Honestly disappointed with the service provided at Orr/Lively Cadillac/GMC. Been there multiple times to get my oil changed (with an appointment) in my 2014 GMC Sierra SLT and always waited well over an hour, closer to 2 before they finished it up. Same with my girlfriends Cadillac ATS. The most disappointing experience was here recently when the right headlight on my girlfriends ATS started to fade. It was obvious there was a defect in the clear coat and after dropping by on a Saturday to get a new headlight ordered under warranty, i was informed I would be called back on Monday with a confirmation. Come Tuesday I called to check and was told the service manager was in a meeting and would receive a call back by the end of the day, so come Wednesday I decided to go back to the dealership where I was once again told the manager was in a meeting and would get a phone call by the end of the day. I left frustrated and again never received a call. So finally today (Thursday) I went back again and explained that it was ridiculous that the car has an obvious defect and that its taken so long to get the part ordered. I was then told "it was apparent there was some sort of wax on the headlight and that has to be inspected as it could have caused the clear coat to peel before we can order a new headlight." Now, I may appear to be naive since I am a young adult at 20 years old, but cars are my passion and I have been working on them since a young age, so i dont know if they think Im stupid but wax is applied to protect paint and clear coat, it does not ruin it; not only this, but no wax has been applied to the headlights to begin with. It was a good attempt at an excuse but I wasnt gonna except that. So after a 15 minute wait, I was finally told they would get the part ordered. Now the sad part is, this is a Cadillac dealership. I would expect this from a nissan dealership, but its quite sad that the service department is such a hassle when there are obvious defects or simple oil changes. I hope upper-management takes care of this issue before I start driving to Tyler or Dallas to get her car serviced. I am beyond pleased to have sold my Sierra and bought a 2015 F150 Platinum so I can go get quality service from JO Williams ford as once before when I had a 2015 Mustang GT and now only have to deal with 1 car at the Orr service department instead of 2.

WOW!!! How do we even start... the owner and staff at Lively are hands-down the BEST! We are owners of a Porsche, Audi, Mercedes...but never have we experienced the level of service that the Lively team provided. We THOUGHT we knew what service was until we met the Lively team. They re-defined our parameters of service! After experiencing a breakdown on I-20, we met the service mngr. at 7am on a Friday morning (New Years Eve). What should have taken several days to secure the parts just for the repair took them hours! They received parts from many different dealerships around DFW to complete the repairs. They went out of their way to make sure we could get back on the road in one day instead of 3-4 which we expected. Because we didnt think the parts were available in one day, they rented a car for our stay. Fortunately the repairs were completed in one day!!! You can not teach this level of service. It has to come from the heart. The owner Gordie, should be proud of his team Gordie, Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We owe you more than we will ever be able to return. The next new or used vehicle we purchase will be from your dealership. I hope others will purchase a car or use your service department so that they can experience the new (2011) level of service that your dealership provides. I dont think that the big town dealerships will ever be able to provide this level of service. Happy New Year and thanks again Lively.

In my recent research of franchise auto dealerships in Longview TX, I came across an interesting fact. Most local new car dealerships show up in a Gregg County judicial records search at least a few times, perhaps 2 to 5 consumer-related cases overall. Far and away, the most numerous cases have been racked up by the local Mitz***** dealership. However, Lively Cadillac has exactly ZERO cases for, or against, consumers. Thats right: A clean record. Thats pretty rare for auto dealerships. This speaks very well for the dealership. They either treat their customers well from the get-go, or, if there is a problem, they make it right. After my recent experience with one of those old-style high-pressure plaid-suit jokes of a dealership, you can bet that I will be sure and visit Lively the next time Im in the market for a vehicle. As I recall, they also seem to keep a very good supply of clean, late-model used vehicles of most every make, model, and style. (Smart, very smart.)

From the beginning of my car buying experience through finance and to the service department, everyone has always followed through with what they said they would do and that carries a lot of value with me. Ill definitely return to buy in the future and Ill continue to have my truck serviced here as well.
