I hadnt been to HEB in a long time, and decided to go to the location that was nearby. I really liked that all of the fruits and vegetables looked very fresh. I bought some red mangoes that were very large and got a free mango slicer with a coupon that was hanging in front of the slicers. The slicer actually works perfectly!! I was surprised to see so many store coupons hanging in various places. I also bought some sashimi, rolls, and a pokē bowl(which was new) that had berries, tuna, kale, and apples, I think. It had a few other things in it and also had a delicious salad dressing that tasted like it had Yuzu juice in it, which adds a tangy, delicious flavor. Yuzu is a Japanese citrus, I believe. And, the bowl had enough for 2.5 servings. It appears that there are 3-4 different pokē bowls available from the poster on the glass in front of the sushi counter. The man behind the counter was very courteous, offering a slice of a roll he had made, but also asking if I needed anything. The sashimi and rolls were very fresh, and yummy. After collecting a few other coupons, which were all over the store, I tried some samples of chicken that an employee was handing out, along with a coupon for a free jar of salsa with purchase of a bag of chicken. It was actually really good. HEB brand, pre-cooked, pre-seasoned, and has 5 breast cutlets. I finally made my way to the checkout line, too late to realize that the HEB app has umpteen digital coupons, as well as coupons to try some items for free. I saw 3 different coupons for free yogurt; OUI, Yoplait mix-ins, and another type. I signed up for digital coupons, and HEB sends me texts when to check the app for new coupons. Recently, it was $2 off milk, juice, or tea. You can select coupons and then show them at checkout, I think. I havent had a chance to see how you checkout using the digital coupons. Although I didnt get the chance to use the digital coupons, I still saved over $32 with the HEB coupons, and paid much less than I thought I would, so it worked out great!! I will have to definitely go back to this HEB. It was very clean, and every employee I encountered was very nice and friendly. That was probably the most enjoyable visit to the supermarket, ever.

You can never predict if they will have the same products from week to week and the stockers tend to face products with spanish label out so I cannot read it. Every time I get used to buying a product, they eliminate it. People who are not disabled always take handicap parking and even though it is legally private property, they say there is nothing they can do. Their carwash does not get my vehicle clean and feels like Im caught in a Twister, shaking my car about and making growling sounds. How about an update on that? I am a reasonable person but you take all these things into account and their prices are constantly going up, it makes me go to Kroger just a few blocks down.

I love this place. The employees Ive encountered have been so helpful and friendly. Ive asked where "X" is located and had several employees walk me to it instead of just pointing. I also asked the seafood/meat employees questions about a recipe and received great tips that were raved about! My only (small) complaint is the traffic situation within the aisles and the produce section. Its not "cart-friendly"... I think it could be rearranged to make it a more pleasant experience. Just too crowded and curvy near the produce with too many center displays that make it difficult to navigate when youre busy. Overall, way to go, HEB!

For this busy-procrastinating single mother of 3 young boys, the HEB bakery has saved me many times. When another high chain local store wouldnt take my order of 36 cupcakes because I passed their 24 hour notice and the bakers already left for the day, I called HEB. The woman that answered the phone was polite and very helpful. It was around 6pm and I needed them the next day to take to my twins class for their birthdays. Ive always ordered our birthday cakes through HEB and only called the other store because it was located closer to the boys school. Never again, Ill stick with HEB from now on.

My favorite HEB. Easy to get in and out of. Usually always crowded after 5 p.m. , but they have lots of cashiers and direct you to the fastest lines. Great floral department. Many household items carried that you wouldnt expect to find in a grocery store. Friendliest staff. Best prices. Freshest produce, seafood and meat. Nice cooking demonstrations and samples on weekends. HEB app available that helps me find new or unique items. The app tells me what aisle it is on and where on the aisle, plus the price. Love my H-E-B!

This HEB is just a mess. They have built 2 new ones in Conroe in the past few years and this one is definitely been treated like and unwanted child. I do go when I HAVE to because its the closest to my home, less than a mile, but I never do big shopping there anymore. It just isnt well run and the aisles are always cluttered. Also, hard to get assistance and there are always long lines and a full, full, full parking lot.

HEB!! For Gods sake what kind of sewer water do you wash your fresh peeled shrimp in? On 12-20-2012 we bought some fresh peeled shrimp from your store in Conroe, Texas and it smelled and tasted worse than a chemical plant. It had such a heavy metallic taste that it was uneatable. This is the second time we have had this problem. Surly this product was bathed in some Chinese house of ill repute. Stop it, its horrible.

I like it cause Its HEB :) They have a different selection that the newer one up on 105 and 336. They have more of the value items and more Hill Country Fare brand. They also have more of a selection of the authentic Hispanic items. Its smaller than the other one in town, but has its own perks that you wont find at the other one. I suppose it just depends in what you are shopping for.

The lack of open registers is ridiculous. There are half a dozen express lanes open with cashiers just standing around and TWO open full service lanes with lines 5-6 carts deep. The manager is standing at the front just watching the debacle while giggling with a co-worker. Why not temporarily change an express lane to full service, get the lines down, and then switch back?

It is a shame that this store has such a terrible clerk crew from open till close. The store workers in produce and the aisles are so courteous. Just to really get it all screwed up at checkout. Everyone acts like they own the store but no one knows how to bag or check out groceries. And that includes the managers who act like they are helping check out. Just a shame.

I shop at the one on Frazier in Conroe regularly but not anymore! I only bought just a few things thank goodness because as I try to take my Sopping Cart to my truck it wont go out the door!! They have put locks on their wheels for security purposes!! You are a DAMN GROCERY STORE for crying out loud!! Really well you know what you can do!!!
