DO NOT buy baby chicks from IFA. We bought a couple of hens in the spring, but ended up with a rooster. After doing some research, we found out this happens frequently to people who buy from IFA. They dont guarantee you are getting hens and told us to post the roosters on KSL. This is heartbreaking since we raised the chicks from babies, spent lots of money at IFA to get them set up, and got attached to them. Do yourself a favor and purchase your chicks from local farmers when theyre a few months old. Theyre friendly and adjust easily to your home environment. We learned from experience.

Terrible customer service. Called in to see if they have a product. The girl who answered would not go check. I would have been happy to wait until she had time. I live quite a ways away, need an antibiotic for a sick animal and for me to drive in just to see if they have it is not a possibility. I had to prompt the girl to try and get a firmer answer and she finally said she would check when she had a free minute and call me back. In the end she never called me back. Will not be shopping here again, ever!!!!

Janee, August 2011. Ive been to this store twice with many questions about lawn care. At both visits I found the employees very knowlegable and helpful. They were also extremely willing to look up odd information that you would not typically know about different species of trees, safe elevations, what type of bore might harm certain plants, etc. Also great prices on closeout trees.

IFA is the best location for fertilizer. The help is sometimes sparce because the few employees are working. They take a break to help customers. They helped me rid the yard of vols. I was paying to have a company fertilize my yard. They could almost kill my lawn with one application. I switched to IFA and my lawn is green with no weeds and it has never gone yellow.

I went to this store looking for a great fertilizer for my grass and was very satisfied with the customer service I got and the product has performed very well. I highly recommend their fertilizer if you are looking for something that is going to make your lawn beautiful!

I love coming here for feed for my animals but spring time is disgusting when they have their baby chicks and bunnies. They do not care about their well being or how they house them. I would never buy their chicks here. Maybe they will get the hint and stop having them!

These gals have impeccable knowledge of animals .. I have been in here instead of going to the vet for every little thing they have never mislead or given me bad advise ever.. Just down to earth and I love this place....

The staff are extremely friendly and very accommodating! It is an enjoyable place to stop in and get what you need. And i love seeing the tiny little newbies. ...ie chicks, goslings, bunnies, duckies....

Got transferred several times and then hung up on. The girls on the phone are worthless at customer service. Why even pick up the phone if you dont know how to talk to customers??

I go every year for seeds for corn and peas, and starts for tomatoes, cantaloupe, etc. ive always had excellent service and my plans have been top notch.
