Our high school track team ordered our warmups from this company, and it was a nightmare. It started with the presentation of what clothes we could use- the worker was extremely uneducated in what he was trying to sell. He left and we considered backing out- and should have- but we decided not to. Then we ordered. We were promised that we would have our gear about two weeks later on a Friday. We called over and over asking why it was late, and an employee named Stetson promised they were almost there. Come to find out, HE NEVER ORDERED OUR STUFF. Another employee, Jess, called us and told us she personally would be handling it. She came out to our high school and she talked to our coach about some deals she could make- we believed the nightmare was over. Oh no, it was just about to start. She offered us deals and we accepted. And then we waited. And waited. And waited. We contacted the company, each athlete individually, we wanted the stuff we ordered. The sport season was coming to a close- and we find out that the boys hood that we ordered didnt exist anymore. They chose different ones for us. So we waited even longer, with state approaching. Jess would not answer phone calls or emails. We called the company to contact her as well, and got nothing. Soon enough stuff arrived, but only small amounts of it did. They assured us that we would get our remaining items- sweatpants and the coaches tees. We kept waiting. Nobody was answering the phone. Nobody was contacting us. Region came and went with no sign of the sweatpants or the Tees. Then Jess FINALLY contacts us to tell us that theyve been out of stock for months on the sweatpants- something that SHOULD HAVE been checked when they told us they were the sweatpants we could order on our site. Still nothing about the coaches shirts- until we were actually sitting at state. We didnt even get them then- just heard where they were at in the process of getting them to us. They finally got them a week after the season closed- making them just another T shirt in their closets. For those of you who dont know, a track season at our school lasts from JANUARY TO MAY. This was a complete and total nightmare for the coaches, captains, athletes, and parents. The customer service was terrible, the employees refused communication when all we wanted was to know when we were getting our stuff. The quality was okay, some seams on my BRAND NEW shirts ripped. I never got my sweatpants, my clothes came months late. The coaches were stressed because the parents were stressed and the athletes were stressed and it was a whole mess. Payson High Track will not be ordering from you anytime soon and I doubt any other Payson sports will- they all heard about the nightmare. Im sure its a great sporting goods store, but if youre going to order custom items or even order at all, I strongly suggest doing it somewhere else.

Ive been a longtime customer with Universal Athletics and have found their in stock items to be fine. However, when ordering specific items like shoulder pads or helmets you should go somewhere else. They were not willing or able to properly fit my son for shoulder pads last year (I had to go to the U and get with the equipment manager to do this) and this year struggled to get the correct helmet size and when it did come it didnt fit correctly. My biggest concern is the extremely poor customer service and a complete unwillingness to help resolve a problem while spending hundreds of dollars on an item (i.e.- walking away and not coming back saying "I dont know what to tell you" or ordering shoulder pads without even fitting him. When I have reached out to the store manager, he hasnt even taken the time to return a call. As a result of their poor customer service I will never go there again. They have taken for granted the individual customer and really focus on "team sales." You should try Academy Sports for individual attention.

I have placed an online order from Universal Athletic more than two months ago for track gear for my sons high school track team. We are STILL waiting, after two months, for the uniform/clothing to arrive. In the meantime, my son borrows from other track runners, their uniform, when he competes. Ive called the company, they say the items are "backordered" and "when they arrive" the items still need to be sent in to have the printing applied, which will add another week. The track season is about over and items wont be received until after the track season ends. Universal Athletic took my money right away when order was placed, more than two months ago, but conveniently state on their receipt "no returns, no refunds" and to "please allow delivery until April 17, 2017", well, today is May 2017. Poor business actions! SHAME ON YOU UNIVERSAL ATHLETIC!!!

Our car got broken into and they took everything in it including my sons jerseys. I called to order a new set of the jersey and was told it would be ready before the following weekend. At least three weeks later and still no jersey. Completely ridiculous and now no jersey with an upset 8 year old who had his jersey stolen...thank you Universal Athletics!!

Knowledge and service are top notch. I really enjoy these guys and gals at Universal and will continue using them for t shirts, jackets, hats and other equipment for our Crossfit facility. Also a great selection of Crossfit shoes, lifters and clothes... not to mention the stance socks!

They have the contract for MHS wrestling uniforms. We are two thirds through the season and the wrestlers still dont have there uniforms. If the contract it would have been through academy sports , the team would have had their uniforms way before now.

Universal athletic is a great and wonderful athletic store! They have everything from gloves and socks to helmets and letterman jackets! Wonderful place for every level of the game! Also great for sports teams to order through!
