My friend and I walked in looking to buy some oyster grey fountain pen ink to put in his new fountain pen. From the start the lady at the counter was very rude and disrespectful. She did not make eye contact with us and you could tell she thought we shouldnt be in such a "nice store." It is important to note that my friend and I are both high schoolers and I am of the Mexican descent. I feel like we were discriminated against solely because of our age and my race. Anyways, when it was time to check out my friend pulled out his credit card, And put it on the counter. He has a weird situation where the bank accidentally printed out his credit card onto a debit card template. So it is a credit card printed on a chase debit card. He has used it successfully numerous times on food, clothes, and other purchases. Every single time it has worked as a credit card. The lady at the store refused to treat the credit card as one and said, and I quote, "if you are going to steal a debt card, you may as well try and buy more than 6 dollars of ink." She then proceeded to slap my friends card onto the counter. I was astonished that she would accuse us of such a thing, and with that we left. I have never been treated in such an offensive, disrespectful way in my life. If I could I would rate this store 0/5 stars.

I wanted to write a review about this specific location about my personal experience w/this boutique. After reading others reviews, I couldnt agree more with them. The staff is very rude and not helpful at all. I have had a couple of bad experiences and sad to say I continue to return because this is the only location in the DFW Metroplex. Once was to purchase a wallet and I had them bring out about 4 different ones as I was undecided... I wanted to ensure I made the best decision (after all, it isnt like I am spending $50 here for a wallet - they are expensive). The staff seemed bothered really that I was asking them to take all of these out for me. I felt like asking them, "Do you really want my business?" The other experience was when I was taking in my pen for repair. The manager told me that my pen was a fake because of a chip on the pen cap. I know very well my pen is authentic and was offended by her saying this. I could not believe it and wasnt about to argue w/her about this. I sent my pen in to the Ft. Worth repair center directly (rather than using the boutique) and they fixed it for me. Anyway, it is sad to say this as i truly love the brand but his location really needs to step it up in customer service.

Montblanc owner beware this company must be cutting back on customer service and product quality. You would think buying such a unique high end writing instrument there service would be exceptional. I have owned Montblanc writing instruments for over 20 years. I have bought over 20 pens for various people, associates, and love ones. Here recently I have lost a little confidence with their service and product. To make a long story short my pen cracked two years ago and I paid for this pen to be fixed somewhere in the estimated range of $180.00 dollars. Two years later the pen cracks in the same place knowing this, it has to be a defect. There wanting to charge me another $180.00 again. You would think they would fix it and move on. The bad thing about I can’t get anyone to call me back including the store Manager Wendy… Also I have initiated every contact. I drop the pen off the end of August beginning of September. I tried reach out to them on 9/28/16 to find out the status of my pen. Complained to the customer service department they told me they would talk to the Store Manager (Wendy) and have her call me. Still haven’t received a call 10/6/16

I recently bought a pen for my husband for Xmas. I gave it to him early and he didnt like it. I go to the store 4 days after I bought it(the pen was not used, didnt even leave the box) and I was informed for THE FIRST TIME they do not do returns only exchanges or store credit. I would have NEVER bought the pen if I knew that. Whats the kicker is that if I bought it online I could have gotten a refund. The store was extremely rude about me even suggesting a return. I feel without informing your customers first hand of the policy is extremely unethical. I know you need the commission but come on. I suggest if you want a Mont Blanc pen buy it from a third party like Macys so if you do get someone a gift for the holidays you have the ability to return it if they do not like the item.

I will never ever buy a Montblanc pen due to the service I received from this store. I purchased the limited edition JFK fountain pen and want the nib switched to fine, the sales person said that it would not be a problem. They informed me that the pen needed to go back to Germany to have the nib exchanged and would take 6 - 8 weeks, 4 MONTHS later I still do not have my pen. I kept getting the same old story of how their new computer system would not release the nib from customs. I am sorry it does not take 4 months to fix the computer system and what type of company does not have a backup in-case something goes wrong. They sales people and manager took something that I was looking forward to and made it the worst experience of my life!!

The staff here is very rude and not helpful. I was buying a gift for someone and stated several times I wasnt sure what to get and may bring him back in later if he didnt like the item I chose. When I was checking out no one bothered to tell me about their very strict return policy. No returns and exchanges can only be done within 14 days of purchase for store credit. Its absolutely ridiculous and the return policy should be clear and employees should tell customers. When I went back for the exchange the woman there was extremely rude and not helpful at all. I dont think Ill ever shop this brand again.

I have purchased a number of items in this store, I probably will never go back. The sales people and the owner are very rude, they are not helpful and their attitudes seem to be, I dont care if you come in or not. Several years ago when I first went to this store, the staff was very kind and helpful but the last the last three years things have changed and they dont have a friendly staff anymore. I was there today and bought a refill for an expensive Montblanc pen and two young men were there and they was not helpful at all. I should take the refill back because it was not really the one I wanted.

The employees are either poorly trained or simply lazy, or both. A couple of years ago, I purchased a pen, and requested the nib be changed (which is a free service within a few weeks of service). I was told that in my particular pen, no additional nibs were available. I again inquired more recently, and now, for a price, the nib was available. When questioned, the employee assured me that of course a replacement could have been done when the pen was purchased, and could not explain why I was mislead. The employees remain rude and unhelpful.
