I came in Sunday at noon for an estimate on how much it would cost to fix my Galaxy S4. The kid who helped me hardly took a look at it and said it looked like its probably the screen and LED or LCD display(which was not the issue at all) I do not really remember. I asked how much it would cost, and he told me is usually 189.99$ for the screen and the display, but it could come out to be more expensive if they find anything else that is wrong on top of that. I ask him to take a look at it and give me an estimate of how much it would be total, so he told me to leave my phone overnight and that they will call me the following day after they looked at it and figured out what was wrong for the actual estimate. Monday comes around and no call so I give them until the end of Tuesday when I show up about an hour before they close to check on the status of the phone. The guy who seemed to be the manager apologized and told me it is taking longer than they thought for the phones to arrive from the place they send them over to get them fixed. He then told me they should have the box of broken phones Wednesday, the next day. Now, all my red flags should have gone off and I should have asked them why they would send the phone to get it fixed when I told them to call me beforehand to give me an estimate of how much it would cost. But I decided to trust that it was the estimate that the kid told me since they did not ultimately find anything else wrong with the phone besides the screen (which as it turns out, the screen was not even an issue in the beginning). So Wednesday comes around and no call, so I wait until the next day and show up Thursday night an hour before they close again. They said it just arrived but they cannot give it to me just yet, since they have to tweak some extra things themselves but that it would be ready Friday morning. I show up Friday morning AND FINALLY AFTER 4 DAYS from the original "pick up date" even though I never actually told them to go ahead and fix it,it is ready. The cashier then hands me the phone and tells me is going to come out to 289.99$. Now at this point I just laugh at them and tell her that is ridiculous, and that a new S4 is only 249.99$. She gets the manager, who agrees that the price is ridiculous and lowers it to 219.99$. I tell them I am not paying more than what the estimate was, and he tells me "there were quite a lot of things wrong with the phone, and galaxy phones are very expensive and complicated to fix." So I told him to just take the new parts off and give me my phone back, which is when he dropped the price back down to 189.99$. Once I pay, he tries to turn the phone on in front of me but it does not load after the initial welcome screen appears (which was the exact issue it had before). He then promises me that it will work once the phone is charged. I trust him, mostly because I did not want to run late to class and had no way to charge it at the store, and take the phone and on my way to school I try to charge it.... oh no, exact same issue, battery screen appears but then nothing. After class is done, I return, he looks at me and without a word exchanged for a couple of seconds I tell him it is still not working, he immediately gives me all my money back, but tells me that he has to take every new par out. I agree on picking it up the next day, but only to arrive home and hear that he just called to pick it up now. I drive there for the 8th time and he just gives me the phone as it is, broken.

I have a LG Stylo that has been giving me problems the last few weeks...I attempted to fix the problems myself, but was unable to update the Android software...The cell lost functions like storage which caused most of the programs to not function correctly... This was not the first time I have had problems with the Android software...I like open software as I seem to be able to use more programs.than I had on my old iPhone... It is frustrating to not be able to use your phone, but I am extremely grateful to have the ability to drive to Cell Phone Rescue on Greenville Ave. and Caruth Haven next to Starbucks.. The owner and whichever asst. is working at the moment are knowledgeable and excellent in fixing your phone problems...I appreciate there assistance in fixing.my phone.. The cost is great also...I have never had to pay for their assistance...This is much easier than locating the phone brand and either going far away to their warehouse or shipping the phone to the manufacturer for repair... Luckily the phone doesnt have problems frequently, but when they happen it is fixed correctly and promptly by this shop... Better than five star service...

Avoid. These guys are dishonest. I took my iPhone 4 here to have the home button replaced. It worked fine, but shortly after that the screen started coming loose from the phone. They said they didnt know how this would happen since you dont have to remove the screen to replace the home button. They said they would replace the screen with a new one for a discounted price, which I thought was fair at the time not knowing the truth. In fact, you do have to remove the screen/display to replace the home button, and the screen did not need to be replaced at all. It only needed to be screwed into the frame. Later when I was replacing my battery I noticed that other screws were missing. Its worth mentioning that phone was purchased new and these guys were the only ones who ever worked on while I owned it.

NEVER, EVER BUY A CELL PHONE HERE. terrible awful business.. i bought a phone and the battery was no good, so the guy said he would order a new battery and he would call me when it arrived. i called every few days only to get the "almost here" run around. literally over a month later the guy says its still not there because of the chinese new year (BS) and he gave me a different crappy, old phone as a "loaner" until either the battery or a new shipment of phones arrived. well, i guess this crappy old phone is my new phone now because that was another full month ago, and still no battery, and still no phone call for a replacement. what a way to run a business.. i got shafted

After my charger broke off in my Iphone I went to the Apple store and was told the wait time was over an hour. This was a no go for me as I had a work meeting later that day. A co-worker recommended this place and it just so happen to be within walking distance of my job. I walked over there, went inside and less than 5 minutes later I was out the door and the service was free of charge! The two men working there were extremely nice and even checked to make sure my phone would charge correctly. This is my first experience with them but if I ever have another issue with my phone this will be my first stop. Highly recommend!
