Exceptional car buying experience for a first time and veteran buyer! On Wednesday, August 3, 2011, after being turned down by 7 dealerships/financing companies, I was referred to Right Place Auto Sales. I am a seasoned car buyer who accompanied a first time buyer to the lot in Murfreesboro, TN. My salesman, Steve, was fair, upfront, helpful and most of all patient. He counseled with the first time buyer, explained warranty options, payment plans and credit building. The lot closes at 6 PM or until the last customer has been served. We left out at 7:37 PM in a nicely equipped and affordable SUV for $5795. I felt like the experience, as I can easily compare it to two weeks of "Nos", "You dont have established credit." etc, was pleasant. After driving from Texas to assist this young man in becoming a first time car buyer/owner, and being able to compare this dealership with top dealerships in other states, I rate it an A+ for first time buyers; second and third chance buyers; and people who need to establish credit. The down payment was affordable ($850-$950) and there was no haggling. Other places in the Nashville and surrounding areas (Madison, TN) in particular, wanted $2500 cash for the same quality vehicle. As with any purchase, there are risks involved. When buying an "as is" vehicle, you have to be prepared for assuming possible mechanical risks. The college student/first time buyer that I accompanied purchased a $400 (6 month/6000 mile) warranty. It is up to the buyer to maintain the vehicle and to honor his agreement with Right Price Auto Sales. Again, my experience, as a current Land Rover and former Mercedes owner- was as business professional as a leading dealership. The bottom line: this young man, who had been told "No" seven times within a two week period- who walked 7 miles from his college campus to his place of employment- walked out of the dealership with a car. The process took 2.5 hours. The majority of that time was test driving and comparing four vehicles. I will continue to visit this website and posts over the next 6 months as this first time car owner makes payments, experiences car repairs, and interacts at a different level as a payor- rather than a buyer.

Let me start by saying I have not purchased a car from this place, so my review is only over the experience I had with them while searching for a vehicle. Ive been to their lot a couple of times. Both times I was greeted by the same sales person. When asking about prices and payments on the vehicles I was interested in, he didnt seem willing to work with me. What he said the price and payment were is what the price and payment were, and there was no budging. He spewed a bunch of jargon that made it seem like there were legitimate reasons for the price, but its just a bunch of sales mumbo jumbo (this I know because I used to sell cars myself). Im sure this is fantastic for the revenue of the lot, but, in general, customers want to feel like theyre getting a good car for a good deal. The overall feeling I got when shopping there was not a good one. Also, I felt like a lot of their vehicles were overpriced, as I had done my homework before I went shopping. However, they do have a great selection. Lots of cars to chose from to suit many different preferences. I didnt feel rushed, either. The sales person was more than ok with talking to me for a while without pushing me out the door. In short, if youre ok with paying more to have in-house financing and to be able to have the vehicle you desire, this is probably the place for you. Just be prepared for a not-so-friendly atmosphere, and a sales person that wont budge the least bit.

bought a van from this place. the salesman was very nice and everything. but here was the problem the salesman knew there was something wrong with the van but of course a sale is a sale. not even after having the van a day was driving and in the middle of traffic the speed completely dropped and it wasnt getting any gas and turned off while I was driving. called them and explained what had happened and they told me it must be the fuel pump or filter but oh well you didnt purchase the exact warranty for that problem so you would have to come out of pocket to have it fixed. so we tried doing the fuel filter and that stopped the problem for a while but one day out with my kids and the van just stopped in the middle of traffic and wouldnt move, and would not come back on, this is a horrible way of doing business and left a bad taste in my mouth especially since this was my first purchase from a dealership. ended up letting them come get the van because I refused to put out anymore money in the car. I would never do business with this company ever again or any small time dealerships because of this. I was warned by a previous buyer and didnt listen, wont make that mistake again.

I actually drove by this place last week on my way to another dealership. I was reminded of how horrible my experience was buying my first car. These guys really are sharks and they definitely smell blood! After realizing I had been completely and totally ripped off after several issues occurred after I drove my car off the lot, I return to speak to the "boss." He was not very understanding he offered to take some money off the car for one of the problems but not all, and there was no way I could trade for a different vehicle. He had a very "nothing we can do for you" attitude which was the exact opposite from what I received when I was trying to make a purchase. No one could explain to me why I was sold a lemon, and no one wanted to help me. I ended up getting everything fixed myself, and paid off the car. All I can say is chose a different dealership its not worth the risk. Also this is not a fake review Marie is my nickname. I do not want to use my real name for reviews for my own personal safety. I wouldnt waste my time writing an essay just to bash this company. It was all because of my experience.

Do not buy anything from this lot. I had a close family member get screwed by this lot. First they bought an all whell drive vehicle. Part is to blame on there part because they were not mechanically sound, but thats beide the point. It was an all wheel drive vehicle that was missing the front drive shaft to make it all wheel drive. Needless to say the front transfer case was probably humming so they decided to make it a rear wheel drive. Next my family member was late by a couple days on their payment. Takes payment in to get it up to date and they repo it at the lot and will not take the money. (never been late on any other payment) Im hear to say these guys are very dishonest and no one should ever buy anything from these guys. If you do decide to go buy from these guys take some KY Jelly for when they bend you over

This is our second time purchasing a vehicle from Right Price Auto Sales. The process has been painless both times. The people at Right Price Auto sales have something to meet every persons budget and needs. I would recommend Right Price Auto for any one who is looking to buy a vehicle but first time buyers defiantly. My family will continue to do business with Right Price Auto over and over again, they have been nothing but nice and helpful, even when we had trouble with our previous vehicle they were willing to work with us, you dont find too many companies like that anymore. If you are looking to purchase a vehicle, you can not go wrong with Right Price Auto Sales!!!!!
