Essen Motors is the place to go! The whole staff was beyond helpful towards my daughter and I. Melissa went beyond and we drove off with an excellent vehicle! Its interior was very well taken car of, under the hood you can hear the "Turbo" ;-) and its exterior is an "eye catcher"! We are very grateful for the service we received from the promptly returned phone calls to my daughter and I driving off in our "new car"! Our Lives new chapter has begun.... We will return, S & L Follow-up(December 2016): I left the previous review a week after getting my car. The second day of purchasing it I had a "severe" oil leak when I got my tune up. I was instructed to bring it back for repairs and I did. Mechanics they hire dont stick around so it became a "repair tag" game! On day 90 (3 months) my car wouldnt crank at all after I parked it. I had it towed back to Essen, as I was told to get it repaired, again no reliable mechanic! Then there was the supposed swapping out the car for another but the owner "Montana" avoided me completely! My car sat in a parking space for 6 months there without being touched or even given a diagnosis. Ive been extremely patient but the stress from this has been unbearable!!!! I had my car sent to another repair shop (November 2016) I get the news it needs a whole engine!!!!!!! Be very, very, very, careful purchasing from "Montana" the owner, he will avoid you once he gets his money but he will definitely see me again in a different atmosphere.

One star is too much for this outfit but it wont post without at least one. The only nice thing I can say is their employee, Melissa, is very nice. She made me and my dog very comfortable but if you want a vehicle that will get you from point A to point B go anywhere else. I bought a 2006 Audi with 100,000 miles for $8000. For an additional $800 you can get a 3 month warranty. OUTRAGEOUS! Less than a week Im having it TOWED to a repair shop because it will not start. DEAD! Had the battery checked and it is okay . A warning light on the dash came on 15 miles down the road after I purchased this piece of junk. I was told there was a manual in the car but that wasnt true so I have no idea if this warning light has something to do with it not starting or if that is an additional problem. I couldnt get a straight answer on who owns/manages this place from the man that works there when I called. He claims it is not him but he sure acted like it the day I was there. He was unsympathetic and down right rude on the phone. Online they advertised that this car has never been in accident but that is a lie, also. Thank goodness I saved it before they removed it. My next move is to report them to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, TENNESSEE STATE ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE and EVERY SOCIAL MEDIA and USED CAR WEB SITE AVAILABLE. That should do for starters. False advertising is a crime and Im like a dog with a bone. I dont like being ripped off and that is exactly what happened.

This place had a car on Craigslist for $8900. We emailed back and forth, and they said they would take $8300 for the car. I drive over an hour from my house to look at it on a Monday. I like it, so I go back home, gather up the money, and drive over an hour on Tuesday morning to buy the car. Guess what? Now the price was $9500 before taxes. They told me that with a straight face. The craigslist ad was taken down the day that the deal feel through, but I just noticed today that it is back up, and it has the $8900 price listed again. I guess they are waiting to lure the next person in and waste their time. If they treat people like this, I cant imagine how "high quality" the cars they sell must be. I should be mad, but I think I probably dodged a bullet here. Stay away from this place.

I bought a car from here about 4 Months ago. I had it for a week and I couldnt drive it. I called 3 times through out the week and they said they would call me back but never did. I spent 780$ Fixing my vehicle. Just a Few days ago the transmission blew in my vehicle. The model I have has no transmission Dip stick inside of it, its a sealed unit. It would have cost me 1000$ to get checked and changed. The car had an oil leak with in also a month of having it. The car will not run properly and cant be drove. I would never buy from ever again nor would I ever recommend them. Thank you Essen Motor Company for screwing me over.

We recently did Business with Essen Motor Company, the lady at the front desk (Melissa) was wonderful to say the least! We highly recommend Essen Motor Company to anyone who is looking for a good quality vehicle and good quality customer service (Melissa was very professional and knowledgeable she answered any questions we had and treated us with respect which in my opinion you dont get at many places anymore)! We will be doing business with Essen Motor Company the next time we want to buy another vehicle and highly recommend anyone else looking for a quality vehicle buying experience to do the same!

I am extremely impressed with the nice folks at this establishment. My husband and I were in desperate need of a second vehicle when I ran across Essen on Car Gurus website. I contacted them and was delighted that the lady that helped me was very knowledgeable and seemed like she genuinely wanted to help us. Long story short, we purchased a BMW sight unseen and had it shipped to us. We couldnt be happier with our decision to choose to buy from Essen Motors and will be life long, long distance buyers.

The guy is a crook! Sold my husband and I a frame damage car and told us nothing about it. Weve had nothing but problems with it ever since. This guy who claims his name is Montana and that he is German is actually Middle Eastern and his real name is Awad! We should have done our due diligence prior to purchasing from him when we arrived at his WAREHOUSE and saw that he was no German and certainly no Montana he claimed to be on the phone! Buyer beware!

I bought a beautiful BMW X5 in January of 2016 from Essen. I have done nothing but sync money into it. $7500 at this point.My first run in was two weeks after I got the car, $2500 price tag on repairs. When I showed the invoice for repairs to the dealer at Essen they pretty much laughed in my face. Not their responsibility they said. If youre willing to take the risk....Good luck, but they will not accept any responsibility for what they sell.
