The Cappuccino and latte were fine, but strongly disliked the service. The lady ("barista") working wasnt super friendly to begin with, but when one of our drinks which didnt have its lid secured when we got it dropped off was hit it spilled everywhere. That was unfortunate, but we struggled to fine the napkins (everything, including utensils, was hidden - not sure why). The barista was saw us spill it (no one else was there), but didnt check on us until I mentioned my finger got burned. She was nice enough to provide some "homemade beeswax". But that was it. She didnt help clean, didnt offer to provide another drink to replan the one we hadnt even had a chance to try, or any other help. It was my fault that the cup was knocked over, but even Starbucks would have given another drink it refill if they saw that. This lady was too busy on her phone the entire time. My wife and I discussed the fact we had been completely ignored, and she decided to go and ask to have that latte refilled/replaced. After getting her attention away from the phone, instead of saying " no problem", she instead got defensive about the lid being on, and lectured my wife as she made another front. Seriously wished we would have gone to nearby Cianfrani or even Starbucks for our pitstop in Georgetown. No idea how this place has such good ratings, especially if this employee in question is one of the regulars. Skip the Red Poppy in Georgetown. 3 star coffee, 0 star service.

I have been buying coffee from here regularly and it is always good. Recently, bought my husband a basil tomato soup and panini because he was still hungry, and we almost fought over the soup (exaggeration) because it was so good. As a vegetarian, the only think I bought him I could partake in. Very delicious. He really enjoyed his panini and ate every crumb. I used to buy the tira misu here every time I could but they dont seem to carry it anymore. Again, very delicious is the theme for this place. The fact that the library lets you eat at their dining tables while reading books makes this place even more perfect.

Super-friendly staff and great tea offerings. The personnel are knowledgeable regarding their offerings, and make practically all food from scratch. Fantastic for gluten-free friends as well. Overall, this is a huge bonus to the library, and worth going out of your way if youre looking for a quiet place to work or have a meeting. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Good options for kids too, and the parents here seem mindful of their noise level. Every library should be this good. Must try: potato salad (with kalmata olives), the pita pizza, and any of their truffles!

I brought my wife here because of the gluten free food options. Its also attached to the library, so that offers a good opportunity as well. They were friendly and helpful with many interesting foods and coffees to try. We will be going back.

Very cool place! Little coffee shop that also offers light lunch meals for a decent price. Good place to eat, read, and study/write papers because its also attached to the Georgetown public library.

Their coffee is really good! I would even rank it up there with Houndstooth in Austin. We also love their gluten free and paleo friendly food.

The best iced mocha Ive ever had! Creamy, but not too rich. Perfectly sweetened. Thanks for the summer heat pick-me-up!

I tried the expresso--too large, no foam, and... more like a strong cup of coffee
