I love the half moon latte! Its sweet, milky, and a little less rich than the signature summer moon latte. The space is small but cozy (6 big tables, plus plenty of bar seating), with thoughtful attention to the decor. The baristas have always been really friendly and welcoming. And to top it all off, in the morning you can get Tacodeli breakfast tacos with your order! The new north location is in a shopping center at the intersection of Kramer and Braker, near the Domain, Top Golf, and the IBM campus. The stretch of Burnet from Duval all the way down to Anderson has been begging for a convenient coffee shop. Theres even plenty of parking right outside the building. Based on delicious coffee, comfy atmosphere, and convenience, Im recommending Summer Moon to all my coworkers and friend as my go-to north Austin coffee shop!

This is the best flavored latte I have found in Austin! I originally lived south of the river and was so disappointed when I moved north because I was going to be so far away from the Summermoon Latte. But, now I can get them once a week again! The moon milk is the secret to their delectable success. They also have pastries and tacos, everyone is very kind and willing to talk you through the options. This location is much more spacious and has more seating and natural light than the original so if you are looking for a great place to chat with friends or settle in for a long haul study session, look no further!

Wow, prior to yesterday I did not know this place existed. I tried their half winter moon coffee. Im convinced one of their secret "organic incredients" is actually a scheduled substance. I was not able to stop thinking about this wood fired beverage all day, and returned this morning. Im pretty sure they will receive a small percentage of my annual income, as I am now a cult follower of their occult magic. Please change nothing about your coffee, it is the best Ive ever had.. And I am a well versed coffee junkie.. And I just scored some seriously good beans.

wifi - check board for pw download 64Mbps upload 9Mbps Fantastic drinks. I love the hibiscus tea. Their summer moon and winter moon drinks are great but may be too sweet for some. One of my gfs favorite places to get a drink over Starbucks. It may be bit of a wait to order and get the drinks, as it tends to get busy. But, I say slow down and enjoy the atmosphere and the drinks. One of the few decent places that actually have high speed internet. 3-5Mbps is not high speed where I find in most coffee shops. Speed is in "Mega-bits" not Mega-bytes.

Finally got a location up north! I started going to Summermoon when I lived across the street from the one on South 1st...within the first month, I spent $400 on coffee there. Ahhhh! The "moonmilk," a secret concoction of seven creamy ingredients, is the greatest thing ever put in my coffee. Their Wintermoon and Summermoon lattes are awesome as are their regular coffee drinks. They offer free wifi and a large selection of locally made breakfast tacos and baked goods. Just wish they were open later.

this seems to be the place to go for remote-work-fridays, there was one seat left for me, and everyone had a laptop open. Hopefully they bought enough of the pretty good drip coffee here, but they also have options like milk drinks that I dont see at many other places. Had an ok cortado, which at least they knew how to make but wasnt remarkable. Their moon milk is way too sweet for me, though, even in the espresso milkshake (which is still pretty good).

Couldnt be happier that Summer Moon has a location in my neck of woods in North Austin! Easily in my top 3 local Austin coffee shops. Its cleaner/newer/more spacious than their original location in South Austin--all pros in my book. If this is your first time here, have them add moon milk to your drink--you wont regret it especially if you have a sweet tooth. Be sure to also pick up a breakfast taco if you are there in the morning.

Staff here are so friendly, its just what the domain area needed! Expect to wait for ~15-20 minutes during the morning rush. Ive bought several bags of their coffee over the years and theyve had no problems grinding the beans for me in the store. Try their nitro cold brew with or without moon milk. The summer and wintermoons are instant classics, even my girlfriend who doesnt like coffee will drink them.

This is my favorite coffee in the city. I forgot how smoothly it goes down until just now. Ive never been to the other locations, but the interior here is great. It feels very open with plenty of seating (I think--no idea how crazy it will get.) The coffee is crazy good though, so worth a visit! Oh, and looks like the have outlets (including USB) at many of the tables, though not a ton.

Never buy a gift card from these clowns. I got one as a present and went to the 1st Street location. "Sorry, our gift cards are location specific cause those are franchises" So I drive all the way up to the Burnet location. "Sorry our system (the airquotes are real btw) is down." But their system wasnt down enough not to take credit cards. Dont trouble yourself with this place.

We can hardly pull ourselves away from this place. Luckily, its my favorite location and also closest to my home, win win! Get anything that includes their signature "moon milk" and you will be in coffee heaven. The moon milk can be somewhat sweet, so simply ask what might suit you best. I like the half moon lattes, which is a very popular item.

Really impressed. I decided to try this place for a quick meeting with someone for work. I got there early to get some work done and got a coffee. Great coffee, wonderful atmosphere, friendly and informative staff, food music, cozy feeling. I really like it. Its a bit out of the way for me but Im definitely coming back.

Drive by because nothing in the strip mall looked notable but came back after I saw it on yelp and Im glad I did! Lots of seating, killer mid-90s playlist and a yummy chai latte made my hours of Sunday work fly by. Staff was friendly and the line moved quickly - though it was pretty busy alllll afternoon.

This location is significantly slower than the S. 1st location. Not only does the service take twice as long, the staff seem put out if you will to make your drink. Ive also found that the way they make their drinks varies from the other locations and for whatever reason I dont think they are as good.

This place is ALWAYS busy. Be prepared to wait in line. That being said, their coffee always seems to be spot on. Ive tried the food a couple of times, along with a hand pie on this most recent visit and you can tell its re-heated. Stick with the coffee though and you cant go wrong!

Their coffee is amazing. The summer moon is a bit too sweet for me, but the half moon is perfect. I bought a bag of their coffee (Velevet Blaze) to use in my Keurig and its the best coffee Ive had. Theres zero bitterness. I definitely prefer Summer Moon over Starbucks.
