We were choosing our pieces and then a couple came after us we allowed them to order before us , we though they finished their order , so ,we asked him to take our order , he responded in a rude way saying : i will take it after i finish them , they decided to add some beverages . Then they had a seat . He didnt get back to us , we were still standing waiting in front of him , he fixed their order , served it to their table , joined the other employee " who claimed later he is the manager " both of them were enjoying having a conversation with the same couple while we were still standing waiting for the help ! When he got back to the cashier we asked him to take our order , he said i was helping them , without even saying iam sorry ill help you next ! We thought its our turn then ! No he was fixing another order for them and completely ignoring us , and then we decided to leave , he didnt even care ! the manager was still enjoying the conversation with the same couple , watching us waiting for the help . And when we left he said whats wrong we said we didnt get helped here thank you . We called him later he answered the phone kept claiming he is the manager , i said i never heard that customers should wait on the other customers " taking their order and then have it on the table and then check on them if they need another order and then the turn of other customer would be !!!!! Should ihave waited for them to eat their food and then you will get back to me to take my order !!!! Thats not a good service ..... He responded : its hard to get helped in Memphis !!! When i heard that i realized its not something about the employee , its the way that owner runs his business!!

Nasty place and disrespectful employees. My first time at this place was a disaster!! first, while we were deciding which kind of cheesecake we are going to order, other customers came and made their choice very quickly! and then we were ready to order, but he was acting like we were invisible to him!!! he was taking his time and completely ignoring us, I thought maybe he is a new employee and he is learning but no, he was obviously ignoring us on purpose!!!! I asked him if we can make our order, but no reaction, he was keeping ignoring us and pretending he is still busy with the first customers who were already with another employee taking a care of them. 2 employees for a couple of customers!!! I am wondering if they are made for business (when 2 employees cant handle 4 people!!!!) we were waiting for more then 10 minutes in a total indifference, and then I decided to leave, one of them said that he was the manager and Its hard to get helped in Memphis, thats his words, and that was his professional reaction!!! he is fine with making customers waiting and being ignored!!! thats why he hired people like him. I could wait 2 hours if they were polite! its one of the worst customer service I never had, dont waste your time, theres many interesting places for cheesecake in Memphis go get the service you deserve! My wife and I were coming back from vacation and for 4 hours she asked over and over if we were going through Memphis TN. Finally we arrive, her giving directions, at the Cheesecake Corner. I dont eat deserts, but , I decided to try a slice. OMG. We live in Oklahoma but will definitely will drive to Memphis just to get more cheesecake. And the lady that posted the negative review, that is NOT what happened. I know because my wife and I were the couple she was writing about in the review. They, two females, were offered service but wanted to decide what they wanted and told the counter clerk to serve us first. The clerk told them he was to take customers in order of arrival. They were the ones to insist. The counter clerk did a tremendous job trying to accommodate everyone. It hadnt been two minutes and the two females got mad and stormed out. It was NOT the stores fault. The store owner tried to assist them but they wouldnt allow him to do anything. The Cheesecake is truly amazing. I dont normally eat sweets but I make the exception when it comes to the Cheesecake Corner. Every variation is fabulous. My all-time favorite is the German Chocolate.

Delicious cheesecake and great experience!! And btw I was there with my family when Mrs. Tammy Berryhill was there in line in front of us. It didnt go down exactly like she said. There was a big sign on the door that says dont seat yourself until you have ordered your cheesecake. Its a small space so the rule is in place to insure everyone with food has a place to sit. Anyway the owner was going to let Miss "Im from Georgia" slide and said "hey next time please follow the rules". She got attitude with him. And I guess thinks that rules dont apply to her. Then he got lose and told her to take her money and get out. He has the right to refuse service to anyone. The line was to the door and not one person was on the side of this entitled lady. We all stayed and the cheesecake was delicious.

We went on a Saturday night around 8pm-the place wasnt busy so you think it would be cleaner and less messy. The cheesecake was $8.95 a slice so Im expecting the BEST cheesecake ever, um, not so much...gooey weird texture and just super sweet...not a true cheesecake tangy flavor. My husband got the chocolate strawberry and i got the cheesecake brownie. Definitely not worth the price and i would comment on the "service" but, you could barely call it that..3 young men milled around, one behind the counter took our orders with his arms crossed and when i asked for water just pointed at a serve-yourself water fountain. Same guy when i asked for a to-go box because mine broke just dumped my food in the other, slapped it shut and handed it back...geez thanks?!

EXCELLENT CHEESECAKE, bad customer service!!! 05/2016 The Owner/Server/Cashier was very rude, YES all three in one person. His body language and tone of voice was very inappropriate during our visit. They have a nice selection of cheese cake to choose from, if you are not sure what to order then you better move to the side and allow someone that know what they want to order because he get upset when you dont know which one to order and I hate to feel rushed when spending MY MONEY!!!!! I believe in supporting BLACK OWNED BUSINESS but sometimes we can kill our own business because of ATTITUDE and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Im only give 3 stars for the amazing cheesecake NOT THE SERVICE. #hiremoreemployees #savetheattitude

I absolutely LOVE this place. I am a regular so much that I know by name and they know me. They deliver great service and exceptionally great food. Not only are the cheesecakes heavenly, but the quiche is so flavorful, and big too! They also have chicken and waffles and ribs. Its not your ordinary chicken either...Im talking herb roasted chicken with light crisp waffles and a bowl of grits! They make wonderful food, extraordinary cheesecakes and they treat me like family! Kudos to Kevin (owner), OJ (counter clerk) and all the great staff! I simply love you guys! :-) This spot is a must if youve never been; trust me!
