Wow! Thats what really sums up my experience with iQue in American Fork. Heres what happened. I went on a 5 week road trip across the USA with my family. Its been a dream of mine for decades, it took a whole year to plan and we have 5 kids so it was pretty crazy. I took pictures like a true mother of everything. Heres the part in embarrassed about, I also had a years worth of pictures on my phone too NOT backed up or saved to the Cloud in 58 weeks. I kept getting the reminder to do it and just kept putting it off for a whole year. I know so dumb! Well, the last week of our trip I accidentally closed the van door on my phone bending the top 1.5 inch at a 25 degree angle. It was seriously BROKEN. I went to Apple they couldnt help, they gave me a list of 5 data recovery experts and I got quotes from $500-$1750 to retrieve the data and pictures. My husband suggested to iQue and to take it to them and see. So I did. Well, they did it. It didnt cost me anything more than just my plan with them. Jonah and Alex were the two guys that helped me out and I seriously cant explain enough how awesome they are, not just with customer service but just really nice guys. When I came back with the new phone to put my backup on and saw that ALL my pictures had been restored I couldnt help but cry and Jonah (sorry buddy Im spilling the beans here) cried with me too. I know it sounds silly maybe, but its awesome and these guys are awesome! So super long story short these guys are miracle workers, super nice, so humble, and dont gouge you a $1000 because youre sad and desperate and helpless. They just help and dont try to take advantage of the situation where honestly all the other places I called did. Love them!

Maybe Im the 1 in 100, but I did not receive the same overall outstanding service that the other reviews portray, which was disappointing. First off, their quality of work was great and they did it really fast, which I was thankful for, but the communication between their own staff and between them and me, the customer, was horrible. If you want to read the story see below. Just be sure to GET EVERYTHING WRITTEN DOWN THAT YOURE GETTING DONE WITH PRICES! I had to get a data transfer from one computer to another. My new computer didnt have as much hard drive, so i was told they would transfer all the data they could to the new computer and then put whatever data that was left over to an external hard drive that I provided. 1 total full transfer. When i picked up the computer they told me that everything was transferred except the videos and music, so I gave them my external hard drive to transfer the rest of the data to complete 1 full transfer. When I went to pick it they charged me an extra ~$50 because they did another full data transfer instead of just doing the videos and music. When I asked them why I was charged they said that it was 2 data transfers (not what we agreed on). Then they said that all the data was actually transferred to my computer including video and music, which it was not. Eventually they refunded the amount back, but would not accept responsibility for them not knowing what they were doing. Basically, it was a lot of he said she said, and break down of communication that lead to me being overcharged and extremely frustrated. They said one thing, then did another, then said they did another thing, but didnt, and charged me for another thing. Ridiculous.

HORRIBLE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. They are a bunch of mosquitoes for money. My wife accidentally dropped our iPad and shattered the glass. Since iQue was nearby, we decided to have them fix it. They promised a same-day repair and a call back to let us know when it was ready. We received neither. I picked the iPad up the next day and noticed that the new cover seemed somewhat loose. The home button wasnt functioning very well either. I would have to push it as much as 5 times before it would react. Two days after getting it fixed, the upper-left corner of the flimsy case they put on the iPad had chipped. Since they told me that I had a 30-day warranty. When I went to get my flimsy cover fixed, they told me that it wasnt covered in the 30-day warranty. It is much more worth while to pay Apple to replace the iPad. Pay a little more and have a much better experience. Dont feed into their "warranty" crap. You can pay something like $30 - $80 to cover your products, but there is still a deductible. Not worth it! Buy new and get Apple Care. Theyll just try to bleed cash from you.

iQue Repair provides excellent customer support and good prices for iPhone fixes. In a world where a functioning smartphone is an essential tool for many, their services are a more wallet-friendly alternative to their competitors (or to replacement). Both times I have visited, however, they did not contact me or the person I had with me after the phone was fixed (we went in to check and found out that the repair was complete), and I did have to go in the second time due to a defective screen that they installed (which they explained to me is rare, so this will more than likely not happen to the majority of their customers). Despite the issues with contacting me, however, their best feature easily remains their customer service; not only did they try to accommodate a repair pickup by offering to meet with me somewhere other than their store (which I find very impressive), they explained what they did for the repair in a way that both I (a tech guru) and my girlfriend (less so) could understand. I would overall recommend iQue to anyone being an iPhone repair for a good price.

Im not usually one to write a review but my experience was not a great one. I took my Iphone in to get the screen fixed and it looks great. But when I went to pay for it it was twice as much as I thought it would be. When I dropped off my phone the guy was really nice and he started asking me which package I wanted. He mentioned the tempered glass and I assumed he was just talking about the normal screen replacement, so when he asked if i wanted the $80 package or the $100 dollar package I chose the less expensive one. He never mentioned that it was another $130 just to fix the screen. I may have misunderstood what he was saying but I felt like I was tricked into spending more than I thought I would be. When I told the sales guy that was ringing me up(he was a different guy than the original) what had happened he said there was nothing he could do and I paid the full amount. Its a dishonest way to run a business and it would be better if all the charges were explained more fully before they were made.

I took my wifes iPad 2 in to have the screen replaced. (It was not broken, just very scratched.) The replacement screen looked great. After getting the iPad home, we were having trouble with the home button responding--unless you pressed it with a bit of force. (Something that was not happening before I took it in for repair.) I took it back to the store three more times, trying to fix the home button issue (post screen replacement). Ultimately, I was taken care of and the three gentlemen I dealt with were kind and friendly. They, also, made it up to me for having to return to their store a few times, to get the repair right. iQue made sure that I was satisfied. So far, so good. PROs: Less expensive (compared to Apple), closer than an Apple store, quick turnaround (sometimes less than an hour) CONs: Must give unlock code (Im not sure if this is just some or all devices / repairs)... may want to backup and reset device before taking it in.
