There is no "- Fair" in my eyes for this review. I really enjoyed the car I got from here, but the service was worse than awful. I got a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix. The salesman that came out had the nice guy routine down very well. I decided to buy the car without my grand negotiator: Dad. My mom and I went in (this was a few years back). The guy that helped us with the papers was a stockier, tougher looking guy dawning some gold blingage here and there. He informed us that they "didnt play games" at Community Ford. But, he proceeded to rush me through signing the papers and would kind of chuckle when I wanted to stop and read them before signing. He even had me sign something saying that when I drove it off the lot, it wasnt coming back (my mistake). Pretty soon afterwards, the whole passenger side was covered in coolant. I discovered it was a heater core issue (500-600 dollar fix, according to a local car repair guy). I took it back to Community Ford and went inside. They took me to their main man, another tough looking guy with grey hair (cant remember his name), who informed me that nothing could be done. After going outside, the Mr. Niceguy came out and wanted me to wait, saying he would talk to their repair guys. He went and came back about three times, giving me his final, gracious offer to fix it... and the price he gave after all those trips was higher than the regular fix price that the car guy gave me. All the workers there tried to intimidate, were not professional at all, and offered no help in any of my issues immediately after buying the overpriced car. I work at a local bank as well, and I once had an older lady come in very upset, telling me to tell everyone not to go to Community Ford in Mooresville. Recently, a church friend, very good with cars (and older), told me he had also had a bad experience with these guys. All this to say, if you are thinking about buying a car, go elsewhere.

I have recently been looking for a new truck. The specific style I have been looking for is rather difficult to find. While browsing ads, I found a listing for a truck I really liked from this dealer. I then called to set up an appointment and spoke with a salesman, I wont mention his name- though I should. He seemed rather nice on the phone. We set up an appointment because I live an hour and a half away. During this phone call he said if anything changes, such as the truck selling before I came, he would call me. I get off work the day of the appointment and head for Community Ford. When I arrived, the truck was not in the lot. I went inside- no one approached me, all salesmen were just standing around. When one finally did, I told him the person I needed to talk to and they paged him over the intercom. After several minutes of waiting he never showed up. I was asked by another salesman if I needed help with something and I told him the truck I had an appointment for and he told me it sold several hours before I got there. I was never informed of this such as stated on the phone; I drove and wasted $60 of gas round trip. I have tried to call multiple times and given the run around on why he can not speak with me. I still have yet to hear from him or to even get an apology. I’m not upset the truck sold- it happens. I’m upset that he didn’t have the decency to call and tell me because if they were organized business men, they were well aware that I was coming.

There is absolutely nothing good to say about this dealership. They had a used truck on the lot that a friend of mine had agreed to purchase, being the friend that I am I agreed to drive him to get, we live 3 hrs away and spoke with the salesman at 4:30pm the day before we went and he said he would hold it back for him since we were leaving to head down before business hours. We got within 10 min of the dealership when we received a call that the truck had been sold! All they offered was a tank of gas for our troubles, as we were at the dealership the manager told my friend to look at other used trucks on the lot and to not worry about money being an issue they would make it right. There was 1 truck on the lot that was equivalent in options when trying to negotiate on a price they wouldnt even come down! So long story short we wasted 6hrs of our Saturday and got treated like yesterday garbage, I would recommend staying as far away from this dealership as possible...its just one lie after another!

These people are such bad liars and scammers! I purchased a vehicle from them in early 2017 to only find out that they sold it to me without a title! Now they put the worst paint job Ive ever seen on it, and are trying to sell it without a title again! Make sure you run a VIN check and a theft check before you fall for one of their scams! They even admitted to having three other vehicles for sale without a title when I questioned them about it! Dont buy the currently black 1998 Ford Mustang GT VIN: 1FAFP42X6WF203879! Theyre so bad at hiding their scams that they didnt even bother to change the color of the vehicle from its original primer gray, to black in the sale description!

I had been looking for a used hatchback, and had herd good things about Community Ford threw a friend of mine. They didnt have any hatchbacks in my price range, however the young man showed me an SUV that was in my range, so we took it for a spin. Awesome SUV. Never really gave them much thought before. So then it came down to financing, and they also did a great job getting me payments I could afford. Over all I am very happy with this dealership. They didnt just shut the door in my face as others had in the past. They worked with me and also are very laid back. If there is a way they can help you out they will do it.

I called the Service Center @ 7:40ish in the morning, told them I had a transmission problem, but that I needed to be at work by 9 am. The gentleman asked me how far I lived and told me to bring it in and theyd take care of me. Thats exactly what they did! Nice friendly staff @ the service center and before 11:00 I was being contacted and advised that my truck was ready for pick up and it was. Then they kindly sent a driver out to my home to pick the truck back up. My truck is driving the way it should again and I really want to say Thanks to the gentlemen that assisted me!

Bought a car...started FALLING APART immediately after I got it! And now, theyre suggesting that I pay for all the repairs (At least $1000 so far and were just getting started!) ! Usually car dealerships will at least top off the fluids, change a air filter etc. before putting it out on the lot..but nope I guess this was too hard. The air filter was the ORIGINAL also. And the salesman had the nerve to say "Yep previous owners took good care of the car." HA what a joke! So disappointed.
