If you like the store stay away from the "Islamorda" "World Famous" Seafood Restaurant! We were shopping at the Pearland Bass Pro Shop when we noticed that the time had passed by too quickly and decided to have lunch at the restaurant, (My wife being on an insulin pump needs to eat at regular intervals to maintain a stable blood sugar.) We were seated, the place was very nice. We sat for thirty minutes before the host that orinally sat us came to see if we had been helped, we told him no so he took our drink orders. Another 15 minutes went by and we still had not talk to a waiter/waitress, this was was particularly frustrating as the table adjacent to ours had a waiter that had been to his table several times, saw that we he not been waited on, made eye contact with both of us, but never came to our table to see if we needed anything. Finally a waitress came over said that she was sorry but they didnt have enough staff to serve everybody. We placed an order that included an appetizer and asked that everything be brought out at the same time, oh and by the way we still dont have our drinks! My drink was finally served, but not my wifes. They could sense my frustration by now. When they finally brought the drink it was wrong, Corinarita instead of a Cocorita, honest mistake inmost circumstances, but after waiting so long it was particularly frustrating. Besides that the Coroarita they brought was in a Margarita/Martini glass, on the rocks, with the Corona on the bottle on the side! Lol! The bartender came out tell us that the delay on the drinks was on her, she was the only one there that could make the drinks, oh and by the way we had no frozen margarita or clips for the Corona bottle. Told her thats not what we orders anyways...... Re food finally came. The appetizer that we asked be brought out with the meal, a few minutes later, my soup, then a few minutes later my wifes entree.....I asked to speak to the manager, the person serving us the food identified herself at that time as the manager, said she was going to take that drink off the ticket.......(silence)...... I said thats it? She smiled, we got up and left. As we were walking out. I asked if there was anyone else above her that I could speak with, she said no, so I filed a complaint with the store manager. Too bad, I really enjoy the store, I went ahead and purchased the items that we picked up at the store, not sure if Ill make that drive back out though.

I have been going to Bass Pro Shop for my outdoor needs. I have recently been interested in purchasing a boat for me and my family. While shopping for this boat, I found one that Bass Pro Shop advertised via a site called iboats. I called the number on the ad and it dialed in directly to Bass Pro Shop, Pearland, TX. I confirmed that the stock number of this boat was available and in stock. When I told them I wanted to buy this boat they quoted me an entirely different price. I referred them to the ad and the sales person confirmed the ad and the price in the ad. I was told he would have to speak with management and get back with me. He avoided me and when I finally got a hold of him, he told me that he would not honor the advertised price. I requested an email informing me that he would not honor the price and he sent me an email with what he would sell the boat for. I am turning in the ad and the email to the Attorney Generals office with a complaint of false advertising. Their customer service, which followed up with me and asked how I was treated obviously does not care as after informing them of what has happened by e-mail, they no longer respond. It is now clear to me that this Company......... Bass Pro Shop is a complete scam of a company. They will use false advertising to get people interested in their products and then switch the price which should be considered ILLEGAL! Due to their lack of response, I will never do business with them again and I will make sure to share my experience with everyone I know.

Went after we called to take Easter pictures and we get there after I was on the road since 5 pm on Thursday because they said get here before 8pm and itll b ok, cause no numbers will start being issued till Friday, so we get there and the man at the door said no u cant go in it was about 7:20p.m and i explained what they told me and he said it didnt matter what anyone said he wasnt going to let me my husband and my kids in and not in a nice way in front of my kids, so i called and another rude person told she knew what was said to me but management is able to change things whenever they want, okay do it but at least hire employees that have manners and know how to treat customers and know how to address the situation or dont offer something your employees are not capable of handling. We always come to the store for other than pictures and enjoy it but yesterday was a Ill never come back, I feel I was being discriminated because others that were not Hispanic were let in before us, i really hope that wasnt why

We came to buy a boat. For such a big place with a nice set up, there were hardly any staff available and only half of the motors had prices on them. The one employee that we finally found wouldnt answer us if they had John boats or not and told us we had to ask someone in the boats section. We explained there wasnt anyone there... he told us to try again because that wasnt his section. We then went to grab some lunch in the restaurant and the hostess looked pissed. We asked her if we could sit at a booth by the outside windows.... she took us to the first inside booth after shaking her head with attitude. I thought maybe she didnt hear me, so I pointed to the empty booths by the windows, she scowled, muttered under her breath and shook her head in annoyance and turned to walk out that way with out responding to me. We left with out a boat or lunch. Maybe they were upset bc it was the day before a holiday and theyd rather be off? Not sure. Either way, we wont be back.

We were getting ready to move my oldest son into a new apartment up in College Station and I bought a glass lamp that you could fill whatever you wanted. I wanted to fill it with shell casing from duck hunting, but we never save ours, so the next best thing I thought would be the reload casings. I went to Bass Pro and met MARK COOK. He has lived in Pearland his entire life and I explained to him what I was trying to do for my son. I found out Bass Pro doesnt carry reload shell casings, but MARK COOK told me he had a bag full at his house he would give me if I came by after he got off work. I offered to buy them from him, and he politely declined my offer. I was so excited and extremely greatly that Mark would go out of his way to help me complete my project for son. Bass Pro has a one in a million employee that really went way above and beyond that day!! Ill forever be a customer as long as they continue to keep employees like him! Thanks again Mark!!
