i recently got a piercing here and it was done by cody i just recently found out that he isnt a professional piercer and this may be why ive been having a lot of pain in my two piercings that i got in my lip. also i wish char was still at this shop but can understand why she is not all of the men that were there working seemed to dislike her and voiced it openly to me, doesnt sway my opinion of char i continue to get work done by her because she is absolutely amazing. also the shop hours are innacurate i was waiting outside the shop for almost an hour after their opening time to get the piercings done in my lip. i have to say the experience i had was awful.

I got matching foot tattoos done by Matt, of wolf paws. Matt is EXTREMELY talented as an artist as well as a very professional tattoo artist and it also didnt hurt that he was actually a nice guy and talked to me while he did my tattoo. I spent a good 2-3 hours getting tattooed and it was worth every second. I have never loved how a tattoo turned out so much in my life!!! And I have several tattoos. They turned out so beautifully and are so detailed and exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend this shop!! I also highly recommend Matt as an artist!! And the shop was clean and sterile and my tattoo was reasonably priced.

Awesome expierience! Riley did my septum piercing she did a great job. She was very professional and clean. She knew exactly where to pierce it and it didnt hurt at all. I was extremely nervous and she made me feel so comfortable. Ive gotten a tattoo fixed there and two other tattoos from the artists there. I didnt know where to go to get the septum and I called around to other studios but I am extremely happy I went here because they took care of me. I will definitely go back for more tattoos and piercings. Also great prices cant go wrong with that!

Johnny Reaux is amazing. I got a tattoo on my butt and I was at ease the entire time. Not once did he make any inappropriate gestures or comments. He was beyond professional the entire time. And on top of everything the tattoo turned out phenomenal! Even though it was a small, simple tattoo he went the extra mile to make sure it was perfect and was placed and done the way I wanted it to be done. Hes the one Im going back to when Im getting my sleeve and every other tattoo after that! Hes awesome, I recommend him to everyone you wont be disappointed.

This by far the most beautiful tattoo Ive ever gotten. I had work done by Tommy Sturgis. After seeing his work online I knew this was the person I wanted. He tattooed a picture of my dog that past last year at Christmas. Tommy took the time to hear how important this tattoo was to me and we worked together to make the picture perfect. The entire staff was very friendly and the workstations are highly sanitary. I cant imagine having anyone else work on me from this point on.

Over aggressive artist. Nice guys in the shop, but my artwork sucks. Lots of raised scars and discoloration. Payton Womack was way too aggressive and inconsistent in his ink technique. Not sure if he had a bad day, but now I have a bad tattoo to show for it. Im sure they have some good artists there, but do your homework before you consider choosing and artist here "Tru Custom Tattoo". Now Ive got to spend more money correcting his off day.........

Everyone was super friendly! BUT DO NOT GET PIERCINGS!! Got my tongue pierced by Riley around 9pm and not even 12 hours later my tongue was three times the size and super infected. The whole entire bottom was filled with blood and puss keeps oozing out. I didnt eat anything else after it got done and did the mouth wash before I went to bed. This was not the first time Ive gottenever my tongue pierced so I know how to take care of it...

Its obvious that some of these 5 star customers that got work by so and so are the artist from the shop "sorry you cant deal with the pain. Havent been there but must say that its super shady they would pretend to be a us to me and then turn around d and say that. Seems like some very sensitive artist! Dont think Im going to waste my time.... just my opinion though.

Friendly, funny, great staff, I walked into another place near them and was looked at like I was crazy. These guys at TRU treated me AWESOME the moment I walked in. Crenshaw really took care of me, fun environment, what else can I say????? The job he did on my Tat is incredible. Def going back to get my other tattoo covered up and touched up. CHOOSE them.

Payton Cody and Crenshaw are amazing. I love this shop. Ive got close to 30 hours sitting for Payton for my leg and bicep. The shop is extremely clean. Shop staff is very professional and friendly. You wont find any of the "rock star tude" in this shop. I drive all the way in from Austin to go to Tru, and never regret it.

Great tattoo parlor. Extremely clean and the artists know their stuff. Char is awesome. This was actually the second tattoo parlor I checked out. The first wanted $300 -$375 to do my tattoo and couldnt get me in for another 4 days! Tru got me in that night and it only cost $100! The tattoo is amazing too. Great job Char!

On a whim a friend and I decided to get a tattoo. We found tru tattoo on Google and we were so glad we went there! Matt was absolutely fantastic with us- taking his time to sit down with us and make sure the art was something we were all happy with! Definitely would recommend this tattoo shop and Matt to anyone!

This shop is awesome. Great artist, great piercers, super friendly, and professional. I have 8 piercings from Cody, and my wife has two. All of them healed perfectly. Crenshaw, and Payton are top knotch tattooers. Always helpful and straight shooters. Never had any problems with any of my work from anyone there.

Ive gotten 4 pieces done by Travis and theyve all looked amazing. The line work is exceptional and the shading was on point. Every one of them looks just as amazing when theyve healed. All the artists are fun to be around and easy to laugh with. Definitely going to keep coming back for more.

had a tattoo done here recently, the lines are shaky, the color is uneven, its like the "artist" and i use that term loosely, had never done a tattoo before, now i have a huge piece of crap on me forever. way too aggressive and too deep. inexperienced and poor quality so i will never be back

I just got my first tattoo here from Al and he was great! I came in with an idea and he sketched up exactly what I wanted and put it on me in the same afternoon. It looks really good. He was fun to talk to and Im definitely going back for my next one.

Had my lip pierced by Cody. Then have been back for 3 tattoos by Cody as well! Of course your lip hurts- piercings heal like any other wound! Cody is amazing...sorry you cant handle the pain!! And Ill be back next week for another :)
