Well, the salesman got me good. I normally research a product before purchasing online, but I decided to try a different approach and speak with an actual employee. I went in looking for a tv digital antenna, he seemed knowledgeable and helpful, suggesting the more expensive wide range antenna due to it picking up the signals better. Well, it didnt work. All channels are scrambled. Due to the all sales final policy, I called to see my options. He informed me that if I bring it back to the store and picks up any signal, theres nothing they can do. Any signal means any image, even if its distorted and un-watchable. For them, that means its working. Theres a trust between the consumer and the store. One makes a purchase based on the "best of their knowledge." We often forget about the failing businesses and the employees that lose their jobs in favor of the convenience of online shopping. I tried supporting them for once and it cost me 35 dollars for a plastic square. Its really a shame and it signifies the deteriorating business models that ultimately contribute to their inevitable collapse.

Smart helpful staff. Keep in mind if you have no idea what youre looking for or talking about they cant magically understand what you mean if youre calling the cable to hook a house phone into the wall (rj-14) the "phone audio cable" so you can "listen to you calls thru the speaker" b/c this will just sound like youre asking for an auxiliary cable for a cell phone... Dammit. (Sorry I used to work retail, people shoulsnt complain that they cant get help if they dont even know what they need help with)

Sad the employees were standing outside the door at lunch hour instead of inside the store. Sadder one was sitting on the ground while the other two were smoking, which is actually against the city ordinance I believe. I almost didnt buy the batteries I needed, but I did. I had to say excuse me to get in the door and felt like I was interrupting them. I am disappointed in myself for buying product there and wont ever again.

Best radioshack around. Very down to earth employees, knowledgeable associates, and a great manager. Often when I go in to buy, I end up there for a while chatting with people in the store, and ive allways either found a solution, or been pointed to the right place. Love this store.

Garbage company that wouldnt allow me to return something that had been opened and used when I purchased it. Came in thinking I was getting something new but got a headset that had been pulled out, used, and even had dirt on it. Will never go back.

No rest rooms for families with small children. Rude and unhelpful staff. Cameron the store manager was useless. I will be taking my business to Frys Electeonics. This is why radio shack simply cannot compete in todays market.
