Horrible customer service. I called in about my transition glasses not working. I have been wear glasses my entire life, so I know how transitions work. I was informed to bring my glasses to be reviewed. One I got there it was 3 ladies at the front desk , I informed them that I was told to bring my glasses in to be looked at on why the glasses are not transitioning. I told them I have only had the glasses for 2 days but they havent changed once in the car, thats when one of the ladies got an attitude and stated that she has never heard of transitions working in the car, thats when I told her I have another pair that works in the car and thats when I was cut of and told that the company is not obligated to use the same brand of transitions that I have use in the past from another vendor. Meanwhile the 3rd lady is testing my glasses we are 10 minutes in and my glasses finally transitioned. I attempted to ask why does it take so long and I was yet again cut off by the 3 ladies holding a conversation about me while Im standing there "well everyone doesnt have to use the same brand" "well I just literally told her that a few seconds ago " " I have never heard of of transitions working in a car I cant believe that happened " it was almost as if they didnt enjoy the job of being in customer service. The neck rolling and trying to loud talk was uncalled for and I will not be spending any money with this place again. If customer service isnt your passion why take a job in customer service.

Update: No one at any time, offered me any trials. That is a lie and whoever told you that at the Cedar Hill location is a liar. If Vision City was so concerned about my eye health, why didnt the employee over the phone tell me to come in for an exam, or offer me trials. She just point black said she couldnt refill my prescription. I do appreciate the positive spin, but the facts of the matter are you decided to not honor a VALID prescription (which by law you are supposed to). The prescription wasnt expired and your employees choose to not help me, shame on Vision City. ---- Called in to pick up my last batch of contacts and they wouldnt fill in the prescription because it expired in a week. What kind of nonsense is this? It isnt expired and you are placing the order prior to the expiration date. Whats the big deal? I told them Id take my business elsewhere and hung up the phone.

I became a patient about a year ago. The first order of contacts took a few weeks and the staff was pretty nice. I recently got new vision coverage and thought I would go back. Boy what a mistake! I ordered 2 pair of glasses special order and after 3 or 4 week I didnt hear from them. I visited the office and they didnt have a clue on where my file was and what was the status of my order. After serveral visits I finally received one pair of my glasses and after two months still waiting on the second pair. Vision City of Cedar Hill is the most untrained office staff I have had the torture of working with. I would avoid this place at all cost!

Stay away from Dr. Tracey L. Yothers, OD, she uses a solution that burns your eyes for days, and she is only there on Sundays, but other wise works at Duncanville Eye Assoc. When you complain about blurry vision and eyes hurting for more than a week; they (Vision City) stated that every thing is ok, on the follow up test. My entire family(daughter, spouse) eyes are hurting and seeing blurry vision. We are taught all through life to trust our doctors, but her mystery solution that she drops in your eyes will hurt and burn for days. Unless you have some serious eye problems, there is no need for dialation, especially from this doctor.

DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!. First of all, the frames are extremely over priced. Id say anywhere from $120-$150 dollars each (how much does your insurance pay???). Every pair of frames i saw here was at least $100 less everywhere else (even in the mall). Secondly, when i was there looking at frames, they put an authorization for 2 pairs of glasses with my insurance company, basically saying that I had already made a purchase from them. I had to call eyemed and get it all straightened out because i was unable to purchase glasses from another dealer as a result. Horrible pricing, horrible service. The doctor was cute, but thats about it.

I scheduled an eye exam with Vision City, everything on the day of the exam went well. It was busy, but it was Saturday. I ordered two boxes of bi-monthly lenses and was told I could pick them up in a week. I forgot about them and called about a month later, left a message, no call back, again I called and got an answer, explained what I wanted, was put on hold and forgotten, I hung up after 6 minutes the first time, the second time it was 7 minutes, I still do not have my contact lenses, which were paid for. I am not a returning customer.

I truly enjoyed my experience! Dr. Ford was really nice and super professional. My appointment was at 12, but I got there at 12:15 and was seen at 12:25! They werent rude about my tardiness at all! The only negative was one girl at the front desk---- she was talking about short staffing issues really loud. I think that should have been discussed in a private meeting. Other than that A1! I thought Dr. Ford was awesome, best experience at an eye appointment.

When they were a new business in town, they were extremely professional. I got my frames and lenses and they fit perfectly. The second time I returned, what a difference!!! New personnel who do not have a clue, the lenses had to be remade 5 times! and still I could not read with them, so I asked for my money back. I am not a returning customer either...as Kris puts it, go somewhere else!

My appt was for 10:45 was not seen until 11:45 they kept telling me it would be a few minutes. I told them not to give patients an unrealistic time. Be truthful. Still waiting for my glasses said it would be 7 to 14 days. They schedule appt every 15 min but the dr takes 30 to 45 min. Will go somewhere else next year. I had things,to do. My time is valuable

I have been to this business in the past and received good service, However, I recently obtained a new prescription and they incorrectly made my lenses TWICE. I had to go back to my Dr. twice and this facility a total of 3 times to have it finally resolved. The staff was very courteous, but I did not appreciate my wasted time.

Total rip off. Spent $300 on a pair of glasses I cant use. When I returned and explained that I couldnt even read with them, they kept them for two weeks but never fixed them. Theyve been sitting in the drawer ever since. My wife had exactly the same experience, so were out over $600.

The male eye doctor I saw rolled his eyes and made an annoyed impatient face when I wouldnt let him flip my eye lids because I have an eye phobia. Left this office in tears without a solution to my problem that I havent already tried. Never going back here. Waste of time.
