Ive never enjoyed buying a car so much as I did here. Fred Green the salesman (ask for him, and mention my name, Guy Malone) and the finance manager Kevin were very friendly, low-pressure, and extremely helpful with my pretty unique situation (44yo but no credit history because I usually pay cash for cars). Their selection of clean, low-mileage cars was incredible - Im now driving a 2012 with less than 13,000 miles on it, with a 5-yr/100,000 bumper-to-bumper warranty, with no trade-in and only $1000 down. The buying process starts out differently than most places, and was at first just a tad unsettling, but I see how it worked in my favor. Most places let you wander the lot, pick out something, then the dealing begins. Here, Fred put me through just a few minutes of simple paperwork first, asked me how much I wanted to spend monthly on the payments and the types of car I was looking for in general, then walked me to a selection of about 5 cars that they felt they could offer me that were actually in my range (price, and realistic financing options). Past experiences have shown me that other places let you pick out or get your heart settled on something thats really out of your price range first, then do all sorts of financial gymnastics to get you into a deal thats several thousands of dollars over your budget, or $1-$200 monthly more than you went in wanting to spend. They make money, while you end up later regretting what happened. Also, they didnt try to hold me there for hours until I bought something. I selected, test-drove, began the process and left the building, went home and Googled the car, and when it came time to sign a couple days later I knew I was making a really smart choice on a well-reviewed vehicle. Kevin also literally "showed me the Carfax" when it came time to sign. My banker referred me to Wholesale because they said Id get a better financing than my own bank could offer me (and Ive banked there since 1999). I heard they obtain their cars at "wholesale" prices from auctions, new re-pos, etc, and supply many dealerships with used cars, as well as sell direct to the public. What that means is if youre buying a car elsewhere, that dealer may well have bought it here, and then marked it up a few thousand more dollars (!) so why not avoid that mark-up and buy here, right? My only caveat to readers is that their Madison store had some negative Google review feedback, which kept me from going there first, as Id originally planned to do. Id seriously recommend any close friend or family member to make the drive to the Mt Juliet location, and compare what Fred and Kevin will do for you before buying anywhere else. We are a two-car household, and when its time to replace our other car, were coming here first.

I wont go into specifics as my email chain with this company is about 80 emails long, but heres the TL;DR I am on the selling side, not the purchasing side of the spectrum here. I was contacted by Joseph Boeta, a purchaser for Wholesale, Inc. out of Florida. He made me an offer on my car, I didnt agree to it, so we enter the back and forth game. He finally agrees to offer me $20,250 in three separate emails, I agree, then he pulls back the offer. He then proceeds to tell me that he never offered me $20,250, and that he never had approval to offer me that in the first place. I confirmed that with his manager, he did not have approval. So after a slew of more back and forth, where I dont agree to the $20,000(this is $1,750 less than my list price), he proceeds to send me condescending emails like, "good luck selling your car, its been sitting there not selling, take care". As of ten minutes ago, I get an email that "I am letting a deal fall through because of something so small as $250, it must be my ego or something." Again, still $1,750 under my list price, not $250. Oh and the personal attack from someone who Ive never met, that was a nice touch. I encourage Josephs management to contact me as I would like to have that discussion. At no point did he admit any fault after I reminded him repeatedly of what he offered me three separate times, he used the traditional pushy sales tactic with me, which I repeatedly told him was not effective as I am not in a hurry to sell, and was also strange to see from the selling side, "get you paid ASAP", "my offer expires tonight", that type of stuff, and lastly he was condescending, rude, untruthful, and disrespectful. Anyways, I have exchanged additional emails with Joseph to offer him construction criticism, which seemed to fall on deaf ears. He is aware that I am sharing my experience not only here, but with his management. Maybe there are better buyers from this company around the country, but suffice to say, I will not be working with Wholesale, Inc, on EITHER side of the spectrum.

JASON TAYLOR--Thanks!!! • • For about 8 years now, Ive hawkishly observed the integrity and generosity of Wholesale Inc. in ways that are non-existent with all the surrounding dealerships. I knew I wanted to give them my business, yet be careful & wise with my next vehicle. (I cart many students, visit many college campuses, & place lots of ministry miles on my vehicle . Some say my car is a "2nd home." I HAVE to be a good steward of my funds.) This time I got to experience for myself how "true to heart" this place was. • JASON TAYLOR (Kevin Weaver, Arron, others) knocked it out of the park--careful to listen and accommodate and not pressure me. They were upfront, realistic, transparent--& patient. They sought to really find and help with what would best serve me. Whens the last time you left a "dealership" and WANTED to return? #authenticpeople #noSchmoozeZone #willBeARepeatCustomer • ---Oh, and one more cool thing... One of my former students parents were in their buying their SIXTH vehicle from them. #BOOM!! Thanks, Jason!!! Thanks, Kevin/Arron/ChadM Grateful for you looking out for me! -gbaines
