Where we used to live... Walmart RULED... and was the best: in N. Dallas. The store in KVL where we now live is a complete nightmare. Each time we go there, I enter the store in a good mood and exit the store mad as Hell. They either discontinue the popular items we need or are out of stock. Not to mention the 10 cent (or more) price increase they pull on you daily. Furthermore, we always have to check our sales receipt to make sure we were not overcharged and (often) we are on an item or two. When theres a price mistake at the register its ALWAYS in Walmarts favor, never a lower price mistake benefiting the customer. Check out is a complete disaster. Self check out is insane: constantly having to have the busy clerk re-set the self check-out machine when it gives an error message when theres no error. My main complaint is the TOTAL lack of caring on the part of the employees. They are milling around doing NOTHING and avoiding eye contact w/the customer. If I ran my business as this Walmart does theirs. Id go broke in a week. Which is what I hope happens to this Walmart. HEB RULES here and is light years ahead of this pathetic store. I only go to this Walmart when I have to, for special items, then buy just exactly what I need and NO more. Lastly, every time we or I go to this Walmart I leave the store saying: Im NOT coming back here, again, EVER...

Do they hire anyone under 90 to work at this store? Waited in line for over 15 minutes before looking up and realizing that the poor old lady checking people out was looking through the sales ads in the news paper. There were 8 customers in front of me and another 4 behind me. Of course like usual, there were only 3 regluar lanes open yet plenty of employees working the "15 items of less" lanes. After switching to another lane and waiting another 15 minutes I noticed the even older checker at a stand still along with all her customers waiting on, Im asuming, a manager to come help...you know, the managers who like to walk around in circles talking to people and avoiding the stares from all the waiting customers...you know....because jumping on a register to help is so beneath them. Every time I go I end up having to check myself out at the self-check out lanes...NO MATTER HOW MUCH MERCHANDISE I HAVE. If I dont, Im sure Id be there until the end of time. From now on, I think Ill just go to HEB. If Ive got to do wal marts job every time I go there then they can put me on payroll.

The pharmacy pick-up section folks have bad attitudes, smell like cigarettes, and generally do not seem to care about helping you out. The pharmacy phone line is a joke (99% of the time you just get busy signals), the text alerts rarely work "Yeah, our system always has problems", and if they do, the pick-up people do not know about it. Line hoping from one line to another is common. "Your insurance company will not cover these" "How much are they?" "I dont know" "Could you find out?" "(rolls eyes).. No- You need to go back to the first line and ask them." sits in the first line again, sort it out, sit through the second line. "Your RX is not ready" "What? It was a few minutes ago when we spoke" "We took it back because your insurance did not cover it. It will be around 30 minutes to get it ready again." Exchanges like these are common. All around poor management and jaded workers. They just dont care anymore.

Typical walmart selection, but typical Wal-mart service. Went in for some fishing gear and parked and checked out by the garden center, which is near sporting goods. A customer checked out in front of us with a $270 mixed order. One cashier, a line six customers deep, two other Walmart associates past right next to the checkout, and none stopped to open another checkout (there were two checkstands possible). They simply looked at us and went about their menial tasks.

I went to the deli, just to ask a question about an antipasto. I was greeted with a large smile and wonderful attitude by Dina. At 7:42 a.m. she offered to retrieve any items they had prepped, and even offered to make any one I desired. I was wowed and totally pleased by her gesture of kindness while radiating a positive and comforting feeling. This girl needs to be in management. Hire more people like her Wal Mart :)

At last visit this store was dirty. The biggest complaint about this location is the empty spaces on shelves. Running out of merchandise at this store is more normal than not. Once a product is gone it takes days and sometimes weeks for the products to be restocked. At this time the shelves in the cat food section had large empty spaces. The store has been out of the most popular flavors for days.

Always open. They let me in last thanksgiving (or Christmas) when they tried to shut the doors twenty minutes before official closing time... after quite a fuss - so I forgive them. Generally, a good store where you can get almost anything someone in Kerrville needs (if Wal-Mart doesnt have it, go to Gibsons).

Walmart is a destroyer of small businesses. You are costing your county and city $2 every time you save $1 on your item = higher taxes = higher rents. Support local businesses and the staff at those local businesses, who will in turn hire ex-Wal-mart workers and pay better wages.

The carts need maintenance more often. When I visit the store it usually requires testing two or more carts to determine if the wheels roll smoothly and without pulling to one side. It is no fun to go around the store with a cart that is difficult to steer.

You never know what you will have. Might be a good day when shelves are stocked and their are cashiers....Then again, it may be the opposite. Ive never seen it bare shelves. If you live here, you will undoubtedly run into someone you know.

I slept in this Walmart parking lot as I was driving late at night. I saw lots of campers and other vans in the parking lot. I also found this car charger I needed for my phone for a good price. At a late hour, gotta love Walmart.

We have only been shopping there about 7 years never seen anything like listed above. The service is great and the products guaranteed fresh or return. We have nothing but good things to say about the store in Kerrville, Texas

They had four people working and there was four cars in front of me each needing a single tire repaired. It took them 70 minutes to fix all four flats meaning it took each techniction over an hour to fix a single tire.

Omg we can spend several hrs at a time just looking at things, running into someone we know and even talking with the employees that we have gotten to know... Most late night employees are a lil...strange...LMAO
