I have never written a review before but felt like I needed to after my experience at Cycle Gear in Bedford Texas.I had riden my rear tire down to the cords before I noticed, and had to have one before monday morning rolled around so I went in to see what they had.I was greeted right away and help by a non-pushy guy who knew what tires they had and his knowledge was helpful without dismissing my personal experience.I was advised that their turn around time is 48 hours, but he told me they were having a slow day and he could probably work me in.I left to shop around some but didnt find anything comparable so I went home and pulled my wheel and returned. They had a few customers and I was prepared to wait until tomorrow, but as soon as he had a chance, the Rep. took my wheel to the back and got started.I know he hadnt promised it same day, but he hooked me up and I totally appreciate it.These guys were fast, helpful and friendly with excellent prices and though they cant promise everybody my kind of turn around time, they do what they can with the staff available.Ill be shopping here again and recommending them to others. Thanks Tim!

Very friendly, warm experience. Both men working there were incredibly polite, sincere, and had great advice and information for a future rider. One gentleman directed me to a brand that he knew would work well for me because he knew a woman who wore it who was my size. The available sizes here are sometimes a little limited, especially for someone like me. The other worker acknowledged that and when Id mentioned a helmet I was interested in let me try his own on since there wasnt one available in the size I needed to try, then assured me he could order in and if it didnt fit I wouldnt have any problems exchanging it. Cant wait to get through my MSF course and purchase here.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience. My husband and I walked in and we we were not greeted right off the bat. Thats not too terrible but then as we were looking around at helmets and decided on two again no one came to help us. We decided to look at the jackets instead and while looking at bandanas an employee briskly walked behind me as I moved out of his way before bumping into me. He never acknowledged me nor did he excuse himself! At that point we decided to leave and go to Harley across the street where they actually cared we were there and looking. Really bumming because we used to spend a lot of money there.

I visited the shop looking for a helmet. Ive never been, so I asked the guy up front where they where. He rudely snapped at me and said "look over there", and "Ill be with you in a minute". He was doing paperwork so I figured he would help me after he finished. I browsed around trying to get to things in the overly cluttered store. Kind of found what I wanted, despite the lack of help, but still had some questions. I look back to see if the guy was done with his paperwork, and he is happily helping other customers that came in after me. There store brand helmets are crappy and overpriced. Dont waste your money here.

Nice store, been in several times. Like most retail establishments, research what you are after because you are liable to get someone who just started or is more interested in getting lunch than helping you. I went in a couple of weekends ago, wanting to purchase a rear stand. Found the stand, no sale tag of course. I asked the salesman, "I dont think that is on sale right now" was all I got and then he walked off. I went up to the front and found a sale flyer by the front door, took it back and showed him the flyer - "Guess its on sale!" He did offer to carry it out to the car for me..

My boyfriend David and I stopped in there tonight to get started on motorcycle gear. Jacob & I believe the other gentlemens name was Jeff were super helpful since we have never been on a motorcycle let alone tried on helmets. Jacob took so much time with us picking out helmets (which I cant wait for mine to come in and I will definitely post a photo of it), Jackets and Gloves. They got us completely hooked up. If youre looking for new motorcycle gear and need lots of variety these are your guys. Sooooo happy with the experience. You guys ROCK!!!!!!!!!

Only reason I bought my helmet through cycle gear was because the associate told me if I ordered in the store I would get free priority shipping That did not happen my tracking number is telling my helmet is a week away And because the took my cash and put it on a gift card to so the transaction I cant do a simple return so I can just go buy my helmet from a company that doesnt lie I will not ever spend money again with this conpany You can get anything they have and more from amazon and theyre products arrive when there supposed to

Cycle Gear is mainly an outlet for the off-brand, Bilt. Their helmets and clothing is mediocre IMO. They throw a VERY small election of Arai and Shoei in there for show but mainly they push the cheapie stuff. Sadly, I guess thats what most people want in todays Wal-Mart culture... cheap. I could not find a single pair of gloves with touch screen tips when they are becoming standard. They do have a pretty good selection of oils, cleaners and fluids.

Its a great place for any motorcycle equipment. Found a good jacket here for $100. Im a bigger guy and actually finding something that fits and is very practical for riding is a massive plus. I would like to see a little more organization. Some of the jackets I was interested in were incorrectly labeled. (3X size were actually mediums or womens jackets) And the time I went mustve been truck day, meaning their sales floor was flooded with pallets.

Good little cycle shop. The staff are hit or miss, but the guys who are into riding really know their stuff and are a great source of information. They offer military/DoD discount and have a good selection of street riding gear in stock. They also have a smaller but adequate selection of offroad gear. Very helpful for ordering parts - they can source just about anything for you. Lastly, they stock Engine Ice.

Went in to purchase an Icon vest for me and 1 for my girl. 2 guys working at the counter with 1 customer. They look up when we walk in but didnt acknowledge us. When they finish with that 1 customer, they still dont acknowledge us or offer any assistance. Since Im not a fan of spending my money where it isnt wanted, we leave. On our way out the door, one worker says "Well see you guys around"........

This store rocks my world for motorcycle gear. What I have bought from them is the best gear at the best price that I have found anywhere. Catalogue and Web site offer the same pricing but I prefer the store and like the people very much. They make my day. Motorcycles are my life and this Cycle Gear makes it better. Thank you guys and gals you are fantastic.

Very helpful sales staff, as someone who hasnt rode in a very long time and has practically no gear, the salesman who helped me took me around the store suggesting different gear to fit my needs. He was very patient. He showed me several helmets and had me try them on for the best fit. Loved the experience and will be shopping there for a long time to come.
