I just walked out... got my 1st (used) bow yesterday. Looked online for an actual archery store. I assumed that Id get a more personal and educated experience. Wrong! Walked in, no one said hi, what do you need? Nothing. I stood back at the tech area the two guys never looked up so I milled around, I need a new release, arrows and the rope thing that helps you to not drop your bow. I other words, money burning a hole in my my pocket. Stood around with my bow in my hands for 15 minutes. Nothing. There were customers, but not many. If someone would have said - hey man, give me 10 minutes and ill be with you or go get a Coke and come back in an hr. Fine. I own a business. Not sure how this one stays open.

You cant beat their prices on bows i know i looked just cant BUT do not whatsoever get their staff to set your bow up it will be done improperly from the sights to the D-loop and serving (a novice archer wont understand but the Vet will)...Just LAZYNESS.. Plus if you go another archery shop in east Texas they will charge you $150+ to correct everything they screwed up and its in WRITING. I bought the bow and had setup somewhere else.. please do yourself a favor from a active bowhunter and Comp. archer year round take my advice. If you dont believe me give my pro man a call his name is Fay at North Texas Archery in Farmersville he will tell you the story about these guys

Ive done archery for a while now but only compouds. I went with a friend who wanted to get into shooting recurve bows. They had decent prices and were pleasant and nice about helping out with the bow. I have 2 main problems: 1.) They pushed him to a bow too weak for him which was corrected & 2.) They set of arrows that was made for him were awful. I had to show him how to re-fletch arrows, and he had to get the proper size target tips for his arrows. Basically, buy the bow from them. Great guys and very knowledgeable. Dont buy pre-made arrows from them. Make them yourself if you know how or find someone better.

I bought and ordered my daughter a bow here which required a few different trips to the store. I have never been treated so disrespectfully by a business owner before. It was as if I wasnt worthy of being in their establishment. The contempt by both the older gentlemen in the back and the hateful lady on the floor has made me tell everyone I know that they should avoid this place with all cost. I live about 10 minutes from this location but will happily drive all the way to Canton to the archery place there over ever giving these people another penny of my money or a second of my time.

Great staff. Chuck was patient and a great teacher. I was buying my first bow and had been to other pro shops and didnt get near the level of attention or advice on form than I did from Chuck. It is a super busy store and I had to wait but the super personal service makes it worth it. I couldnt imagine going to a box store to buy something as personal as a bow. I am so happy with my Mission by Mathews bow and cant wait for the season to open! I am a customer for life!

I went in to find a gift for my husband, he is just getting into the sport. The manager there, a woman named Alicia, was very helpful. She put together a package for me that saved me about $50.00. They also have a range there so that you can practice, so I set it up for my husband to go and get custom fitted on his new bow and get some practice in. Alicia was very helpful and we will definitely be going back there for anything that we need.

I never write reviews, but this time I had to. I went to take a class this morning, August 27th, 2014 and I can say that it is one of the best classes on any subject that I have taken bar none. Chuck was extremely helpful and spot on with his advice; as a result I drastically improved my shooting in less than one hour. I will definitely go back for more classes and as long as they provide such an excellent service, Ill keep returning.

Left my bow there for the better part of a week needing it restrung. I was told it would be done by Thursday for a weekend hunt. Went to pick it up and they had just ordered the string that day. Terrible communication, terrible customer service and Chuck was rude when I picked it up. Go to Cabelas which is where I went. They are just as knowledgeable and very friendly and have good and fast customer service.

Outstanding store and staff. I went in to see if I needed a new string and cable on an older bow my son wanted to shoot. Chuck looked it over, saw that it was strung incorrectly, and fixed it right there, charging me nothing. He could have sold me a new string and I wouldnt have known the difference. The next time I need anything archery related, Im going straight back to Outdoor Pro Shops. Thanks!!

My boyfriend and I came here because we bought a group lesson on groupon. The owner opened for us on a Monday when they close on Mondays. She was very nice and did a good job on educated us about archery since it was our first time. Great experience. Ill probably take my friends there for fun!

New archer, wanted to try out bows and learn. Ignored for first bit and then told price of $20 bow rental for Genesis Bow (which I dont care to learn), place seemed cramped and low lighting. I just left.
