Dear Hobby Lobby, I am extremely disappointed in the conduct I witnessed tonight in your Little Elm, TX store. I was shopping with my special needs two year old for Easter decorations when I overheard two employees make reference to "a retarded marketing person". They were disgruntled at the new layout or configuration of merchandise they were stocking and repeatedly used the word "retarded" in a derogatory manner and not in a manner that described an actual disability. As a parent of a special needs child I take it to heart when someone uses this term as an insult. I am thankful that because of my childs special needs he was not mentally or emotionally wounded by such an ignorant, insensitive individual. There will always be bullies in this world that I will give my all to protect him from but to experience this from adults that are screened, hired, and trained by a Christian company to work in a customer service position is truly unacceptable. I was so disgusted by your employees behaviour I called the manager on duty as soon as I got to my car. He was as apathetic as the offending employee was. He didnt even bother to apologize until I told him how disappointed I was in his reaction. His response was "Ok maam. I guess I can go chew them out for you". When I let him know I would contact Hobby Lobby Corp in hopes they were more sensitive to the situation he responded by saying "ok maam" and hanging up. As a Christian who has supported your business for many years I will reconsider before entering your establishment again. Your response to this situation will be indicative of whether Hobby Lobby is apathetic to individuals living with disabilities or if youve simply made extremely poor hiring decsions for management and hourly associates. I eagerly await your response.

I bought three items (2 identical wall hangings and one picture framed wall art) for the same price $29.99 each last week. Two of them were 50% and identical. The third one was charged full price. I took the third one to return to the Little ELm store which I happen to go that area today. They refunded me half price saying that it was 50% off last week. I told them I paid the full price. They said it was one of the 50% off items on my receipt. I told them I bought two identical items at 50% off so I knew it wasnt one of them. They didnt listen to me. After I drove 45 minutes home and found out I was indeed charged the full price for that item and called the store, they asked me to bring the other two identical wall hangings back for them to check. And I have to do so within a couple of hours before the manager leave for the day. I live 45 minutes away (one way) and I have two little kids. I told them I couldnt do that today. They told me I had to in order to get the refund. I was very disappointed!!! Why couldnt they make the receipt more descriptive so people know exactly which item is for which price??? Why I had to bring all of the items on the receipt back in order to receive refund on one item??? Either the first cashier over charged me or the returning cashier only gave me half refund. I certainly wont be able to go back today and they just robbed over $16 of me. By the way, the lady in front of me who was returning something left very unhappy. Now I know why!!!

My rating is one star too many for this store that is staffed by buffoons. A few days ago I bought 30 frames that were on sale for 50% off. Later I discovered some of the frames were the wrong size so I returned to the store to exchange them. The cashier rang up the replacement frames at full price and when I pointed out they were on sale she said the previous cashier had made a mistake. I mentioned the initial cashier had confirmed they were in fact on sale, the frames were still on sale in the newspaper and there were signs all over the frame department too. The cashier would not budge, so I said fine just process the return. By now a line is forming so I apologized to the people waiting and several said no..... I was right and I should call the manager. So the cashier calls James the manger. He is more of a rockhead than the cashier and seems befuddled by what happened but still refused to honor the sales price. As I left the register another customer says this happens all the time. They have so many SKUs in the store and so many sales there is ambiguity and confusion. Wont happen for me anymore as I choose not to do business with thieves, cheats and liars!

Wonderful store. I dont think there is a hobby not covered in this store. Sometimes the temperature in the store gets a little warm and the music is really slow. They use classical music sometimes and the piece itself is just extra slow so it can make me really sleepy and unproductive in the store. Otherwise, I love this place. They usually have what Im looking for and the staff is always friendly.

I have a love/hate relationship with Hobby Lobby. I love the shop and usually the employees are nice. VERY frustrating when it come to things on sale. I cannot tell you how many times I pick something up off a shelf that has a 50% off sign, get up to the register to pay only to find out this one item is not part of the sale. I find it misleading.

Huge selection of crafts, hobby items and home decor. Also a great place to go for Christmas wrapping paper and yes even though its only august, its already out to purchase along with Halloween and thanksgiving items.

So much craft supply and you can let your creative juices flow. Products expensive thats why given four star you need to use coupon so not a place to buy things in bulk
