Bought a Jimmy for my wife. It was spring time so we didnt check to make sure the 4 wheel drive worked. DUH!! Mistake. When winter rolled around, I took it in to another mech. to see why. Someone had stripped everything from under the front. I called and asked Valley Motors why they didnt check it "before they sold it" They said "we sell everything as is, Your fault for not checking." About a month later we were on 465 north and the rear end locked up. Had to replace the rear end in it. 4 wheel drive was useless to try and fix. The air conditioner compresser was locked up. In before the 4-wheel trouble started, I bought a Blazer off them. Mistake #2. Checked it on car fax. It was wrecked in the front. I drove off the lot only to have a thumping noise and a rubbing noise under car. Took it back few days later. They got under the car and "fixed" the rubbing noise. Come to find out, they had cut the heat shield from around the brakes. When they did this..they also cut my ABS wires and black taped it back. Without telling me. The thumping was from "dry rotted" tires" WHAT?? Just bought it from ya..BOUGHT AS IS"!!! Well my son came to visit from Colorado. He works on cars over there. Nice cars..not what you get here. He checked out the car and found they had cut the shield, and wires. He also started checking out my wifes car. "Should have never been sold off a lot" Too many things are wrong with this car. Transmission had leaks, rear and front seals both bad, ball joints were bad, brakes were totally shot. Had to replace all.Rotors and all. My Blazer he had to replace the u-joints which stopped the thumping noise. He also fixed the 4-wheel drive which also didnt work. He replaced all hoses and switch. All brakes had to be rebuilt. Air in car still dont work. I shelled out almost $2500.00 on my wifes car to stay going, and mine it is at almost $2000.00 and still going. Wifes car finally bit the dust. We couldnt afford to put any more money into it. Had to sell it for scrap. Still driving the Blazer after putting bunch of money into it. Looking for another vehicle for my wife now as I type. We had bought two "4-wheel drive vehicles" and neither 4-wheels worked. High price for 2-wheel cars. Very disappointed in the vehicles we bought. They didnt tell me to have someone check our cars out. I figured they had mechanics there..why should I? Hoping we would get a good car. Would I buy another one there? Probably NOT.

Horrible experience and van is a piece of junk. Its been in the shop more days than we have driven it. We pulled a car fax (unfortunately after we bought it) and it was in an accident right before they sold it to us! We went there because they were highly recommended to us by a close friend so we trusted that they would sell us a decent car and we paid cash in full for it. It had so many problems and bandaids covering them long enought to get off the lot.....the first couple days the sensor went out and a week later we had a horrible squealing in the brakes and within 5 weeks the engine blew!!!! They did replace the sensor when we took it back but didnt want to have anything to do with it after the engine blew. In fact, we were told by the person who had us tow it there, that the owner was quite upset that we had it towed to his lot, which at the time I didnt know what else to do. It just stopped in the middle of driving, Thank God i got off the highway, I had 3 children in my car and we couldn have been hurt or killed if I didnt make off the ramp!!! Come to find out, the warning system was disconnected by someone, may have been the previous owner who knows but i would assume they should have checked it anyway and they would have seen it on a diagnostic machine and that would have been disclosed to us. so while it sat in the shop for a month we had to pay for a rental for the 2nd time, which was over $600, the mechanic told us this was an awful vehicle and had major problems. The wheel bearings were DUCT TAPED together!!!!! Well we had to spend $3500.00 for a new engine and we have had the van with the new engine in it for less than 2 weeks and now the transmission went out of it. Although I know it is a used vehicle it should still be in working order and if he was a good car dealer he would have at least tried to make it right..... They claim they tried to help us which is not true, we would have never refused help, that is why we towed it there in the first place!! The owner refused to ever talk to us and 2 of his employees told us he was "unwilling" to help us, those were his words, not mine! How do you argue with that?? . I cant speak for anyone else but I see other bad experiences similar to mine online too, so I cant be the only one. Every car they sell may not be a bad car, Im sure they sell good ones too but this was MY experience.

I went to this dealer because the ones I normally deal with didnt have what I was looking for and I was looking for something that a single mom who doesnt make much money could afford.. so I chose to come to Valley Motors and I explain to them that I had already been scammed out of $2,500 and that I needed to be put into a vehicle that would be reliable and run without any problems and they put me in a 1999 Ford Explorer XLT 4 by 4. I drove a month and it quit running I called these guys and ask if I bought the parts if they would mind putting it on for me and putting the mechanics Bell on my payments they refused oh and I also asked if it would be possible if they would put me into a truck of equal value even swap Id still make the payments. The reply was that they had a 2005 Ford Taurus 173000 miles for $1,995. But I would need to return the Ford Explorer and pay the $1,500 that I owed on it and buy the car. That considered. Helping me out. When I told them that wouldnt help that they needed to come get the truck they threatened to take me to court. Do not waste your time money effort with these people they sell nothing but lemons and do not want to have good customer relations with anyone that truly needs help. I got the truck return to them and I will see if they hold up their end of the bargain and leave me alone.

I purchased a Jeep Cherokee from Valley Motors last year and it was an easy transaction. This is a buy here pay here lot that sells vehicles "as is". Most of these cars and trucks appear to be straight from the auction so you really need to inspect any vehicle thoroughly before buying it. If youre not knowledgeable about cars then Id suggest taking it to an independent mechanic for an inspection. I drove several different Jeeps and most had a lot of problems but I did find a nice one that just needed some standard maintenance done on it. If you dont have enough cash to buy a decent used car then Valley Motors may be a decent option to consider. Youll typically have to put $1000-$1500 down. All of their cars have high miles so be prepared to spend more money on routine maintenance items likes brakes, tires etc. I dont have any affiliation with this business other than being a former customer and I wanted to write an honest review of my experience in order to assist other when considering this business.
