I brought a necklace in to be repaired that was given to me as a gift. It was a ring and necklace set. They told me it could take 3 days to repair or it could take 3 weeks....ok?? they called to let me know it was finally finished, only they gave me the chain in a small plastic bag but they had lost the stone? So I had to come back several days in a row to try to speak to differnt people there who might know where it might be? Ok?? No luck!! So they did agree to order a new stone for it....although cannot get back the sentimental value..I guess we have to deal with it..I would think they would take care of your valuables while in their care? Isnt that the business they are in? We are now waiting to get it in...again they say..could take 3 days or 3 weeks!! Unbelieveable! I asked the jeweler if he would like to look at the ring so he could make sure they match. He never looked at it...Well see if it matches....stay tuned

Took in my wedding ring to be sized. My husband picked it up for me without looking at it. When I put it on the center stone was now loose and one of the pave side stones was missing. I called back and they told me to just bring it back in. Funny you dont question me saying a stone was missing, guess that is because you knew when you sent it back to me. When I went to pick it up for the second time I was told by the jeweler he was surprised all the stones hasnt fallen out. I said ,well I have had the ring ten years and never had any issues. He replied Im surprised its so old and cheaply done. Are you kidding me? Beware of this place.

In the current world of mega chains, McKinney Gold & Diamond Exchange stands out not only as a small family owned business, but with their quality and service. They also have amazing prices for exceptioanl quality. Their selection of Estate pieces is amazing, and while Ive only browsed their diamond selection, its even more stunning. My husband bought his first Rolex there and is looking at another one. I never thought Id have "Jewelry Guys"! Never any high pressure sales strategy, just top-notch service, selection, quality and price.

Took my great grandmothers diamond ring in to be re-sized.The price was one of the reasons I picked Mckinney Gold and Diamond Exchange. Other places in area were charging more than I could afford right now. The two gentlemen who were running the store were very polite and nice. They did a great job re-sizing the ring from a size 10 to a size 5 1/2! Came back lovely and shiny. Im very happy with their work and will come back for my other ring re-sizings!! -Tegan D Lang

We purchased my wedding band and engagement rings from this store. We had a VERY modest budget and a very specific style! The sales clerk did not bat an Eye when I told her how little we had to spend. She guided me to the heirloom section. BINGO, Just what I was looking for and it was even less than our budget!
