They have high quality items for amazing prices and I believe in their cause. I love to donate my furniture to them! The only downside from my experience is that they seem to hire very young and inexperienced people who work there who have not been trained to learn friendly customer service skills, and I had a difficult time finding anyone who cared enough to try to be helpful in answering any of my questions. I rate the customer service as "Fair" because it does need some improvement. Otherwise, as long as u dont need their assistance, they do have good products at good prices.

Ive been going here on a pretty regular basis , their pricing is all out of whack.. and crazy. Occasionally you will find Hermes , Gucci and other cool items for 1.99.. while Lucky Jeans are 24.99 ok you get it..... They were better off when all the items were 4.19 I used to spend 100"s of dollars here now not so much. The gimmicks of 50% off and 40% off are just that( the usual - mark it up double then give 1/2 off) youd think all the time and energy it costs to move and remark items ... youd stick to the basics. Staff is friendly.. and you can find good deals here..

This is one of my favorite thrift stores in Dallas. For those who feel its overpriced, they have not learned to work the sales days. St. Vincent has set days they discount merchandise for deeper discounts. Ask one of the sales associates for those days. Ive bought Nine West black boots, that needed a little polish, priced at $14.99 for 50% off, because I came in on a sales day. One extra thing I like is they have a section for plus size clothes and religious merchandise, rosaries, crosses, etc.

LOUSY DONATION DEPARTMENT. I scheduled a pickup of furniture three weeks in advance on their website. After taking off from work and moving other stuff out of the way, the guys show up and refuse to take stuff down a flight of stairs. The website had no restrictions about this, and I wrote on the web form that I was on the second floor. SVDP has wasted me time on my schedule on getting ready to move and burned one of my vacation days.

Was there today and what a mess. The people that worked there were very rude. The prices were too high. I love thrift stores and dont expect things for nothing but come on. There was a picture not in any fancy frame, not hand painted just a picture they wanted 50.00 for it. I get nice oil paintings at the salvation army for half the price. Think I will stick to the salvation army.

During my recent visit to the store, I noticed more items and a bigger selection then in the past. Their prices are GREAT, the quality is excellent, and the staff is very helpful. I found many items for my kids and myself. I would recommend this to anyone looking to save their family some money and support a wonderful organization that gives back to the community.

Ive been there a few times - not much to see. Hardly ever any good merchandise and many of their prices are too high. Everything is always really picked over and they are extremely slow to restock. The few shoes stocked are usually the raggedy ones that no one wants (especially the mens shoes). Skip it - dont waste your time.

I was able to find MANY pants for my toddler. Other thrift stores dont seem to have a good collection in his size, but this store did. They were also reasonably priced. They also have some nice shoes. The clothing was well organized. They have an extensive jewelry collection as well. You should mos def check this place out!

I like shopping here b/c I know that my purchases will be used to help the community. They provide ESL classes, financial assistance, and other help in the community. The store always has a fresh collection of clothes, furniture, home decor, and more. My wife and I love shopping here often.

The employees/volunteers give you grief about bringing donations at 5:30 despite closing the drop off area at 6, and the store remaining open until 7. Theyre not doing me a favor! They shouldnt act like they are. Well be bringing my donations elsewhere from now on.

So well organized for a thrift store, great variety and quality, great prices and discount programs, HUGE store, good cause in giving back to community. If price not on merchandise wont sell-inconvinient if you have travelled far to shop there.

SVDP is one of my favorite thrift stores. I usually run through there on my lunch hour and find just what I need - and most times its 40% off. I have a shortage of tops, but they always have something that catches my eye...and my wallet.

i have to agree. they are way over priced for what they have. some of the items you can pick up for full retail and on sale for brand new. i understand it is all for charity but you cant make money if you dont sell it.

I go in here from time to time looking for toys and clothing. They seem to be a really great place for this, and their prices are very reasonable. Just to add icing to the cake, their cashiers are always super friendly.
