Worst experience ever. On Jan. 04 2011 I went into this store for a exam and glasses. It has been the most unprofessional experience I have ever had and my total cost was $662..32 out of pocket. For his kind of money I would expect much much more and in the very least to get what I paid for.. During the exam I was told I need TRIFOCALS-I asked the DR if that would restrict the choices I had in frames - she said no. I spent 30 minutes picking out the frames I wanted and upon sitting with the tech. I was told the frames I picked would not work for trifocals to pick a diff. pair. This was disappointment #1 in a whole series of them by this store and its employees. I picked out a new pair and when I went to pay the tech could not figure out how to enter the order. He decided to just charge my card and complete the order later. I was uneasy about letting him charge my card without a invoice so I asked him to write on the back of the receipt what I was paying for. I still have the receipt and in YOUR employees handwriting I have. QUOTE 1.Transitions 2.Trifocals 3.Frame 4.A/R coating 5. Polycarbonate Lenses 6. Sean John frames He charged my card $265.00. I left and 30 minutes later I received a call that said they made a error and the order was going to be a additional $265.00. We agreed for me to pay it when I picked up the glasses. I was told in a week to 10 days. On Jan. 14th I called and was told (by a woman) the first time the lenses came in from the LAB they were chipped and they had to re-order them like some lab somewhere else caused it. The following week I received a call from the original tech (a young man) and he said I needed to come in and pick out different frames because HE was chipping them trying to get them to fit the frames and that the frames I picked would not work with the lenses I picked. Needless to say I was upset. He said if I paid extra for polycarbonate lenses he may be able to get them to work- I was not happy but I said OK I would pay extra. After I hung up I checked my receipt only to find the same guy had written "polycarbonate lenses" ON MY ORIGINAL RECEIPT. THIS MEANS IF he would have just ordered the correct lenses from the beg. none of it would have happened and they would not have had to reorder them 3-4 times. On Jan. 29th he called and said they were ready. I went to pick them up and was charged a ADDITIONAL 30.00 for polycarbonate lenses (which I was originally told would be included for $265.00) So now my total escalated to $723. I now have NO confidence in them or the glasses. When I wear them I do not feel that the trifocals were done properly - they are too high on the lenses - I have to wear them out away from my face in order to see out of them properly, otherwise I am looking out the magnified part BUT this gets even better - when I left and got into the sun the TRANSITIONS LENSES DID NOT WORK. I took them back inside and was told they were wrong and had to be re-ordered. Not once has the staff apologized or even acknowledged the circus of errors this had been. This has been the worst experience EVER. 700 dollars and a month later and I still do not have what I ordered. Considering what I paid them - I should be able to expect the utmost quality and professionalism and instead I dont even want to go back in that store to pick up the correct lenses. I am considering disputing the whole amount with my bank. I am very unsatisfied. Whats worse is while the employees were nice and pleasant - none of them informed the DR of the mess they had made and not one of the employees offered any sympathy or compensation for the complete mess they made of this order. It is Jan. 31st and I still, do not have the glasses that I ordered, they have promised to fix the problem but at this point just giving me the glasses I ordered will not really make up for everything I went through - considering the total cost $723.95. I have never spent so much money on something and had such poor service and so many problems. Yes I am upset but this is not exaggerated. 100% true. Unbelievable.

Watch out for Bipolar Dr. Tammi Ill make this short and sweet (unlike my experience at this store) Went to this location for exam/contact fitting and the exam initially went fine. She gave me a trial pair of contacts and I informed her that the right eye was blurry. Her response was "Your eye just needs to adjust, wait a couple minutes". I said "OK" and waited. Five minutes later, still blurry. I told her assistant and she informed me she would be right with me. 45 minutes later...the Dr. came back in a very rude and cold demeanor after I told her how long I waited and now I was late for another Dr. appointment I had that day. She then informed me that the reason for the contacts being blurry was due to the prescription being wrong because they didnt have my lenses which was never told to me in the beginning. I told her she never informed me of this to which she snapped back and said "Yes, I did". She never apologized about making me wait and then still wanted her $125 for the exam and fitting even after I STILL CANT SEE ANYTHING out of my right eye! I told her that I would pay it, but dispute it with my bank to which she told her staff to "Rip up his prescription and cancel his contacts". Then I asked for the manager and they told me she is the owner! Unbelievable...I wasted over two hours for NOTHING. Went to Target Optical and paid $65 for the exam and fitting! Yes you read right, $65! Please read other reviews about her unprofessional attitude and rude service, seriously I am not the only one. She needs her franchise revoked. DO NOT GO!

Stay away from this office! Very rude staff and a temperamental doctor. I had to come back because my prescription was off on my right eye. During the re-exam the doctor got frustrated when I complained that the image through the phoropter was blurry while she insisted it was the right prescription. She then forcibly grabbed my hand and said, "Here, you do it!", and made me adjust the instrument myself! I was shocked! I The entire staff is rude and very arrogant at this office. Btw, the prescription is still off!

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE. After our appointment, we will no longer use this location. I would suggest you hire staff that knows how to verify insurance prior to your customers going into the office. WHAT HAPPEN TO THE OLD STAFF, GET THEM BACK…... Customer services is key to having a successful business. I’ve been going to this location for years and NEVER have I’ve gone through this. DR.s are great, but the service ladies need to go!!!!!

Visiting from out of town, and my glasses broke. We just happened to be going by this store, and I stopped in to see if they could help me out. They not only replaced the missing part, but the corrected the earpiece, cleaned the lenses, and confirmed that they still fit on my face properly, but they did it all fore free! I have never worked with Pearle Vision before, but I appreciate the time they took to help me out.
