Ok, so I bought some contacts and some glasses last year around January, and the contacts ended up not fitting me. They didnt want to refund me for all the unopened packages. (By the way, EYEMASTERS does, theyre not as money hungry) and when I spoke to the doctor, he reluctantly did; it was like over $200 hundred dollars that I had paid with my flex. Well, they refunded it and many months passed by; so about September, I decided to give them another try. Like a dumbass, I bought a very expensive pair of Madonna-Versace prescribed sunglasses and another pair of transition prescription regular glasses. It was pretty expensive, but it didnt matter because again, my flex would pay for it. I didnt think much of it and the new year came by and it is now March 2011 and I go back to get another pair of regular sunglasses and reading glasses, and as Im about to make a payment, the receptionist and her assistant( which by the way, the receptionist acted like she couldnt be bothered with my presence, I was in the store about 45 minutes and was never greeted nor acknowledged, I was the one that had to make her go open the glass cases) decided to give me a message from their store manager stating “tell Mrs. Jordan that we will not be giving her anymore refund if she wants to do business with us". Ok, that would not have sounded so bad if the girl wasnt so condescending, and Im thinking, (.....you people have the nerve to wait until I purchase almost $500.00 in September, and WAS about to purchase another $450.00 to tell me this. Maybe its because they thought that I would not buy anything the time before, so why give me the message right? Or is because in January, it took 4 phone calls to get them to fax the MGIS FLEX people copies of my receipts? theyre merchandise is about the only OK thing there, but you can forget about customer service, dedication, and integrity, and the worst part of it is that the staff is all Hispanic, and its people like them that make the good ones look bad. Im Hispanic and sometimes am appalled by my own people. I love who I am, but dislike what the rest make us look like. If you want to be treated with respect and professionalism, DO NOT GO THERE, go to Eye Masters or Sears. Thanks for listening!

While my initial visit and exam was fine, things went down-hill after that. !st, when I went in after the 2 week waiting period, my glasses werent ready. In fact, they didnt even have a record of ordering them. They expedited the new order but it was still another week and an unnecessary visit. Next, the frames didnt fit very well and they had to fiddle with the nose pads quite a bit. This didnt seem important at the time, but turned out to be critical later. Several months later, one of the nose pads broke off with no effort at all, just daily wear. When I went to get a new pair, I was told there would be a $70 replacement fee. When I pointed out that it was probably their fault, they didnt seem to care. My $20 frames from Walgreens are still fine but not the $135 pair from Vielma. So stay away from Vielma Eyecare, I will be.

We have been going to Vielma Vision for years. For the most part its decent and my experience has been fine, up until today. We received a call from them about our glasses, so we went down there to pick them up. All but mine were ready. I was, and still am, very upset. I have been needing glasses for a while now but we never got the opportunity to get it down until last week, so I cant see very well with my current glasses. But for them to call us with the intention of letting us know our glasses were ready when, in fact, there was one missing and was just shipped out? Completely unprofessional. Why then call? Did they even check? The drive is long for us and its just an inconvenience. I am seriously unimpressed by this company.

Myself and my 2 boys came here after we lost our original doctor...who just kind of ran off and dr.veilma office took over there phones which was kind of weird...they said they.lost my records and I had to get a whole new contact exam even though I just got one 3 months ago.....my oldest son also wears contacts and his was supposed lost also....very unprofesional...the girls where the glasses are ..are very unprofessional almost ghetto...that was my first and last time my family will go there...we already found another doctor that we all love and are extremely helpful knowledgeable and the doctor is not trying to milk every penny out of you....

Old equipment. Outdated technology. After a 5 minute eye exam where Dr still uses the "Better 1, Better 2" method, I got the wrong prescription. I tried on the contacts and told him it was still fuzzy. He said "well we have to start somewhere" and told me to wear them for a week and come back if it didnt work for me. I dont have clear vision with my glasses or contacts. My prescription was wrong!!! We have to start somewhere? This isnt supposed to be trial and error until we get it right. Very inconvenient. Trying to schedule my 3rd trip to the see the Dr. It should be done right the first time.

The doctor that did the exam was great and was done for a good price. The glasses that they sell do not last. After three weeks they broke and I was only offered half off to replace them. Thats still $100, the same amount I paid after my insurance. Information about your prescription is withheld over the phone and has to be spoken about in person. TL;DR: Great doctor, great exam, expensive glasses that arent durable.

I have been going to Dr. Vielma for 4 years now and when I step in his office its like we are chatting like old friends and I only see him maybe once a year! The office staff is very knowledgeable and professional and I can not give enough kudos for their customer service! Dr. Vielma takes good care of my eyes and creates a wonderful environment that makes me comfortable.

My visit was AWESOME ! and Dr. Vielmas chair side manner is wonderful hes very professional as well as personable. Im even more excited to start wearing my first official pair of eye wear. Dr. Vielma and staff are wonderful. I appreciate the time and care they gave me when I was examined and fitted for contacts. I was so happy with the service that I brought my wife to them and had her eyes examined and had her fitted with glasses. They make sure everything is right before you leave. Great customer service!!!!!

I love this place. I love Dr. Vielma and his staff, so much so that after my first visit I got my sister, her husband, my husband and both my children to use them for their eye exams and glasses/contacts. Everyone is friendly and helpful and Dr Vielma is amazing with the kids. I recommend this place to everyone!

Went in to get my eye exam!! Doctor was very professional, and made me feel very comfortable! The staff was very nice and professional as well. Pretty much went in and out and I was done! I got my glasses very quickly! So overall very happy with my visit there, and will be going back next year!
