Visiting from out of town, i was replacing my front fork and didnt have everything to do the job myself so I brought it in for them to finish the job. Fork installation involves a lot: removal of fork, crown race removal (major pain in the you know what), spacers, bearings, star fangled nut installation, steerer tube cutting and more. These guys really did a great job on my Giant Talon 27.5 with a new Manitou Marvel fork. They even threw in the star nut for free and apparently I lost a bearing or seal of some sort but they found something in their shop that worked. These guys really communicate very very well with you and are super detail oriented. Would never hesitate to come back here. Thanks guys!

I was calling around to get a shifter fixed. They answered off hours. 15 minutes later Im watching the guy expertly fix my bike. They fixed ole Betsy for me faster and cheaper than any other joint in Austin. I had a great conversation about trails around Austin. Cant say enough, bike pros who love bikes, and do it fast and cheap. The guy went to bicycle college in Colorado Springs, so its not a stoned teenager wacking at it. It honestly is what I want the world to look like. People living a dream doing what they love helping other people live their dreams. Seemingly hard to find, but here is a slice of it.

Great experience!!! I needed a replacement chain for my mountain bike. The gentleman was very knowledgable and took his time to explain everything so I could make my decision. I am getting back in to riding again so I have a lot of catching up to do. He shared a lot of different info and really helped me out. I know who I will be taking my bike in the future!!!

Joe and Michael are knowledgeable, sincere and honest. They are not the kind of bike shop employees who force you into buying parts you dont need or sell you on a service that is not required. These guys are the real deal. I would strongly recommend you to go to Monkey Wrench for any repair, service or bike need.

Great experience getting my road bike repairs and tuned at Monkey Wrench. I initially tried to goto the Peddler, but was glad that they had closed their shop at 4pm on a Friday. The level of service I received and the relaxed atmosphere and time spent discussing the repairs and future maintenance was great!

This is the best bike shop Ive ever been to. Joe has been extremely helpful and honest every single time Ive been there, and its been great to see the shop grow over the past couple of years. The service is quick, and the job gets done right. I wouldnt look for another bike shop and would just go here.

Just bought a bike from them, and they were very nice and super helpful. Id definitely recommend them to anyone. The store can be a little hard to find. If youre having problems finding it, try 55th and Guadeloupe.

Cant say enough. I went in a while back with a flat tire. Came back the next day and my bike had been given a whole tune up!!! Brakes, gears, tire fixed, and even put on new grips!!! Cost: The price of the tube :)
