On Wednesday, July 23, 2016 at 4:00, we came into the office beacuse we try to get our 5 dollars back from a broken pepsi vending machine as directed by the pepsi customer service. we walked in to the manager office, explain the situation to the lady(forgot to get her name). She said she can only give us $1.50, I explained to her we talked to pepsi and they told us to come and get the money from the manager office. Then, the lady started to tell me this" I DONT KNOW IF YOU REALLY PUT FIVE DOLLARS OR TEN DOLLARS IN, ANYBODY CAN COME IN AND TELL ME THEY PUT FIVE DOLLARS IN." (at least three times). And she say she is autorized to only give $1.50. But because she doesnt have $0.50 so she gave us $2.00. We took the $2.00. But I start to get mad and upset by her attitude, money is not the point here now. I called pepsi again and the Vending Sales manager said he doesnt understand why wouldnt she gaive my money back because they will pay the manager office (the agreement in between them). he is gonna call and talk to the lady. So I walked back into the Mall Manager office again. The lady told me "oh! he didnt tell me to give the five dollars back, he said they will come back tomorrow to see if there is 5.00 in there." "It‘s only three dollars!!!!, if you are happy to walk away the three dollars I will give you the three dollars". To the Manager Office front desk lady, 1. You are saying " I dont trust what you told me", "you are lying" by keep saying I DONT KNOW IF YOU REALLY PUT FIVE DOLLARS OR TEN DOLLARS IN, ANYBODY CAN COME IN AND TELL ME THEY PUT FIVE DOLLARS IN. 2. And with your "right" you are only "authorized" to pay 1.50 but because you dont have 0.50 so you paid 2.00 so as customer I should feel lucky for it! And now because I fight for it, you can pay 3.00 to make me walk away. This only tells me, this is how yiu procedure and authorized to do: 1.you walked in to the office, you get $1.50 2.if you are lucky, you get 2.00 when she doesnt have coin. 3. if you fight for it you can 5.00 It‘s not about the money here now, it is about your attitude, it‘s the way how you take care and handle the problem. You should ask which machine was broken to put a broken sign not just startinf being so suspecious about I am lying or not. So I highly sugessted you get more training for customer serverce. To pepsi: if you cannot help solve the problem by the number they provide on the vending machine they should put a note "PLEASE USE IT AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!" ONCE AGAIN, IT‘S NOT BECAUSE OF MONEY! IT‘S THE WAY HOW TO TAKE CARE AND HANDLE PROBLEMS!!!!!!

The newgate mall manager is a total power hungry jerk. I used to work at the mall and he terminated the stores license for no reason what so ever. I worked at the slower end of the mall ,so the owner of the store i worked at had asked the mall manager once or twice for some help. such as moving to a different location in the mall. The mall manager basically said there is nothing he could do to help even though there were about 5 empty locations in the mall He was never willing to help the owners with anything and he would always just brush them off. The owners had also tried to get a meeting with him and the mall manager re-scheduled the meeting at least 3 time before they actually got to talk to him. When the owners were in the process of looking for a location in the newgate mall they were lied to about the location they chose. I know there were a few other stores in the mall who have closed because they have had problems with the mall manager. Hes just a horrible selfish business person who deserves to lose his job.

This place is homophobic, and Ive completely lost interest in even bothering with trying to find something good here. My boyfriend and I were sitting, holding hands, and occasionally turning our heads to peck eachother, nothing "too gross" or "horrible", and an old security guard came over and started chewing us out for our small kisses, saying pda is against their store policy? He even stood there and stared at us after we said "okay, well stop" silently pleading for him to leave, because he made us really uncomfortable and didnt feel safe at all. I think thats b.s. as I myself have seen straight couples act even more raunchy than what we were doing, and nobody saying anything. Would give no stars if I could. Im completely repulsed by this place, and dont feel welcomed at all.

I love the mall in general. However the other day while I was walking through the mall with my fiance one of the Kiosk employees came up to me and started asking me "what is wrong with my face" (I have acne) and stated suggesting ways to "fix it" and "maybe Ill look beautiful after he is done with me". My fiance told him to leave me alone and he said "Im just saying what youve obviously neglected to. Her face is awful, and I have just the thing to fix it". He is the first one to be rude but most of the Kiosk owners are pushy and in your face.

Went in to see how much it would cost me to fix my phone that wasnt holding a charge anymore. The repair tech took it, looked at it, tested it, and got it charged so it would turn on. Told us we need a new battery but otherwise the phone was fine. He didnt charge us and he admitted that its not a phone they repair but he did it anyways because it was pretty simple. Next case or headphones I need Im getting it through these guys.

Used to be a better mall ten or fifteen years ago. I went back the other day with some friends though and the place creeped us all out. A lot of vacancies throughout and the stores that are still there have kind of fallen out of shape as well. The theater seems to be the nicest thing still operating, so there is that for film fans, but for most other people I would recommend driving down to Layton Hills

If your looking fir young teenager type clothes or shoes than shop here. It is catering to this group. Little else for other shoppers. It seems malls are not the thing now days. Empty shops limit selections things average shoppers dont need. If Sears closed than it could be a blow to the mall. I go only once or twice a year. Anything I find there I could get online cheaper.

Really Cool mall! Great places to shop! Movie theater inside! Awesome in everyway except very very Bad food though! Just dont buy food here all of the food places are off branded and gross. However there is a place called bobs burgers which as hilarious as that is. Food and service is as mediocre as the show predicts. So I guess they fit the part! Haha
