Im a small business owner and just like everyone else Im never a fan of dealing with dealerships and car salesmen. But...I surprisingly had a great experience this time around purchasing my 2016 GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali. I walked in to the dealership and didnt feel like I was being attacked by "vultures" looking for their next sale and I met Kent Fisher who I feel went above and beyond his duties as a car salesman and it is definitely the first time I have actually enjoyed not only a new vehicle but the process of purchasing it. Yes I had to wait a little longer than expected because I came in during the busiest time on a Saturday but it was well worth the wait and I was able to get an even better APR by going through them. I had all of my financing and everything else in order before coming and knew exactly what I was getting but he asked to let them try to beat the rate and they were able to get me under 2% and once I went in to sign all of the paperwork I was out within 10-20 minutes. All in all I enjoyed the Stoops Buick and GMC dealership and it was a very nice facility but I cant stress enough how much I enjoyed working with Kent vs any of the other sales people I have dealt with with my last 5 car purchases. If you are ever looking to work with Stoops I personally would recommend Kent Fisher. I felt he didnt seem to be concerned about the money he would be making on the deal and instead was more worried about the money that I would be saving and my experience. Thank you Kent! I was recommended to Stoops by my mother who had purchased a vehicle in 2011 from them and Im glad I went to check it out. I live on the southeast side of Indy and hadnt even thought of driving to Plainfield, IN to try but Im glad I did. I went to other dealerships as well and most of them didnt seem as genuine and interested in my business or work nearly as hard to gain it or able to beat Stoops pricing and they all eventually gave up or thought that I would cave in quick or something. I personally wanted to work with Stoops after meeting Kent so I continued to keep him informed of other dealerships offers and they were always willing and able to beat the other dealerships offers and by far more than just pennies. Thank you Kent Fisher and Stoops! I love my new 2016 GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali! It is an absolutely amazing truck!

I drove 40 minutes there to see a specific truck, after I had spoken to "Chuck" the previous night about coming to see it. I get up early due to having to work that day, drive up there, and check the truck out. As Im test driving it, Chuck asks what I want to pay for it. Well of course Im not going to mention my top dollar that Im willing to pay for the truck. Chuck tells me the truck is not in my range, and I should be looking at other trucks of lower caliber basically. I tell Chuck that I am not in need of only spending that certain amount, however he pretty much wrote me off at that point. So the test drive ends, and Im left outside while checking whats under the hood, and I finally walk in and have Chuck paged. Mind you, I am still expecting to actually make an offer on the truck, and was just waiting to have the opportunity. When Chuck sits me down at his desk, he begins telling me what I actually need to look for in my price range. Chuck never allowed me to actually make the logical offer I had planned on, and when I asked if he was going to even work with me, he stated he was, but never came around to it. So after sitting in awkward silence for awhile, I finally said I would just take my business elsewhere (he only said "Okay"), thanked Chuck for having me waste my time by driving up there, laughed in disbelief, and then walked out. Chuck and Stoops have no clue who I am, what I can afford, and what I even wanted to offer for the truck. He only asked me what I would like to pay for it, which was obviously a low-ball amount. Oh yeah, and Im a young female, and I am not one to complain about sexism, but it was pretty obvious by how I was treated. I guarantee I make more a year than what those guys make, and he treated me like I was nothing. I hope Stoops, especially Chuck, reads this and knows exactly who wrote this. I know a lot of people in Plainfield because of my occupation, and they can best believe everyone I can tell will know how they treated someone that had planned on actually making an offer that was sensible. They totally failed at my test.

I went to Stoops for my first real car buying experience. I have bought a car from a buy here pay here before but this was the real deal. I have gone with other people when they have bought new cars and I have been to Andy Mohr Ford and Andy Mohr Toyota. Stoops has the best pricing out of anybody you can find!! They will sit there and show you the pricing of all the cars similar to the one you are looking at within 200 miles and I guarantee that the car on their lot will be within the cheapest 5 on that list. This gets rid of all the haggling involved with the pricing and make it that much easier and faster to buy a car here. Also, almost any dealership you go to is going to try to sell you extras. For example, I have seen a few that offer deals for interior/exterior detailing and protection at Ziebart. Stoops offers 2 different deals like this. However, there was no pressure to buy them what so ever. Chuck explained to me what they were and he said I could change my mind later if I wanted to, I felt no pressure at all. I bought a certified pre owned 2014 Chevy Cruze and I have had it for about a week now and I absolutely love it and I wouldnt trade for anything! I bought this car from Chuck Sechrest!! He was very helpful in teaching me all the fancy stuff in the car and he was very nice and friendly from the beginning until the end. Which as you know if you have bought a car before you can be at the lot for 4-5 hours! Anyways, overall I had a wonderful experience at Stoops. I will probably go back there for my next car and I highly recommend Chuck!

My husband and I had been shopping for a dually diesel pick-up truck for quite awhile. Even though my husband is retired from General Motors and still gets a GM discount, we were also looking at Ford trucks. Every other dealer left us disappointed, for one reason or another. They also did not have inventory for us to actually see the vehicle we needed to pull our RV. Because my husbands mother had bought a used car from Steve Willett and had such a positive experience, we decided to drive to Stoops and talk to Steve. So glad we did! It was by far the most pleasant car-buying experience weve ever had (and weve been around a long time!). Steve knew the product, had the inventory for us to look at, was infinitely patient with all of our questions, and overall just seemed to really have fun with his job. Since well need the truck by mid-March when our RV will be delivered, Steve and Jim Meyers went to quite a lot of trouble to locate a truck at another dealership that matched the options we wanted. They found one in the region, and we just took delivery of the truck on Feb. 1, 2016. We love it!! Wed like to add that virtually everyone we came in contact with at Stoops was pleasant and helpful. Tyler Meyers made the financing part go smoothly as well, doing as much as he could ahead of time to prevent us from being there any longer than necessary. Hopefully, we wont be needing a vehicle again for a long time, but we will certainly recommend Steve Willett and Stoops Buick/GMC to all of our friends.
