And Drop in Colorado. They were very friendly, helpful, and were more than happy to get me the gun I wanted. So, thanks for wasting my time TSS; you just lost a huge gun buyer.

I have purchased and transferred several firearms through TSS. Customer service here is really hit or miss and this seems to be entirely dependent on what youre purchasing. Today I went in to pick up a transfer of a used Taurus Model 66. While I was there, another customer was picking up a much nicer .357 revolver that clearly was ordered through one of the TSS wholesale sources. During the course of the transaction I was effectively berated for purchasing a cheap, used revolver off of gunbroker, which Chad apparently wont even use anymore, though he still sells there, while the other customer actually LAUGHED at my expense. I wonder if the other customer has purchased or transferred around 10 firearms through TSS? I have several very expensive collector pieces, just because every gun I buy isnt $1000 is no reason to try and humiliate me in your store, and its certainly no way to treat a loyal, repeat customer if you want to keep their busimess. Further, not only have I been a customer here for nearly 4 years, but I have recommended TSS to multiple friends who have made purchases here, both locally and for transfer. This is not the first time Ive been treated this way here, but it will definitely be the last. I never walked into the other Tooele gun stores until today, and when I did both of them were friendly and respectful and acted as if they wanted my business. Peak Firearms is friendly and also locally owned. They will also beat TSS prices for in-stock items and actually sell ammo in the store. They also seem to have more suppliers as they can order nearly anything you ask for, within reason. The prices at TSS are great and typically the staff is very friendly, but Im not really interested in being talked down to from someone whos business I support. These few bad experiences are enough to make me take my business elsewhere.

I purchased a new ruger firearm from this company that arrived with blemishes a blind man could have seen clearly they are not opening up the boxes for retrieval of serial numbers for logging in and or just don.t care about sending you a blemished firearm or both. Spoke with Chad Smith and a Chris Dyer sent out a call tag and Chad had told me he would reimburse me for my FFL fee but turns out they said they never said that and bragged about reselling the blemished firearm and told me I was window shopping for the perfect gun you look at the pics and decide and whether you want to roll the dice with such type of people for your hard earned money, I say not me. Notice no response to the fact that they bragged about reselling the firearm, I called ruger weeks later they said it should not have left factory that way but never received firearm back, hmm consistent with reselling it again with known defects, why not post your response to the Utahs attorney generals bureau of consumer protection in regards to reselling it .The truth will set you free!

I was looking for 2 rifles for a Christmas present for my son and daughter and spent about 2 weeks checking places all over the country online. I was able to find 2 from different dealers and their prices were about a $100 more. I happened to stumble across Tooele Shooting Supply and decided to send them an email to see if they had any in stock. I quickly received an email from the Owner Chad who told me that he had 10 of them coming in. I was looking for the Stainless Ruger 10/22 I-TAC TALO .22lr Rifle with the ATI Folding/ Collapsible Tactical stock. Sure enough he came thru with my order and in Stainless. Great customer service, awesome prices and fast response to emails. I will be checking with Chad from here on out on all my future gun purchases. ~ The Elkhunter in Colorado

Cant beat his prices or his service. Today they saved me $75 shipping to return a gun to a manufacturer, this is not a firearm I bought through Chad. I bet it cost him a merchant account fee to do so as I used my debit card. I have only stopped in a few times and bought a grand toatal of less than $700.00 of merchendice from Chad yet he seems to recognise me, and greet me as if I was Norm walking into Cheers. I can not recall an owner operator ever steering me away from a bad product before, he stocked the same pistol in a diferent caliber and yet he told the quality was poor and unless I was buying it for a novelty I would be better served with almost anything else.

I was skeptical of buying a gun from here as I had not ever heard of them. I saw a lot of very positive reviews and decided to purchase. I bought a brand new Gen 3 Glock 30 for cheapest price on the internet at the time (much cheaper than local gun shops). Paid $9 and change for shipping. Bought the gun late Friday night and had the gun to my local FFL on Wednesday. Gun was in perfect condition as advertised other than it had stock Glock night sights which was a very very nice surprise. Totally impressed and satisfied with Tooele Shooting Supply and will look here first for my next gun purchase for sure! Thanks!!!
