First off, I want to say that the Fort Worth Motorsports sales team (Butch and crew) are not what Im writing about. Butch and his sales guys are truly fantastic, knowledgeable down to earth guys. My concern is with the Service Department lead by Tony. Ive gone to numerous service departments and specialty custom shops here in the Metroplex and Tony is by far the rudest, most condescending, and disorganized shop manger Ive ever run into (I’m not implying that all Shop Managers are rude by any means). I have no idea, why hes even in that position, as its obvious that he no longer enjoys his chosen career path… supposedly doing this for “41 years” (his words, not mine). We brought in a 2013 CBR600RR that was purchased at this location with an extended warranty (NOTE***the bike isn’t raced and is actually “babied” like one of our own children. I seriously doubt if it has ever seen rain). We had the initial service performed and the 4000 mile service to include spark plug replacements performed at this shop (plugs were changed 2000 miles ahead of the actual service/inspection interval because we are fairly particular about maintenance with our bikes and wanted them replaced after the rings were finally seating). This was never annotated in their records department correctly, and subsequently during an incident with the ignition coil on the first pot coming undone and the plug stripping out the head and taking it back with 11000 miles on it, we were told that they wouldnt honor the extended coverage warranty before we even had the opportunity to try and dig up receipts for what was done. Once we had the receipts in hand, Tony backtracked and indicated that there was service done on the bike but that what was annotated didnt show plugs replaced. We had the receipt showing plugs purchased the same day as the bike was serviced. Looks like when they replaced the existing plugs with new, it wasnt annotated on the service record, although we have receipts. The owner of this shop (Brad Niles) didnt even want to hear our concerns. As it stands Im in for a Helicoil repair or a new head due to this shops shoddy record keeping. Bottom line, I will never go back to this shop for service or new equipment (sorry Butch), and I doubt that Ill go to any dealership that has Brad Niles name or his familys attached to it; Fort Worth Motorsports, Cowtown Powersports, or Arlington Motorsports...as Im tired of being berated, and cussed at when trying to have a civil conversation about what happened at their location with one of his employees. Avoid this place like the plague. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Addendum: Judging from the lack of response from the owners of this establishment to any of these posts, you can probably come to the same conclusion that a majority of the reviewers have... that the owners arent concerned with providing any feedback to justify their actions, or lack thereof. ___________________________________________________________________________________PAY PARTICULAR ATTENTION TO SOME OF THE NAMES OF THE OTHER REVIEWERS: THEY ARE TRYING TO BOOST THEIR RATING BY USING FAMILY MEMBERS OF THE NILES BROOD WITH FAVORABLE RATINGS. SURE IF YOUR PART OF THE NILES CLAN,THAT OWNS THIS ESTABLISHMENT, YOU GET THE BEST TREATMENT!!! IF YOURE A PAYING CUSTOMER, YOU GET TREATED LIKE GARBAGE. This just proves the underhandedness of this family and their atrocious business practices. _______________________________________________________________________ Updated 6-21-16 We just purchased a Waverunner VX and a Kawasaki Ultra310....and didnt even bother stopping by Fort Worth Motor Sports to check out what they had to offer, as I didnt want to walk into the place after my last experience dealing with Brad Niles or Tony Frick. Just goes to show that if you treat your customers like crap, you lose out in the long run.

Took in my jetskis before the summer for what the mechanic said was an "easy repair". My jetskiis had two separate issues; first jetskii did not start and the other would start but would not go fast. we were called a week later dropping them off and took them to the lake that weekend. They did NOT work at all, the jetskiis had the same issues that we had originally brought them in for. We then ended up back to FWmotorsports and had them dropped off and they said they would get them fixed no cost. 3 weeks went by and we get a call that we need to pay 320$, this brought the cost to 900$. We decided to pay the cost since we wanted to enjoy our summer with jetskii madness! before picking them up this time i asked the receptionist (he seems nice but hes a liar) if they test the jetskiis out before we pick them up, he told me "yes, we take them out to lake arlington" which i later found out was bull cause he tells me later that they have a tank in the back that they test jetskiis, THEY CHARGE FOR A "LAKE TEST" by the way. well we take them out to the lake again and one doesnt start and the other is just dead. we call the guy and take them back. this turns into a 3-4 month process and then we get a call that we need to pay 1k more to fix a propeller. We speak to the owner and he tells us hell take care of it no cost. we get a call a week later saying that the engine blew out and we have to pay 2k to get it fixed. Honestly the worst mechanic experience of my life and that is hard to top. i would suggest against giving this place your business i am now in the middle of a law suit with this guys.

I brought my 2000 Shadow ACE in to replace the rear brake pads, change the oil and rebuild the carbs. I picked up the bike and it seemed to run fine. It took the service manager Tony Gallegos about 30 minutes to take payment. After waiting around to simply pay, Tony Gallegos did not apologize for wasting my time because you know “dumb computers.” After riding the bike for about 15 miles, the entire exhaust bracket fell off completely. Luckily this was at a low speed. After inspecting the exhaust’s connection to the head and the bracket, I noticed numerous odd nuts and bolts. Some were standard and some were metric with variations in metal type and finish. 4 nut and bolt combinations were missing all together. The chain had so much slack in it that I could lift the chain all the way off the rear sprocket. At a high speed, this would have easily caused a fatal wreck. I called Tony and explained what happened. He immediately told me that it was unrelated because no mechanic would ever remove the exhaust to do a brake job or carb job. Then he told me this is because the mechanics he manages are on commission. Then he told me it was because he has been doing this same terrible work for 41 years. The exhaust was bolted on securely for 20,000 and then magically falls off after Tony Gallegos manages work on the bike. Fort Worth Motorsports should loose their license to service motorcycles. Stay away-it is to dangerous to work with Tony Gallegos.

All I will say is if you want someone that will stand behind his work do not go to Fort Worth Motor Sports. In my case, Tony, the Service Manager at this place, finds it much easier to not annotate something on the record so he doesn’t have to warranty his work in case it wasn’t done right. Tony also believes with his 41 years of experience (so he states) that he is the BEST and the local, well known and credited Motorcycle shops such as Swifty’s and Cycle Werkz are “little hole in the wall” shops that don’t know what they are doing. IF YOU LIKE to be treated rude, cussed at, willing to listen while he is bad mouthing the local shops and back peddling on everything he said previously so he will not have to re do work that was done at his shop then this is the place to come to. I pulled my bike out of this shop before he did any more work on it. I have never had any problems with anyone else I have ever dealt with regarding my bike. There are two more things I want to point out: Butch with the sales team is excellent. He has always been a pleasure dealing with. So is the parts counter Gentlemen, I believe his name is Rickey. Very friendly and helpful. Because of Tony and the way he treated us we will never come back here, which is a shame because this is where I bought my bike, helmet and other things. Bradley Niles, the owner, doesn’t really care about his customers much either. He had not much to say about the situation.
