Unreasonable return policy and poor customer service. My husband received a pair of loafers for Christmas. He wore them for one day and they were way too tight and narrow. He was hoping they would stretch out, but they were too uncomfortable. We live in San Antonio, TX, and there is no Cole Haan store there for us to return them. We went all the way to Houston to return them (with the original gift receipt). The manager was unwilling to do anything for us. She wouldnt accept them for an exchange or return because they had been worn for a day. When I asked how much the shoes cost, it took her about 10 minutes to come back and tell us she couldnt get the price. Im not sure why it took so long since we were the only customers in the store. Her best suggestion was for us to take the shoes to San Marcos outlets to have them stretch the shoes. San Marcos is 45 minutes away from where we live. We were very disappointed that there was no real solution. I would recommend anyone reading this to consider buying Cole Haan products from a different provider (like Amazon or a department store) since they have more flexible return policies.
