I highly recommend KUSTOM INK TATTOO in Port Aransas, Tx. ! I went in on Spring Break & they worked me in that night. Ben (one of the tattoo artist there) did two arrow tattoos around my ankle. I knew exactly what I wanted & Ben gave me some advise to make it better. So I left it up to him to do what he thought was best. He did an AMAZING job ! He worked really hard to make it just perfect & took the time to make sure it was what I wanted before he started. He spent a lot of time getting it just right. The staff was very professional & friendly. I really enjoyed the time I spent there. Ben did an OUTSTANDING job & I highly recommend him to do your tattoos. Everything he did was very sterile & clean & he even made sure I saw him cleaning & sterilizing his needles & equipment before he started. If you want a beautiful tattoo thats professionally done by an amazing & friendly staff, go to KUSTOM INK TATTOO !! Remember you get what you pay for ... so dont just go to any tattoo shop ... go to KUSTOM INK TATTOO !! Ive been to other tattoo shops that may be cheaper, but believe me they wont do the quality work that KUSTOM INK TATTOO does. Im from Austin, Tx. & I will always drive to Port Aransas & get my next tattoo to get the quality work they do. They use quality inks that wont fade or come off and their after care products are the BEST. They are very reasonably priced for the quality work they do. In fact after checking around, they were no more expensive than any other tattoo shop Ive been to. Any of the artist there are very qualified & professional. It will not only be an amazing experience, but you will be very happy with the outcome. Believe me, you wont be disappointed !! I cant wait to go back for my next tattoo !! All of the work I have gotten from Kustom Ink was done by Jeremy Anderson. An Incredibly Amazing artist and master piercer. All of my tattoos and piercings are Perfect freshly done as well as healed. Jeremy first did a butterfly cover up on my stomach. He made a amiture tattoo into a vibrant perfecty lined and shaded butterfly. The cover up was a 100% success : ) Next Jeremy did two chinese symbols on both sides of my chest. With very delicate Beautifully colored flowers beside each symbol. Then the most recent a Wonderfully Amazing sugar skull portrait! WoW my sugar skull portrait came out better then I could have ever imagined. He also did two piercings on me which I felt very little discomfort and they healed very fast. Jeremy has always been very polite, straight forward, and very considerate to my comfort. Always making sure I was doing okay. His work was always done in a very professional and timely manner. Jeremy is very understanding, patient, and willing to redraw as many times as it took to get my tattoo drawn exactly how I wanted it. I extremely love how after 30 days on all tattoos they do a free touch up. I went and got all my touch ups for each of my tattoos. Kustom Ink is one of the cleanest and prettiest shop I have ever been to. Great prices for Amazing Art! Nice Inviting Relaxed Environment Im so excited to go back and get a solar system going up my hole side from Jeremy next week. And a knife in the middle of my stomach from Jeremys apprentice Nate. There is a review a few pages down under my name that is a fake. :( its really sad because I would NEVER in my life say anything bad about Kustom Ink, Jeremy Anderson or Chris Kurtz his apprentice. The shop is amazing and the people who work in it are geniuses. Everyone who works there puts forth major time and effort to do things right for the clients and i have personally watched Jeremy Anderson Redraw as many times as the client likes to make sure it is exactly what they want to put on their body seen as how it is forever. Kustom Ink is very well run, very professional and very clean, the staff works well together and everyone seems to get along great making it an all and all great place to get a tattoo. Jeremy has done on my chest and my wrist and during each tattoo he did for me he made sure i was comfortable during the process and that everything was to my liking by the time i left the shop. they do great work. i would never say otherwise and seen as how google wont remove the post that was made with my name on it i figured id make a REAL post filled with my TRUE views on Kustom Ink and Jeremy Anderson, he is a very hard working man and cares a lot for his shop. His art definitely shows exactly that. i am VERY pleased with any tattoo or piercing i have gotten from this shop thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and rest assured your hard earned money will NOT be wasted by going to Kustom Ink, you will walk away with a smile, I know I did :)

Classy? Got to be joking! No wonder this shop has a high rating they only allow positive ones and delete the negative ones. My review disappeared shortly after posting so I am re-posting to share my negative experience.  My boyfriend and I had been entertaining getting tattoos. We saw this business owners huge banner advertising an henna tattoos and felt it would be the first step. Upon entering the store we met Aly. We inquired about getting henna tattoos and she stated they would last 1-2 weeks. Since we were on vacation we decided to get a relatively small one on each of our shoulders. She told us it would be $45 each. In about 5 minutes we were both complete. Watching her apply it, interestingly enough with felt tip pens.  This wasnt the traditional henna that was derived from a plant that I was familiar with, but figured they were in the know. A few hours later I noticed they were flaking off and after showering the next morning they both were almost gone. Face painters at carnivals do a better job than these guys!  We decided to stop by the shop and request at least 1/2 our money back. When we entered the store we began to explain and in a very belligerent way he (owner) offered to re-touch.  We told him we would just prefer to get some of our money back and he became agitated and in a "THUG" way demanded us to leave. If something should go wrong DONT expect this business owner to make it right! He would prefers to throw you out of his store.

If my review was based on how nice these folks appeared to be, they would get five stars *easy*, and based on their reviews and some of the designs we looked at while waiting in their shop, the tattoos are probably top-notch, however reconsider if you plan to go for a piercing. My daughter got one side of her lip pierced and ended up with two holes in her lip; the first needle went through in the wrong location. The piercer did not acknowledge her mistake to me - the parent, my daughter is a minor - she said not one word about it in fact I only found out as we were driving away from the shop. The woman piercer, (and owner), said that she was highly experienced, however it is now clear that she needs to go back to school to learn for one thing, about professionalism and ethics. When you make a mistake you own up to it in a professional manner, thats the behavior that was called for; not passing off shoddy negligent work and after-care instructions without a word of what shed just done - or of a possible discount, hello????? Wish wed gone to the other island shop. Kustom Ink charged us $40 for that disaster. Not Kooool, not even decent.
