Pros: Fair prices, good selection/variety, clothes were not dated & all were in excellent shape, rewards club seems to make it fairly easy to earn rewards, friendly staff, great organization in the store, offers men & womens clothing. Cons: Staff was not 100% attentive; when I went to try some clothes on, no one was attending the dressing room/noticed that I had needed to try things on while I awkwardly looked around for help. A staff member also knocked on my dressing room door while I was changing, and, after I said I was in there, proceeded to unlock and open the door anyway (maybe I didnt speak loud enough?). It also took a bit for them to realize that I was ready to check out when I approached the counter. When I checked out, I let the cashier know that I wanted to use the offer I had earned by signing up for text messages & emails on the iPad up front, but after looking at the iPad, she didnt apply my $3 off to the order. I ended up catching the mistake before I left, and another staff member corrected the mistake for me. Conclusion: All things considered, I will definitely return to this place to shop for clothes in the future. I bought 3 dresses for about $30 (brands were Nordstrom, Banana Republic, & Cynthia Rowley). 2 of those 3 were marked down, and I know if I had bought them new, I would have paid over $100 for them. I liked how the store was organized, and I found many things that I wanted to try on quickly. The only drawback is that I have to be vocal about what I need, and I definitely will have to feel as if Im inconveniencing the staff to get what I need (they all were working very hard, to be fair). All in all, a fair price to pay for great clothing at excellent prices.

I can only leave one star! And I can barely leave that. I am from Washington state and I heard that Uptown Cheapskate was a wonderful place to shop. I walked into the store and overheard an employee state that everything was 15% off in the store. Hey... Thats awesome! I shopped and collected a hefty pile of clothes... At least $200 worth. As I began to check out the little girl at the counter started asking for all my personal information, but I didnt want to give it all to her because Im from out of state and wouldnt be back. Then I said to her "I heard you say that everything is 15% off." She and another employee snidely looked at each other, then looked at me and told me..."thats only for people who will give us all their information." WOW! Really? Apparently this store is doing so well they can afford to treat customers so poorly! Needless to say I left the pile of clothes sitting right on the counter and walked out. $200 the store almost had right down the drain... Poof! Terrible employees and poor, poor customer service! In this day and age when electronic identity theft is so rampant why do we have to lay bare all of our personal information?? Its a big thumbs down to Uptown Cheapskate! This store wont be open long!

Uptown is a really great place to shop. I always feel like I find the best deals when I go here. I also get way more for my clothes. TIP: Its a less frustrating experience if you dont try to sell sweaters and boots in April and dont try to sell shorts and tanks in October. They obviously want things they can sell right away. They have really high standards for what they buy, but they pay more for those things. I have purchased countless items from Uptown and will continue to do so.

This was my first visit to this location and I loved it! They had a huge supply of brand new clothing and their collection of used clothing was very well curated. I walked out with a brand new pair of suede and shearling Emu boots for $30 and several beautifully cared for used sweaters from Anthropologie. I wish I could remember the name of the saleswoman who helped my. She was an absolute delight and did her best to assist in any way possible.

Literally just walked out of the store after shopping there for the first time and was so unimpressed with their customer service. Not willing to satisfy their customers. Find another thrift store. I am hoping that this review will show this new Uptown Cheapskate how important customer service is to the integrity of a business; hopefully theyll treat future customers with more respect and less of a condescending overtone.

I love Uptown Cheapskate! They always have something I want, and they have so much to choose from. They take good care of all the clothes. The first time I went, I couldnt tell it was a secondhand store. The customer service is exallent. They are always willing to help out any way they can. I also love the prices on their clothes. It is cheap and offordable. I highly recommend coming here for shopping.

I love this place because the clothes are SO cute, but I bought some used earrings there a week or two ago and have since gotten a horrible infection in both of my ears. I am not allergic to any metals, so I know it is just from these earrings. They need to be a lot more careful about selling used earrings and making sure they are sanitized before they put them out on the floor.

Went in here on a whim. Was so impressed with the quality of the clothes for the prices!!!!! I loved it and now want to hit up every location they have! I got some madewell jeans for 15.00!!! They are my new favorite jeans. I also saw a j.crew shirt there that I nearly bought for 60$ at j.crew last week. I got it here for 12.00. Friendly staff. Very clean.

Ive been in this Uptown location a couple of times, and Ive walked out with a few things each time! They almost always have some type of promotion going on, which is nice. The employees keep to themselves mostly, but I prefer to shop on my own anyway... I will continue to check in from time to time and see what I can find!

Nice people... took three bags full of clothes in there and they only gave us $11 worth... wouldnt take stuff there probably again waste of time but then again I cant say that this stuff we had maybe is what they were looking for but I know most of it was brand new type clothes purchase within the last 5 years

Great selection of adult men and womens clothing. The prices were surprisingly reasonable and the staff was helpful and friendly. It was my first experience in a secondhand shop that actually left me wanting to come back. As a side note, they also sell new items and buy gently used items from you.

Love going here and finding hidden gems. Lots of good clothing options for cheap. Clothes are lightly worn, and for the most part youll think they are new. Its hard to buy clothes at retail prices, after youve seen you can get the same stuff (just very lightly worn) for like 80% off.

Seriously love this place! Every time I go, I find many new items to freshen up my wardrobe. Great prices, great loyalty card (get stamps for buying and selling), and high quality items. I highly recommend Uptown, especially in comparison to cheaper competitors.
