my wife has been employed at walgreens for 10 years. probably one of the nicest people I know on planet earth. late February she came down with severe strep throat. used this walnut creek store to fill her script. 30 minute wait no big deal. 3 days later she is unable to breathe or swallow so she is back to the doctor for another stronger antibiotic. goes back to this same Walgreens....one hour later they tell her insurance wont cover it WHICH WAS A LIE....says if she wants it she has to pay 52.00 for it. Shes hurting. She pays for it. Next day she call express scripts and they tell her she was authorized 6 pills. HMMM. damn pharmacy people are LIARS. They actually authorized 6 pills instead of 10. NOW...check this out....she tells her store director about it...he calls that store....they say tell her to come back...they will fix it. She goes back.....30 minutes later they tell her theyre not going to fix it. ????what? she goes back to her boss. he even says what the hell? so.....we contact express scripts....they say fill out benefit form for reimbursement. 6 weeks later they deny claim because we paid cash for the script. I say that walgreens pharmacy at store 5213 is garbage. the people are garbage. and if you need a script filled in that area go to walmart right next door. They will tell you up front whats up. No BS like these lowlifes at walgreens walnut creek mansfield texas. so much for 10 years employed at walgreens. its no wonder that company cant hang on to employees. sometimes the truth hurts. oh by the way....my wife even filed a complaint with walgreens and not one person contacted her to apologize. No district manager. Nobody. Imagine how that company feels about you. Like I say.....my wife is one of the nicest people on the planet.

I agree bad experience last time a will prescribed my medication at walgreens in Walnut Creek. Wait 30 min for pick up medicine that should already be ready. Not friendly at all. They dont even manage to speed up seeing that there is a line of 6-10 people. They dont care. Should have more staff or something. Definitely walmart

This is the worst Walgreens Ive EVER been too. You have to wait 30-40 min to pick up your RX. Like do they only have one person?! Can they not afford to hire more people.
