Staff seems friendly enough, but they are horrible with glasses. They are always out of stock or discontinue a brand that you have previously picked out. 1st my daughter broken her frames I took them in since she had a warranty. So, when they ordered the glasses I was told allow 7 days. Well we waited over a month or two and I had to call and find out what was going on so the staff told me.."Oh, the supplier doesnt make the color she previously had". Then I asked, "why no one called and told me"? "My daughter need her glasses for school". So, then they ordered another color. I got a call back after 2 weeks stating they didnt have that brand in stock any longer so, finally we picked another brand and we finally received her glasses. 2nd, I ordered a pair of Prada frames. Okay, no longer than 2 months of having them the metal bar broke in between where the eyes are. I went in to the office and of coarse no more frames they are discontinued. So, they gave me a credit of 150 mind I paid 375 for the frames. so now Ive lost money and I have to come up with more to buy another pair, because they dont have the frames I previously purchased. Well, Im done this was the worst. The Vision Source on Bellaire is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better.

Went in for my first eye checkup in 6 years. I scheduled the appointment last week and was able to get in within a week. The location is safe and convenient. Inside, the office is clean and inviting. The employees at reception greeted everyone who came in promptly and were friendly. The wait in the reception area was reasonable - 10 minutes. The eye exam devices were modern and clean. I opted to pay $30 to have machines image my eyes instead of getting them dilated. I think it was worth it because the doctor can access historical information based on the images and data. The actual exam went quickly. The doctor was very friendly, answered all of my questions, and gave an honest assessment that I didnt need glasses - she didnt pressure me into unnecessarily using insurance money to pay for something that I didnt need. Checkout was quick - I was able to use my HSA account and was out the door within an hour from stepping in. Definitely recommend Vision Source to anyone nearby!

The experience was horrible! Save your time and money! I had to wait 2 weeks to get my frames because there employee fail to order what I wanted. When I got my frames they were awful. The frames were defected and the lens were dirty and scratched...so I spoke to the manager Dan, who was very childish and unprofessional( since he is the owners son) refuse to reorder my frames and said if you are unhappy with the frames,go somewhere else where they can provide better service and quality. I tried calling the owner Susan Stubinski which is the mother but she never returned my phone call. This family is very unprofessional. They also own the vision source on 13615 Bellaire Blvd. Go elsewhere where there customers are there number one priority! And its NOT VISION SOURCE!

We miss Mary Cox. We had gone to Dr. Cox for years until she sold it to the new owner. I took my daughter there for an eye exam (fall 08) and they charged us the new patient fee even though they have our records. But worse then that the female doctor we had for my daughter was not kind to her in word and tone of voice. She told her she didnt think contacts were for her without giving her a chance to try to put them in. she also said she only had 10 minutes to deal with her trying to put the contacts in. We did complain to the new owners wife who was in one day and she gave us a good deal on eye glasses. My daughter will never go back. We stopped by their new location last week to look at frames and they have gone high end! too expensive!!!

Dr Nguyen is very rude, impatient and rushed me through my entire visit. I ended up having to comeback and have them redo my lenses, which Dr Nguyen did grudgingly. Staff is OK. Doctor needs to be coached and retrained. The customer is paying for your(Vision Source) services, were not coming in asking for hand outs. So dont treat us like were bums. Not recommended. FYI: Your computer systems(XP operating system) are way out of date, I certainly hope your customer information, insurance and billing is not stored on that decrepit old computer system. XP is no longer receiving security patches from Microsoft, so your putting the privacy of your customers/Business at stake because your too cheap to invest in your own business.

I cannot recommend this location. Just had two pairs of glasses made. Both pairs were improperly made and were not usable. So I waited 10 days to hear from them. Never heard. Called to check on glasses and told they had been in for several days. Why did I have to call? The Lab Manager and the Optometrist were defensive and argumentative when I explained I could not see through the glasses. In fact my old glasses were better than either new pair. The optometrist was arrogant, rude and was put out that was complaining. They tried to suggest it was my fault for the way I had my glasses placed on. They finally had to agree the glasses didnt work. Your choice, but I will never go back after they finally get my glasses right.

Today I saw Dr Abuharb and she was great! Very kind and listened to everything I had to say about my eye I was having problems with! We got a little personal talking about her nieces and nephews and my hobbies! She was very genuine and I left there saying I wish she was a PCP because I would def make her mine. I tusted what she said and look forward to seeing her in the future. I didnt catch her techs name but she was very polite as well! Office was very clean and welcoming and I was seen on time, always a big plus!!!

Watch out! we went there tiger some glasses for my wife, the staff is very rude! They rush you out in a he process of choosing your frames and we called the ins company to find out that they were charging 20 dollars more for the prescription. Also they told us that they riding cover some brands of frames and again overall the experience was very bad. We took our business to another shop to find out that they were lying about the coverage. Stay away. The shop is nice looking but dont let that fool you.

I have been going to Vision Source Copperfield for years but the last 2 visits in 2014 and 2015 (today) was fantastic. Dr. Nguyen is an absolute pro and I can tell you that my vision is getting more and more difficult as I age. She takes her time, makes sure that I like the changes made to my contacts then follows up to make sure all is going well. I highly recommend Dr. Nguyen and the entire staff at Vision Source Copperfield!

I dont think the staff was rude, a little slow and inattentive though. I have been waiting for my frames for over 3 months. I keep forgetting to call and stop by. The one time I did call I held for 15 minutes and no one ever came back to the phone. There was also an incident with someone throwing a rock thru their window, seemed very personal.
