We went on a Sunday, around 1:45. We wanted to have lunch there after we shopped at Pier 1. First of all, it wasnt clear what we were supposed to do to be waited on. We walked through the pastry shop , passed several employees and saw a sign that said seat yourself. Our server, was seated inside , by the window(over looking our table). Still, no one spoke to or acknowledged us. Finally, my husband got up and asked what were we supposed to do to be waited on. Our server got up, passed us and walked to the kitchen. The girl at the register(very friendly) gave my husband a menu and silverware. She told him our server would be with us in a minute, she was getting us some bread. The food was delicious. The bread wonderful! The reason for my rating was the service. Added note, they close at 3 and neglected to tell us we had to go out their doors to get out of the shopping center. We walked all the way back down to Pier 1, doors locked, although they were open. Our vehicle was parked on that end. Loved the food, but doubt will go back to eat there on a weekend or maybe never.

I consider La Baguette to be a "home away from home." Whether I order a cookie or a delicious chicken salad sandwich, the staff is always friendly and helpful. I bought a loaf of their lemon pound cake and shared it with my family. They raved about it. The pumpkin pound cake is heavenly and I was sorry I shared it!! Their pastries and croissants are scrumptious. Recently, I ordered a tray of assorted mini cookies for a party. The cookies were ready on time and placed nicely on a free tray. The guests at the party enjoyed them and wanted to know where I bought them. Also, the cookies were large and a bargain at 50 cents each. I feel fortunate to have La Baguette close by. It remains my favorite bakery in Memphis.

Worst service ever. All of the employees ignored me. I waited at the counter to pick up an order and they all sat their talking. They just refilled their drinks and ate and talked while I stood there waiting. When they finally decided to speak to me they were very rude and acted as though they were annoyed that I had come in. I even overheard them complaining and talking poorly about me and other customers present. Never bringing my business here again. Please stay away from this place. The food isnt very good anyways. Its typically stale.

The worst service of any place in Memphis, and that says a lot! We sent an email to the website about the service and did not get a response. Owners must not care. Save your time and money! The staff seemed to be bothered we wanted to place an order and even more put off by having to dip some bad soup into a styrofoam bowl and present us with a plastic spoon! We have eaten on the side of the road in third world countries that offered more courteous service than La Baguette French Bread and Pastry Shop in Memphis, TN

Ordered a day ahead to be sure to get the pastries I wanted for a Mothers Day celebration. Arrived to find out the order was in the computer but "some else" had neglected to fill out the slip to fill order. Out of the pastry I wanted and too busy blaming everyone but themselves to say "Sorry" or even pretend to be sorry. Rude. Said if I didnt like it "talk to the manager" who, course, was not there.

Whenever we drive thru Memphis, we always stop at LaBaguette. I dearly love their Grand Marnier cake with the buttercream icing! I live in Knoxville, and wish we lived closer. I have been going to this wonderful pastry shop since 1977, and you cant go wrong with any of their sandwiches or soups! Great place!!!!!

My feelings for this restaurant are like the French onion soup, salty. It took them 15 minutes to make me a very simple turkey sandwich(literally just turkey and bread) that tasted worse than something I could make at my dorm. The sandwich part is over priced and not very good.

The best bakery in town. Enjoy fresh breads, pastries, treats. My personal favorite is the almond crescent and the french bread. Whether you just want fresh bread or special pastries, make a point to stop here whenever you are in this part of town.

La Baguette is a great place to get a light lunch (I especially love their chicken salad on a croissant). Their prices range between cheap and moderate (maybe like $6-7 for a sandwich and drink for lunch). Delicious pastries too, mmm.

Great place for a sandwich at a reasonable price. The soup is great especially the corn chowder. Its nice to eat on the patio. The pastry and cakes are amazing we have had several from here for special occasions. So is the fresh bread.

La Baguette has the very best Squash Soup as well as the Tomato Basil and the Cream of Mushroom. You cant go wrong on any of soups. I am always pleased when I eat there for lunch or stop and get food to go. A real Memphis treasure!

Ive just ordered pastries to go, they were awesome and so was the service. I needed to go to other stores in the mall and the cashier saved them for me behind the counter. My husband plan to go here for lunch one day.

The pastry, breads, cakes, tarts, cookies, breakfast sandwiches, quiche, and lunch items are the best including the coffee. The quality of the food makes one feel the care and love that was used to made the food.

About as French as pork scratchings. Their baguettes are not made with french flour. The salads are bland. Overall whole foods is more french and has better pastries

The pastries were sub par, nothing that special. My macarons were just okay as well. A tad smaller than most places Ive been to and not much filling.
