There is obviously something fundamentally wrong with "Gwens" brain, why a human being wouldnt give this location five stars is beyond me. Perhaps Gwen recently suffered a traumatic family tragedy or perhaps she simply isnt satisfied with how her life has unfolded over the years and therefore must unload her burden of personal disappointment by being crude and overly critical of retail establishments.... With all that out of the way... I have been shopping at this location for over a decade now, it was my first HPB and the store that started my love affair with the company. I have found innumerable treasures and great finds here over the years. Also, the staff is freaking great.

These folks are really great! I called several stores to locate a particular album, and each person who answered was friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately the first four HPB stores did not have a copy of what I was looking for. Fortunately, this store did, and actually put it on hold for me till I could find my way over there after work. It was in great condition and sold for a fair price. While I was there, I found another book I had been looking for as well! Both were in great condition and sold for less than what I had expected to pay! Thanks, HPB, for being there for me once and again! Kind Regards, Miklskon ;~)}

Dont bother bringing in any items for buyback because theyll give you diddly for them. I have a friend who came in with a grocery-store sack of books, and the employee immediately quoted $18 without even bothering to actually look inside the sack! Stay clear of these crooks. Recycled Books and Records in Denton will give you a lot more, and will let you take home the items they dont want, whereas with Half Price they take everything even when they tell you the low amount youre getting in buyback is because half the items arent desirable. Pathetic.

The fabric of this place runs deep, as Ive been a lifetime visitor of this store like the former Barnes and Noble a mile away. The front desk workers always greet us with warmth and welcoming. I fully enjoy the selection of classic fiction, horror/macabre, and science fiction. Their clearance always has a nice selection of price-friendly and in good condition books. My Stephen King and Dean Koontz come from this particular location absolutely clean.

This location has a very large selection, staff members that are eager to help when not busy and very knowledgeable regarding their selection. I always find what I need within minutes because if anyone is unsure they have the product I need, their electronic catalogue will let you know if they have it or possibly another location.

I will not purchase anything at half price books as long as I cannot carry a weapon inside their store. One would think that half price books would welcome law abiding citizens as an added security asset, but evidently not. I will look there for books and records and if I find something I will buy it elsewhere.

Cant go wrong with on old-fashioned bookstore, right? The Lincoln Square Half Price Books has a friendly, down-to-Earth that really makes you feel at home. The wide variety is impressive, and its a fun place to explore if youre looking for something to do!

Staff is professional and courteous; selection is great. I work five minutes away and go there weekly at lunch and have bought many books there. My office is moving to Downtown Ft. Worth and while I am happy about the move, I will truly miss this store.

Very good prices and a good place to go to if you are on a budget or if you have a small amount of money in your wallet. Besides selling books, they sell art materials, discs, and games among other things.

Great selection of books, great location and a very friendly staff! It isnt a good idea to go on a night of a Dallas Cowboys football game though. The traffic from the game clogs the area up.
