My Acer netbook had been running a message "Preparing Automatic Repair" for more than a week. I could not reboot it. The same message reappeared time after time and was impossible to escape. I tried every solution I could find on the web. Nothing worked. I took the netbook to Ali, left it with him, and within hours received a call from him telling me my Acer was fixed. I was astounded by the speed of his response, and his fee, which was much less than I could have imagined, particularly given his time, effort and expertise. (Im reminded of the old 1950s joke about a TV repair man who comes to the house to fix a malfunctioning TV. He hits the side of the TV with his fist and it works. His bill is $100. His client is outraged. How can you charge $100 for hitting the side of the TV, he asks. The response: $1 for hitting the TV; $99 for knowing where to hit it.) Alis fee was more than fair -- not $1, but a lot less than he reasonably could have charged me. Ali is truly unique -- an honest businessman and a genuine expert in his profession. I recommend his services unreservedly.

My laptop started freezing up occasionally thereby affecting its general performance. Upon recommendation of a friend of mine, I had it serviced at Ali Computer Repair recently. The cost was reasonable and it included the diagnosis of the problem (it turned out to be the hard drive), ordering the needed parts on line and installation of the same, transferring all the data to the new hard drive and updating the operating system from Windows 7 to Windows 10. Just in a span of three days, my laptop was ready for pick up. Mr.Ali was very friendly and answered all my questions patiently. He walked me through the new operating system and the shortcuts to perform my usual tasks. He is very easy to communicate with by phone. Very prompt in calling back.

Ive used Ali Computer Repair several times over the past six months and have always been pleased. Each time I was able to set up an appointment quickly, and Ali was good about returning calls & texts timely. Ali has helped me with updating software on an older HP Pavillion laptop that was running excruciatingly slow to help get it running smoothly, updating to El Capitan on a MacBook Pro, successfully troubleshooting an issue trying to connect to a secure internet site, and another issue with being able to send/receive email and email settings. Ali is very personable and patient and I wont hesitate to call on him again if the need arises!

"THE BEST computer repair personnel I have ever dealt with" and I say this unapologetic! I had the pleasure of doing business with Ali after my computer crashed. I initially took my laptop to best buy to see if they could repair it but I wasnt satisfied with their diagnostic. In search of a second opinion I found Ali on Craigslist. From our initial phone contact he was extremely pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. I brought the laptop to him and within no time it was up and running for a cost that I could well afford. I HIGHLY recommend Ali for all your computer repair needs. I promise you will NOT be disappointed!

I recently went to Ali for help with building a new computer and I could have not asked for a better experience. This guy will proactively go out and find warranty information, price matches, etc, to get you the best deal he can on parts you may need, even though it does not result in any extra money in his pocket. He is also very easy to contact and will call you with updates on your repair. His prices are also very affordable, enough to where I gave him extra money because I thought his work was worth more than what he was asking for. Id recommend this guy to anyone for anything computer related.

Ali Computer Repair is my "go to" repair guy. Ali is quiet & patient and able to solve my computer issues - be it simple or complicated! More importantly, Ali has a quick response time which is always important when I am in a panic! He is good about explaining the problem, as he works to help me understand what is going on with the computer. If he cant resolve the issue when he is here, he takes it with him and quickly returns it restored! His rates are very resonable - not like others who try to steal you blind, with "their", "you need this" solutions! I highly recommend Ali Computer Repair!

I needed to install and boot from my ssd for my custom pc. Ali went above and beyond and finished the work in a couple of hours. I was a little worried to take my pc to a residential versus an actual store, but let me tell you he far exceeds any computer repair store by offering a very low price without the pay by the hour you find at an actual repair store, his attention to detail and excellent customer service. Ali is definitely my go to for any pc related issues. I recommend Alis services to everyone needing laptop, desktop or custom pc related work.

Ali does outstanding work at a more than reasonable price. He opened my 2012 iMac (since the screen is glued to the monitor case, this is quite risky), replaced my hard drive and upgraded my memory. All done on the day I delivered the computer to him. I rigorously checked out the computer after his work and everything was in the best condition I have ever seen. Faster, and, with the new HDD, much better. I recommend him over the "established" computer shops in Austin.

I had some major computer issues and couldnt even turn on my computer without a million pop ups and spyware ads. It was infuriating! Ali was able to take my computer and get rid of all the malware and viruses and he did it so quickly. I would highly recommend Ali for all of your computer needs. He was quick and professional and my computer is running faster and better than it has in years. And he was able to put all of my programs back. Very impressed with his work.

Ali worked on my Lenovo machine that had only 4 Gig Ram and a 250 Gig Hard drive. I upgraded it for 16 Gig and 500M SSD and a windows 10.. He ordered the parts, and finished the entire thing in a day. Also fixed viruses. He charged very reasonably for his effort and the machine is working like a charm. I really appreciate his help.. He is also very nice to talk to and enterprenaurial. A great experience and I highly recommend it.

My laptop was all gummed up - slow and erratic and prone to to strange things. I found Ali on Craigslist. I dropped my laptop off at Alis home in the afternoon. Next morning he called and said it was ready. I picked it up and put it to use. It was "ready" - like it was new again. And, his charge for his service was very reasonable - well less than half of what I expected.
