It is so refreshing to work with real people when it comes to such personal issues as your computer. The fix for my computer took so long. They reviewed and tested and trouble shot for so long, caring for my computer the way my father (master mechanic) cares for my car. This time i had to be actively involved because it seemed like their expansion is not quite as tight a ship as before their move last year. Or maybe the issue was just that difficult to detect and resolve. But the fact is that my feedback was completely received, my issue totally attended to, and the final price actually a little less than the initial quote. Bring your business here because i cant imagine many other companies taking that kind of personal time and attention without charging lots more. Btw the owner is on the board of the better business bureau. I could tell, as he picked up the ball and made sure my issue was resolved. I can only hope that their team gets stronger so that more folks can be helped. Special thanks to Joseph for all your effort. They gave me a part instead of charging. They gave me a free year of antivirus. Rick gave me a lot of personal attention. I would have been pissed about the inconvenience of the delays had i not already gone through a process and problem with this computer since its purchase. They did a good job of keeping me from getting angry, and that can only be achieved through courteous attentive communication and willingness to adopt better methods.

Zero stars if I could. Stay away. Their performance is poor, their customer service is even worse. We needed to get a cracked screen replaced on a laptop. Apparently they were having problem(s) with technicians, which caused a delay in repairing the computer. This was not explained to us when the computer was dropped off. Weeks later they called us to tell us it was ready. Except the touchscreen was not working. So we had them try again, more delay. The next time we were told it was ready, it was not yet re-assembled. More delay without even an apology. We just went to pick it up for the third time. Par for the course, there was nobody there for at least 25 minutes after opening time (dont know what time they actually showed, we had gone to run other errands). Now, there is a smudge of some sort on the inside of the screen that the technician did not notice until we pointed it out. The answer to that problem? You got it, let them try again. No thank you. I actually need to use my device. This process took nearly two months and PC Genie wasnot concerned about the timeline or their ability to "make things right." My advice to you...Stay away unless you have money and time to burn. Oh yeah, and low expectations too.

Update: 2-12-15 Great service yet again! Tim and his team are great. I had an old laptop that wouldnt hold a charge, but really wanted the data retrieved. I called Tim and asked if he would be able to help, and he said that it wouldnt be a problem. I brought in my "dead" laptop with an external hard drive and they did the data transfer quickly and accurately! All of my old files have been recovered and Im so glad to have all my old pictures and music back. I dropped off at 10am and was able to pick up at 10am the next day. Thanks for all of your help! Tim was very helpful! I brought my laptop in because the screen was blacking out / glitching. Fortunately it was just a one time thing, and it began working perfectly as soon as I brought it in to the shop (must be magic!). He was able to explain to me the possibilities of what could have caused my issue and tips for what to do if it happens again. I was very appreciative of his time and he seems like a very genuine guy who really enjoys helping other and is passionate about computers. If anything else happens, Im definitely bringing my laptop only here and I suggest yall do the same!

The customer service that Willie provided was great. He was willing to take the time to talk with me and explain what he thought the problem was and what his approach would be to fix it. Actually, the first time I took in my computer he took about 15 minutes to look at it, tweak some things in order to see if it was a simple problem, and he did it for free. When it turned out that wasnt the problem, and I took my computer back, he once again took the time to explain what the most likely problem was. He fixed my computer, had it ready for me ahead of schedule, installed new anti virus software and the works, and even cleaned it for me, so now my computer runs AND looks like its brand new. All of this service, and for the same price as what it would cost for the Geek Squad at Best Buy just to look at it. I will definitely take my computer to Willie at PC Genie in the future.

Willie was great! He gives a free consultation to explain what he thinks the problem is and how much it will likely cost. Once I agreed to go ahead with getting my laptop fixed, he was very quick with getting it fixed and back to me. He also let me keep the old screen and walked me through everything he was going to do to fix it and how he tested it (because I was interested). The best part though, as a student with a need for my laptop during and after classes, he was VERY helpful in working around my schedule and being quick. I dropped off my laptop in the morning and he had figured out the problem before my classes started in the afternoon. Then I dropped my laptop off again in the morning when the new part came in and he had it all fixed before my classes started. GREAT SERVICE! You need to go to Willie (PC Genie) if you have computer problems.

I took our virus-laden PC into PC Genie on Saturday and had it back in working order by Wednesday. It cost me all of $50 with the Saturday coupon on his website. The virus had completely disabled the computer and I had spent 7 hours trying to get rid of it to no avail. The guy I previously used charged me $65 and hour and did terrible work. PC Genie is great - highly recommended! **UPDATE*** Took the same computer back a year later when the power supply blew and my kids had messed up many OS files by accessing downloads with trojans. Willie put in a brand new power supply and reinstalled the OS while saving my valuable old document and photo files. He is really good, and a nice guy to boot! For about $100, Ive extended the life of a 7 year old computer that many others would have trashed.

Very fast, cheap, and great customer service! After waiting 2 weeks for the guys at Mr. Notebook to get to repairing my computer, I got annoyed and picked it up and dropped it off here on a Thursday. I had it back the next Monday! He started researching it even before I brought it in and he calls every time he finds out something new about the repair process. That was a nice change from Mr. Notebook where I dropped it off and didnt hear from them for 2 weeks unless I went into the store to check on the computer. He also did other little repairs to my computer that I wasnt expecting and he didnt charge me for them. He even cleaned my laptop, which was very nice!! Definitely great service! Theres a reason this guy only has 5 star reviews. I dont know why anyone would go anywhere else.
