I live in Corpus Christi Texas. I was searching online for a vehicle. I found it online at Texas direct auto at a reasonable price. I sent in a request for more information. Thats where it started going downhill. They never replied to my request. I had to call to find out if the vehicle was available. I spoke with the salesman named Eric. He said yes we have a vehicle available. The only left was left was to figure out the value of my trade-in. I submitted information that he requested putting photos and a good description of the vehicle including all the packages it comes equipped with to his email. At the same time I was driving to my local dealer just to make sure I was getting a fair trade in value. He told me his offer. WHICH WAS RIDICOULOUS. luckily I was on my way home and decided to stop by the place were I bought my vehicle. They gave me a Write offer good for 7 days or 150 miles whether I buy a car from them or not. There offer was more reasonable. Still a little low but I would have accept it if they had the car I was looking for. I told him about the write offer I received locally. He said we will beat it and not to worry. Send it to me he said. So I did. The first thing that came out on my phone from him was "let them buy it". When I inquired why he kept repeating himself saying let them buy it. So when I want to do some research on my trade-in value. The only information was in line with the higher offer that my local dealer gave me and the salesperson will not have it. He kept repeating let them buy it. I told the sales person I was not in position to do that because I was in a negative equity situation. And did not have the cash to pay the difference. I asked him what happened to dont worry will beat it? He said let them buy it. If they are not making all the money on the deal then they are not going to help you. They were not willing to play ball. They Do NOT KEEP THERE WORD! I would not recommend buying from them especially if you have a trade in.

This entire experience was super! The first time ever dealing with this place and all went smoothly. I had a 2012 VW that I recently tried to trade in and was offered a very low price. I knew I could get more by selling out right but that is such a hassle now days. These guys are more than fair in their pricing and made the entire process so easy. Kevin and Shalon are very professional and friendly. Kevin did the appraisal in less than 20 mins and gave a quote immediately. He does not make you wait -wasting time. Nor does he tell you everything that is wrong with the car to justify his pricing - another plus. Its a 5 year old car - of course it has a few minor things wrong. One other place took 20 mins just trying to tell me what was wrong and then offered almost $800 less than Kevins appraisal. Shalon is very knowledgeable in the title transfer department and answered all my questions professionally and politely. In less than an hour - the car was sold and I had a check in hand. I dont think it gets any easier!! Thank you Kevin and Shalon for making this entire process stressfree!

Kevin and Shalon are great! I took in a 16 year old car with over 200k miles, and Kevin was very honest about how much he would be able to give me for it, and was able to give me a fair amount. Hes a top-notch guy, waited with me in the office for 1.5 hours after they closed, while my ride was coming to pick me up, rather than closing up and going home. Shalon is also a sweetheart, very nice. Nowadays, its hard to find people that are still so friendly and actually care about customers like Kevin and Shalon do. They also make it easy to sell your car, and you get a check before you leave, whole process takes about 20-30 minutes. Sure, you might get a little bit more selling it privately to another individual, but if you dont have the time or means to do it, these guys probably give the best price. Besides, Kevin and Shalon take all the pain out of trying to sell the car and the paperwork that comes with it. Cant say enough praises about the both of them. God bless you both.

I normally do not write reviews, but we had such a good experience that I wanted to share! We had the pleasure of working with Chad and Frankie. Everything went so smooth and easy I thought there had to be a "catch" somewhere along the line, but there was not. We spoke with Chad over the phone, and he quoted us the amount he would give us for our vehicle. We thought that was a very fair amount. We took it in weeks later, figuring he would say "Well, I hadnt seen it, I can only give you XXX amount" like other places did, but he gave us exactly what he quoted! We had a check within an hour. We had another car to sell, and again, he gave us a very fair price for our vehicle. Again, no hassle. I would HIGHLY recommend using Texas Auto Direct!!! Oh, and they have massage chairs in the waiting area that are LOVELY!!!

I saw their ads on almost everybillboard in town, then low and behold I need to sell my car. Ill admit I was nervous, and unsure of the whole process but let me tell you, this place is like no other. There arent any pushy Sales people, no haggling, no moments of uncertainty! They were very nice from the time I walked in the door to the time I left.. oh and the time frame was 45 minutes maybe even Less!! Fastest transaction ever. Again I really appreciate their level of professional and taking time to go over any questions I may have. The young lady Shalon and the gentleman Kevin are nothing short of Amazing! You can bet that I will be back and anyone I know friends, family or anyone I see that is trying to sell their car Im definitely referring the to Texas Direct Auto IRVING!!!

Would give zero stars if I could. I put in an offer online and received two emails but never a call. I gave someone a call 2 days later and left a message, then someone else called to ask if I was interested in the car, sounded very scripted and in a hurry but I listened. Then I repeated the offer I made online and I guess it insulted him cause he starts to tell me about how theyre not a dealership. So in conclusion, they sell cars and when theyre trying to make a sale theyre super nice until their set price isnt accepted then they become very rude all of a sudden because they didnt make a sale, but theyre not a dealership. By the way, the call lasted no more than minute, he actually told me if I wanted to get a car at the price I wanted to go to a dealership. Okay.
