Helpful Sales very kind and good with people. The problem I have is with their services in the back I gave them my car to get my car reprogrammed they knew since a week ago and told me it would be done Monday. I call on Monday to see how my car was doing and they said that the re-programmer hasnt shown up yet they told me it would be done by the end of the day. Its 6:30 still havent got a call back so I called myself, the guy tells me that the programmer didnt show up and he wont be there today but for sure Tuesday morning and they would call me back. Tuesday comes no call in the morning so I call myself and no re programmer again wait until Wednesday morning they will call me back. Wednesday morning comes around no call so I call myself noon hits still no phone call. I call them at noon the guy Chris who was doing the work for me was on lunch break, told me he will call me back around 2. Waiting and no phone call have to call myself once again he said it just needs to be test driven. Go at the end of the day but I was thinking why until the end of the day if they just need to test drive. So I show up at the shop told him I need the car by 4 for an interview they said for the test drive it will take a whole 2 hours how absurd just to test drive. So I tell him to give me the keys and I will just do that right now. Drive down the st and my car still does the same thing its been doing they had the car a week shouldnt it be fixed with all that time they already had the car??? so now its Thursday and they tell me its something electrical that they will have it done in the morning now it is 3:20 and still had to call myself to find out how the car is doing they said it probably wont be done till the end of the day. They said all they have to do is replace a connector I would think with all this time theyve had my car would be done. Really fed up with the car service in San Marcos. Ive had to re schedule three interviews and miss school for a whole week this is just wrong.

I am very frustrated and agitated with this place. First time around I got a mustang put in my whole paycheck for the down payment to then have the mustang 2010 turn off on me while Im driving back home on the highway! It hasnt even been a week that I had the vehicle. I missed a lot of days from work, took them almost a week so they can take a look at it and fix it to then turn around and tell me the car is no longer drive able since they cannot figure out whats wrong with it and the ford dealership said so to them the same thing. I lost my job because I had no reliable transportation or way back home to where I live in round rock. Only reason I knew about this place is because it is close by moms house and I needed to buy a car fast. The dealership Manager let me go ahead and pick a different vehicle 2002 Jeep I made sure it was the most affordable and older one so I wouldnt have complex difficulties like I did with the mustang and not even two complete weeks here we go again with the vehicle turning off. The dealership does not give you a rental car and does not give you your money back because of what the contract states. I am about to go back once again to the dealership and see what happens again when I have training I need to go to for the next two days. I will keep posting updates. Update: Im still having issues with my Jeep Cherokee. Seems like every other month or so I keep having to come in to do fixtures and since I live in Austin I go to the south location. Im really running out of options and this is really putting a hold on a lot of opportunities for me and my life. I get that vehicles are "as is" and are used but I do required maintenance and I dont neglect my car whatsoever. This vehicle and the last one that I owned for a week and a Mitsubishi Lancer that I tried are very worn down. There has been no other choices or help that I get from this location and I try to work with the others and all they do is transfer me. Worst experience ever.

These ppl are all lies I have had my car with them for three years ... first they didnt fixed what they said they would when I first got it ... then a year later told me I had to pay them to fixed anything in the car bit when I first got the vehicle they told me all I had to do was buy parts and the work would cost anything while under contract. Lies.. then when I got into a car wreck Jessica in financial told me not to make a claim with them to do it with the irl who hit me and she would put my account on hold ... two months later I get a call saying they are trying to repo my vehicle.... she didnt tell me the hold was just for the phone calls for making payments... meaning I still had to make payments.... these ppl are all lies and just want to make the most money .... dont get the car insurance if you do decide andake sure you get everything in writing... I wont ever trust this place ever again... after that I asked Jessica why didnt she tell me I still had to continue payments and she said that I would be the first person ever to continue after a wreck ... I told her that was not her choice to make for me .... so mad .. I hate this place ....

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Texas Auto Center! I bought my car from them last March and got a great deal trading my old car in. My grandfather and my sister bought vehicles from them on my recommendation. Then this week my car was having serious trouble with the charging system, so I took it in to TACs service center under the 24-month warranty they include on all vehicles they sell. They replaced my alternator, installed a new battery (the battery in my car is only accessible through the drivers wheel well, which is a huge pain!), replaced my spark plugs, and fixed an unrelated coolant problem Ive been having that I had forgotten to tell them about, all covered by the warranty. I just paid a $200 deductible (seriously a steal for how much work they did). I love my car, every employee Ive encountered has been polite and friendly, and I highly recommend them if youre considered getting a new car!

Oh Texas Auto Center!! I have nothing but great things to say about the San Marcos Location!! Bleu was beyond helpful from correspondence through text to in person deal making. Even after being harassed by an employee at the South Austin location, Bleu made me feel comfortable about doing business with this company. He did everything he could to get me into a vehicle and even the vehicle I wanted! I never felt pressured into anything, I was left at my own liberty to choose a vehicle. (Which is how car buying should be) I would recommend Bleu and this location to anyone looking for a vehicle!
