Joel, As a Representative of Israel Diamond Supply, I will be addressing your inaccurate review. I would like to state the facts of your case to refresh your memory of you getting "screwed!" 1. You purchased a ring at a wholesale price and received follow up service for free at Israel Diamond Supply. (Documented) 2. The ring you purchased from Israel Diamond Supply and the bands that you purchased at a retail store were shipped back to you after free service was performed. UPS lost your package. (Documented) 3. You called and reported your loss to UPS and Israel Diamond Supply. Unfortunately, you had no personal insurance policy on the ring. (Documented) 4. However, Israel Diamond Supply, at its own expense, used their insurance to cover your loss. (Documented) 5. The average claim processing time from the insurance company takes 20-30 days. You commented on your review, “After getting screwed over for months by them.” However, UPS lost your package on 5-1-09 when no one was at the residence to receive and sign for the package. (Documented) Israel Diamond Supply replaced, and delivered the new ring on 6-13-09. (Documented) 6. There was a documented conversation between you and Israel Diamond Supply during that time. You believed that the insurance company was paying double the amount you paid based on the Retail Replacement value. Therefore, you wanted to benefit financially from that. (Documented) 7. Israel Diamond Supply explained that the insurance company does not replace merchandise based on the Retail appraisal when you paid Israel Diamond Supply a wholesale price. (Documented) 8. Israel Diamond Supply then provided a copy of the insurance check to you. It showed that, minus the deductible, it was less than your original purchase amount. (Documented) 9. Israel Diamond Supply gave you a BETTER DIAMOND than what you originally purchased at no additional expense to you. (Documented) 10. Also, Israel Diamond Supply paid you the retail price for the bands that were purchased from a retail store. (Documented) I find it very HURTFUL that you would make such allegations like you did on your review almost a year later, especially after all of the efforts and expense that we endured to take care of you in your time of need. When following the guidelines of the insurance companies in the state, the maximum requirement in case of a loss is to provide equal quality replacement merchandise, or the equivalent cash value of that quality. Israel Diamond Supply exceeded all of those requirements, even though Israel Diamond Supply did not lose your package. Mr. Joel, Israel Diamond Supply respectfully asks you not to harm the unsuspecting, and the innocent future clients of Israel Diamond Supply by giving false reviews. Please do not deny those people the same benefit you are enjoying from Israel Diamond Supply. Just in case among those future clients there may be an honest, respectable, and a reasonable Joel. It’s true what they say, “No good deed goes unpunished!”

When I came in this week I was sent by my husband to find a band for us to remember this season in life: a new baby girl in 6 weeks, Mothers Day, my birthday and our four year anniversary. I did walk away with a band, but also- a great story and deep respect from kindness shown to not only me, but my lifelong best friend, Jamilyn. Adel Nasreddine came out and greeted us. After finding out I was a teacher his gratefulness towards teachers and their hard work and sweet words of our conversation lifting his spirits, put a grin on my face that honestly hasnt left. The band he offered me at a much discounted price matched my custom made engagement ring that Israel Diamonds designed and made for us four years ago. I get compliments on my ring all the time, and now I will have a matching band that is just as beautiful. I felt like I was on Ellen because the surprises just kept coming. When I came back to buy the band I was shocked to find that the band he told me to take home to show my husband and decide if we wanted to buy was the real one (not a cubic zirconia) , he MUST really trust teachers, and then the blessings flowed to my best friend with a STUNNING necklace that she received yesterday. She called in total shock. Hardly able to believe that someone would be so kind and giving. She shared with me that when she wears the necklace it will remind her of my sweet new baby girl and a strangers generosity. And then, there was more. To my surprise he offered me an even further discount off the band, suggesting donating the difference to an animal shelter. On Monday, my little guy, Grey and I will be taking a field trip to The Humane Society to gift them with $100 per his great suggestion and thoughtfulness. This will not only be a fun experience for me to gift them, but for my son because he adores animals (always trying to hug and kiss them); one that we would not have thought to do beforehand. I have shared this story so many times with friends and family over the last few days, and all have told me stories of their great experiences at Israel Diamonds/stood in shock alongside me. Aside from this experience, my husband and I have always loved coming in to your store to look for rings and bands. We have purchased both my engagement ring, his wedding band as well as mine, and a band to remember the birth of our son 2 1/2 years ago. We appreciate the ability to try on rings without pressure or someone hovering, but also the information given to us when we do have questions. Your staff is friendly and happy, and very patient; not to mention knowledgeable and quick. Saying thank you doesnt seem like enough. We will continue purchasing jewelry through Israel Diamonds and I love that I will have a remarkable story to share with others when they notice this beautiful band. From this teacher, new mommy and customer, thank you for this sweet blessing.

IN SHORT: You wont find another jewelry store that will treat you more fairly and educate you thoroughly about what youre buying. Expect to save a lot of money by shopping here; and have your diamonds appraise for more than what you pay. I look forward to going back. Cannot speak highly enough of Israel Diamond Supply. Israel was recommended by a few friends of mine. I couldnt have been more pleased with the decision. I had the privilege of working with Adel and Lori together. They were exceedingly informative and had incredible customer service. We met for over an hour, and at no point were they tired of answering any question I had. Together they both taught me everything I could reasonably learn about diamonds. This time that they spent educating me on diamonds, is one of the many things that separates Israel from the main jewelry stores (Zales, Kay Jewelers, Gordons, etc). I had visited a few and they focused on what the diamond looked like, not any characteristics about the diamond or what made the diamond unique. The flaws of the diamonds that I saw in those stores, were not brought to my attention; whereas at Israel they were quick to ask what I saw and if I noticed this or that inclusion. They were not trying to hide anything about anything they showed me. Something that I loved about Israel was I had a budget and they kept me to it. They were very upfront about what I had to spend and not once did they suggest I spend outside my budget unless I suggested it. They brought several diamonds that fit within my budget and desired specifications and taught me how to look at the diamond. They allowed me to rank the diamonds, (to my great surprise, I had pegged them exactly right) and then told me everything about the diamonds. By the end of the visit, I would have tipped each of them every bit of the money that they had saved me. Since purchasing the diamond, my fiancé loves her ring. I spoke with Adel and Lori about making sure that I had received the right diamond (I was a bit paranoid) and they assured me and said if I had any questions they would gladly take a look at it. They also spent the time to explain how an appraisal and mapping wouldnt be able to see everything about the diamond if it had be set prior to the appraiser getting it. This was so reassuring, and Adel sent me a loupe to keep to make sure that I was pleased. I cannot wait to go back and buy a wedding band and introduce my fiancé to the incredible people at Israel. I assure you cant go wrong with going to Israel Diamond Supply.
