The worst Cracker Barrel experience to date. Service was slow, did not return to refill drinks or check on us with any frequency, and got very simple orders wrong. Not very busy in the restaurant, but from time sat to drinks was almost 10 minutes and time from order to food was over 40. Oatmeal was served cold and they had added condiments to it randomly. Makes me worry it was returned from another customer or something else horrid. They also tried to serve us slightly different but more expensive items than we ordered. The whole ordeal took so long that the kids were getting hungry and couldnt even be entertained by crayons as they ran out. So we ended up buying some crayons from the store to try to keep them entertained as we watched those around us stare longingly towards the kitchen hoping the next plate of food might belong to them. TLDR: bad for any restaurant, worst Cracker Barrel experience bar none. Just get fast food and enjoy the Bass Pro shop instead. Or if you want that Cracker Barrel experience just go to a fast food place sit down and forget to order and stare hungrily as others eat around you.

I took my mom here to eat recently because she has been craving meatloaf and I got a burger. When I asked if they had blue cheese my server said they did but what she brought me instead was blue cheese dressing in a little container which is totally different! I asked for blue cheese on my burger but I was sadly disappointed. The dressing sucked and Im not going to put dressing on the burger. My moms meatloaf grossed me out and didnt leave her Desiring to come back for more. It had these little unidentifiable pieces of I dont know what it was... were they some type of sinew or unidentifiable veg? Who knows, but it grossed her out she only ate half of it and she only ate it because she was very hungry. Were the type of people that dont complain we just dont come back. We dont like making a big deal although its true we are paying for it so we do have a right to ask for something else. Other than that I do like the store thats there, we did some shopping and I like the old timey decor.

Had an awful first experience while going, not only did they made us wait over half an hour to get a table but they even skipped our turn, I had to get up to make sure we got seated. The place was packed with very little space. The food, while it was not bad, it is definitely not something making me want to go back to this place. The waitress was told from the beginning to have separated checks for us but this was never done as at the end we ended up having only one ticket for all. The waitress did not even know the menu, she had to check on the menu itself to let me know if what I was asking was on the menu. Finally the food took a very long time to be served. Dont think I will come back to this place.

Food is descent and service is terrible. wait staff hardly checked on us went on 3/12/2017. We before we left and my wife talked to manager and commented on their bad service. So he gave us a coupon for a free meal to give them a 2nd chance so went back on 3/25/2017 still service was still bad. got to table and was dirty chairs are wobbly when my wife ask for ranch dressing for her salad server smirked and said were out of ranch is there another kind of dressing you want. Really didnt need the attitude. your a restaurant be prepared. they didnt even have a steak knife for me had to use butter knife to cut my steak.

We love Cracker Barrel but our experience at this location was horrible! We decided to eat there with a Family of 6. We signed in and lady assured us 20 min wait. We waited 40 mins and decided to check in and they said that previous lady did NOT sign us in! The lady has one Job, to write down our name on a paper. By the way they said we have to now wait 40 more mins since other folks arrived before us. That was their solution to something that could have been handled by just allowing us in the new list. Anyways now at Lubys Great Service with no wait time, now eating and sharing this experience.

Horrible customer service. They made me wait 1 and a half hours for my food insisting that it is almost finished and once I had to leave for work they said the Waiter had forgotten to deliver my order to the kitchen staff. The fire place has no chimney and instead a suction fan that barely even takes in the smoke which gave my whole family a headache. Would not recommend to anyone as it was just an absolute horrible expierence. They even made me pay for the biscuits I didnt even eat and never ordered which I was only given because my food never came. I will never go back.

Large hook in Water Glass, Charged for "Complimentary" Biscuits/Cornbread We love Cracker Barrel, but at this visit, my daughter almost swallowed a large hook that was in her water glass. The manager not too concerned about it and just gave us another glass of water. And then to top it off, they even charged us for the so-called "complimentary" biscuits since our waitress stated that Cracker Barrel doesnt offer this service as complimentary anymore. Is this even true?

Cracker Barrel is that down home southern goodness you crave. From the get go you walk in to the general store which sets the stage for the goodness that follows. They have a large menu with dishes ranging from fried to healthy and anything in between. Every dish I have had here has been outstanding, and consistent with anywhere else you find a Cracker Barrel. If you want that down home cooking I would say come in and enjoy.

The food was ok. Waitress was terrible. We had her once before and she has not improved since last time we had her. She took our order and only 1 out 6 plates were correct. We had to ask several times to get the complete order. We had to ask several times to get the her to bring out cornbread and biscuits which comes with most meals. Next we go in, we will ask not to be sit in her section ever again.

Very bad hostess..a bit racist waited 2 hours to sit a party of 9 when party of 7,4,5 past on by when asked all she can said was well you need to wait and move back other people need to go thru..but when first got there was told all people need to be in the store .. But then asked to move will not recommend to friends and family

I received a gold card because I had a bad experience on a previous visit. This time the food and service were good. Management never approached us and when I went up to a member of management to let him know that the food and service was good he couldnt even be cordial never looked me in the eye. Management needs training
