I took my dog in yesterday and was really impressed by the customer service. I had an early appointment for my girl at the Hixson-- Ban field vets office. After dropping, our dog off, my husband and I went in to the grooming section. They helped us no problem. Even with out an appointment. They worked with us and picked up Sadie after her vets visit. I was wowed by how helpful all of the Petsmart/Ban field staff is. The vets visit and the grooming experience was really quick. I was back in the store picking up my baby in no time. What I was the most impressed was patient they were with my girl. My dog, she is part Jack Russell and getting into her defiant teenager years. Stubborn and strong as a mule. It would take the patience of a saint to get through shaving all of the hair of this little fur ball. Thomas worked with her and did a great job. The haircut, trims and ea cleaning were done really well. Petsmart-Hixson grooming and Banfield gets my 5 stars.

I took my dog here to be euthanized, and the nurse was very rough and aggressive with him. They accidentally pulled his collar and muzzle off and he came running back to me terrified. They over-tranquilized him before-hand so he could not use a muscle even to keep his own tongue in his mouth and he began drooling uncontrollably. The nurse then tried to leash him and walk him into the back room. Then they labeled him wrong for cremation and instead of getting his ashes back they scattered him at some random garden. It was the worst experience of my life. I will say that the vet was good and professional, and the receptionist was very good. However, I will never walk back in that building, and I highly recommend choosing any other vets office over this one.

Worst place to take pets for grooming. Took 2 dogs (a 7 month old and a 6 year old) they REFUSED BOTH DOGS, cause the 7 month old was "too aggressive" which she is not, you just have to give her more than 2 seconds to warm up to you, and the 6 yo dogs rabies shot was a 3 year vaccine and not an annual booster. People just want to try and get out of actually having to work. Will not be back for anything.

Staff very friendly and polite. Though I only came to make a simple purchase, everyone went out of their way to make sure I could find everything that I needed, even my cashier. Also, staff stocking goods, or otherwise busy, took the time to smile and say hello. Ill bet it is a nice place to work, everyone seemed quite pleasent for a Monday morning!

The employees are very nice and always sweet to my dog. The store is very clean and well-stocked. However I took my golden/Aussie mix to be bathed and nails trimmed and he had a good amount of dander the weeks following. Maybe it was the shampoo? Also, he was still wet when I picked him up. Aside from the grooming services, I enjoy this store!

Staff are very helpful and attentive and will tell you they do price matching! The managers, Jeff and Kristen? are AWESOME! They will actually talk to you about concerns and make all attempts to make things right AND they clean up the Hamilton Places mistakes. Hamilton Place is a joke, so just come to the Hixson store!!

My Little dog went to Petsmart grooming for 16 years ...until recently passing... he was old and feeble....the young man that took care of him was amazing. He treated him as if he were his own. I appreciate the patience and loving care shown to by little Harley by his groomer and the staff at the Hixson/153 Petsmart.

My little English Bulldog (70lb) is treated like an old friend every time we take him there to get his nails did. The love Mr. Buttons and treat him like a prince. They dont even mind that he climbs into the lower shelf of a shopping car to be wheeled back for his trim. Good people.

I had never used their dog grooming before but really was in need of grooming for my border collie who can be a handful. They were very professional but also were very kind to my dog. Highly recommend the groomers! Jeff was awesome, but they all seemed so nice. Dont forget to tip!

I love this store! An awesome place to shop and an even more awesome place to work. The staff here truly cares and wants the store to be the best it can be. I love going to work every day and seeing how much everyone does. Great store!
