I have been shopping at radio shack for over 20 years in many states. The Radio shack on 1625 Poplar Ave has to be the bottom of the barrel when it comes to radio shack. The customer service and item selection at this location is pitiful. The store hours listed on radio shack web page isnt followed at the store at all. I will no longer shop at any radio shack but spend more money and shop some where else to get better customer service and item selection.

The Radio Shack on Poplar Ave is nothing but a waste of ones time and money. Dont show up looking for a specific item and expect them to have it; nor should you ask one of the clerks for assistance. After being practically accosted at the door by two lounging clerks when I asked if they carried power cords for my PowerBook the woman actually asked me, "is that some type of computer?" Save your energy, time and money; go somewhere else.

Employees just dont care. I asked about a cable I needed and the young lady told me that they were out, without ever looking up from her cell phone. In my mind this location no longer exists.

This store remains open despite recently advertised closings. Hobbyist and experimenter selections for electronics & robotics. Test & repair equipment, even radios!!!

Really ticks me off that they quit carrying the Koss KTXPRO1 Headphones in Radio Shack branded form.They are the very best cheap headset one can get.
