Last night I called Game Stop before leaving my home and spoke to John. When I walked into the store I asked for John and he greeted me while he was eating a pecice of chicken or whatever!!! Never did he be PROFESSIONAL and stop eating to assist me but he continued to finish up his food as he talked to me. I work with the public 7days a week as a carrier with FedEx and also at Uhaul. I couldnt dare trying to pull this with my customers because GOOD customer service is very important when dealing with the public . The controller was used and didnt work very well so I went back in today to exchange it for a different one. The kid at the register was dry as sand with me. He documented on the receipt that i declined to get a warranty coverage might i add that I was never offered today or last night. I think that i might just take my business elsewhere next time!!!!!

Honestly, I think the service is great. I am sure they are required to ask you to pre-order, but most of the people working there are very friendly. I like talking to them more than my real friends a lot of the time. If you want help, dont ask when there are 20 people in line, politely wait for the store to clear up, i believe this will eradicate any chances of bad service.

This is one of the best facilities Ive been to by far. The manager is the real head of the business while the others are not quite as helpful. However, I always choose to checkout or discuss games with the manager when Im there and it always goes so well. If youre looking for a laid back, easy going place to buy your games or get information, this is the place to do so.

The Gamestop on Union Ave is the worst one in the city. The workers have horrible attitudes and provide little to no customer service outside of trying to hustle you into pre-ordering more games or buying warranties on your games. You cant even get a simple question answered without being placed on hold for 20 minutes and being hung up on eventually.

Staff has an average level of knowledge and can help most customers. However they never have enough staff on hand so expect to spend 30 minutes to an hour waiting to checkout.

Gamestop is basically a Pawn Shop that specializes in Video Games. If you go in with that mindset you will understand why they operate the way they do
