First off, I love the brand Madewell and typically have really good experiences but that was not the case for the Highland Village location. I went in to buy shoes, was not greeted. I already kind of knew what I wanted and just needed my size and it took me a while to find someone to help me, to add insult I also started my own dressing room. I am finally at the check out and the person ringing me out says theres a customer message on the screen after Ive given my madewell insider info. she calls on the manager, the manager asks the check out girl what the message is from across the room and the check out girl refuses to answer like maybe the message is something about me? I honestly have no idea but it was a really uncomfortable experience. The check out girl did not make eye contact with me at all during this process which made things all the more uncomfortable. I am here to spend money at this establishment, not be ignored. Even though the galleria location adds a little more stress to get to, I will be going there from now on.
