Chud Bash

They have a great selection here, but I must have struck a nerve with the older gentleman behind the counter when I asked for the availability of a specific beer. It seems as though this beer is his white whale, but he was incredibly rude during the entire exchange. I appreciate people that have a passion for good beer, but I was insulted with his choice of words. His demeanor completely changed during later interactions, so maybe the lack of this specific beer has left him with a wound that gets re-opened with the very mention of it. Everyone else was friendly and knowledgeable, but the initial encounter ruined my shopping experience.

I go to Lonestar all the time for wine and ales. The owners have a terrific selection, but if you dont see what you want, they will get it for you, usually at a discounted rate. Ive purchased wine from online sites and many other places, but the prices dont compare. Make sure to check out the freezer as there is a constantly rotating selection of craft beers and ales to try. Also, Ive never had poor service here -- quite the opposite. Someone always carries my purchases to my car for me. I should add that Im a picky customer and have shopped all over Carrollton. :) Geaux Saints!

This is really the only place I buy beer. Ive been coming here for years. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly to regular and new customers alike. If youre been to a local convenience store with a "Beer Cave" only to be disappointed as it was nothing more than a walk in cooler for their Bud products then youll love the walk in they have here. Tons of craft beer for every palate. Follow them on social as they post their new arrivals multiple times a week.

Lone Star is a mecca for craft brewed beer. They have an awesome selection (dont skip the beer cave), great staff and even the other customers give excellent suggestions for different beers to try. The Friday evening (5-8 PM) tastings are an excellent (free!) way to discover new beers to love or figure out which ones you dont like right now.

I stopped in hoping to find a single gose style beer. My expectations were low as I cant hardly ever find a place that stocks this style. Boy was I surprised to walk in and find 6-7 different brands amongst hundreds of craft beer styles. Needless to say, if you like craft beer, go to lone star.

These guys are great. Awesome selection and very knowledgeable staff. Good deals on your basics beers but off the charts when it comes to having a great wine and specialty beer selection. We have gone here for years and they really treat you like family. Cant say enough!

I was staying in Grapevine and called around to different stores to see if they had mix and match 6 packs. I was told they did but the selection was horrible! I guess its not a big thing in Texas yet... Wasnt worth the drive.
